18 How to train a Protagonist Part 1

"Listen up Midoriya now we begin our training!", said All Might in his buffed form with his fists clenched, gazing at the sun rising up at the horizon, and Midoriya who looked at the awesome pose of All Might made a similar pose and yelled," Yes!!", determination was visible in his eyes, both of them looked at the sun as if getting ready for a Martial Arts battle.

" Very Well, Now the First things first", said All Might only for an unknown voice to appear," I'ma say all the words inside my head", and All Might continued," Yes! All the words inside my head!- Wait! Akash!", he looked at the Akash who appeared out of nowhere and made a fun out of him in front of Midoriya whose eyes shined as he quickly took out of his Notebook from nowhere as well and furiously started writing and muttering that Believer was the favorite song of All Might.

" Wait! Wait! Midoriya Believer isn't my favorite song!", he said only for Midoriya to look at him with fired up eyes as he asked," Then which song it is?!!!", the poor All Might slapped his forehead while looking at Akash with eyes that seemed to say,' Fuck you ', Akash chuckled which highlighted his cuteness and All Might forgive him, even if he wouldn't say the words loudly he knew, ' That cuteness is justice!!! '.

" Aka-Aka-KA-Akash! Yo-You are here?!!", Midoriya said while stuttering as he looked at him, Akash's beauty was really God-level after all and poor Midoriya had zero experience talking with girls, much less girls with such beauty! Akash meanwhile raised his hand ready to give Midoriya a bitch slap to get him into reality, making the boy shudder," Wait! Wait! Don't slap me! I remember it! You are a boy!", he said avoiding Akash's special move who looked at his hand regrettably.

Seeing that his poor cheeks were fine Midoriya breathed in relief, All Might had already gave him a brief introduction to Akash who was supposed to the first person to be chosen by All Might to inherit his quirk, but considering his wish of not being a Pro Hero for long, All Might changed his mind and even Akash was fine with it. Midoriya, being Midoriya didn't feel jealous about it.

" Um, sorry I didn't get to talk much to you last day", said Midoriya while rubbing his cheeks embarrassedly, and Akash just nodded while seeing his protagonist-like behavior. " Anyway Akash why are you here?", asked All Might and he replied," Well OfCourse to see you both making extremely embarrassing pose on top of a heap of garbage pile", his words made All Might almost cough out blood in his buffed form!

While Midoriya realized that he apparently embarrassed himself in front of a gi-wait a boy! Eh?! Anyway the impact was still there! He couldn't help but blush while muttering how is social life is over. Akash looked at him speechless and got in front of him and snapped his fingers garnering his attention," Stop being dramatic, it is not as if you had any social life", he said making Midoriya grab his chest dramatically as he realized what Akash said was truth.

" Ahem, anyway I am here to repay my debt!", he said and All Might said worriedly," You are in debt?!!", Akash became speechless looking at All Might who understood that he had misunderstood. Finally coughing like some old man, he asked," What debt?", Akash replied in a normal tone," You took out your precious time, went with my extremely selfish request of training me when I had no thought of becoming a serious Pro-Hero, it is the time I help you back, by training this weak and thin broccoli stick and turn it into a Macho broccoli stick!".

All Might looked at Midoriya from head to toe, understanding the reference and said," Still, Akash you shouldn't make fun of others like this ", Akash shrugged and then Midoriya said," Thankyou! I don't know if I am worth this much trouble, but I will do my best!", a smile bloomed on his face, while Akash thought,' Damn, he is going to be a ladykiller '.

" Now for the first part of your training, you will clean this entire beach on your alone!", said All Might, while Midoriya became stunned, then he looked around seeing the heaps of heaps garbage piled up. It almost seemed as if they were in a different world, and then reacted," Huh?!", his entire face became pale, as he knew he fucked up.

" One! Two! Three! Four! ", said All might as he sat upon the poor Midoriya who fell on the ground half-conscious during his fifth pushup, foam came out of his mouth while All might stood up from his back," Young Midoriya! Are you okay?!!", he asked worriedly, while Akash rolled his eyes since he could see that thin broccoli stick couldn't handle the weight of the Pillar of the Justice.

Finally Izuku gave a thumbs up signifying he hadn't left the mortal plane for the journey towards Heavens making All Might breathe in relief, " Well, I guess you can rest for-", Midoriya quickly interrupted him," NO! ", he stood up from the ground, his figure trembling, his fists clenched and determination flashing, he smiled and said," If I give up now, I can never become a Pro Hero!", All Might eyes widened, as he saw a glimpse of his younger self in the boy.

He nodded and smirked," Very Well, then we will continue! Let's directly begin with cleaning the beach then! Plus Ultra!!!", he said, and Midoriya followed after," Plus Ultra!!!", and so did Akash in a sleepy tone," Plus Ultra", then Midoriya started dragging the garbage from the Beach. He started with lighter weight, and in half-an hour he was lying on the ground panting heavily. ' His stamina, is not stamina but a dried up broccoli ', Akash thought amusingly.

" Well, take this!", Akash took out a glass tube filled with a transparent liquid no different than water. " What is this?", All Might questioned him, knowing well that despite looking like water, the liquid in the glass tube was anything but water, if one thing he had learned from training Akash, is that this gi-*ahem* boy is mischievous as heck!

" Well it is a fluid that can replenish energy, and fasten muscle development", replied Akash with a smirk, as if he was shady professional drug dealer. Midoriya and Toshinori's eyes widened, as they looked at him in disbelief," Young Akash! When did you get involved in this shady stuff!!", he questioned him with a serious look.

" Well the moment you presented me with this thin broccoli stick who is in dire need of steroids to get a body like yours!", he said pointing at him, while All Might just slapped his forehead realizing he got fooled by Akash again. " Well, tell me truly what it is", asked Toshinori again, while Midoriya realized that All Might had trust issues related to Akash.

" Truly, it is but a healing potion I made from my energy and it is not lethal but extremely weak", he said, All Might hearing that handed it to Midoriya who gulped it knowing that if All Might trusted him then it was nothing to worry. Suddenly he felt energized and much better, and then he continued with the training, by the end of the day he was able to do ten pushups with All Might on his back before fainting.

As for All Might, he didn't asked him much about his potion knowing well that despite being Mischievous he won't do anything serious, and not to mention there are already many medicines like that in the market despite being at hefty cost and with minor side effects. The world of My Hero Academia was several decades into future and despite how the world, infrastructure which roughly looked the same, it was way advanced than Akash's old world.

Midoriya Pov

It had been roughly more than a week since I had began training under the guidance of the world's best Pro Hero, whose smile can give a reassurance no matter how dire the situation is, whose strength can shatter any supervillain and who can laugh even in the face of defeat, and turn it into victory, the Pillar of Justice! All Might!!!!

(A/N: Midoriya is a one scary fangir*ahem* fanboy!! 😨)

I can still remember to the tiniest bit of details, whether it was the atmosphere, the surroundings, the direction the wind blew, the exact minute, the exact second, where he said to me," Young Midoriya! You too can become a Hero!!", I couldn't help but cry at that moment, for the man who was my ideal, believed that I can become a Hero, even if my mother didn't! Even if my best friend Kacchan didn't! Even if no one else did!

After that he told me about the secret about his quirk, and I also met Akash again, who stood for me after that incident with the sludge man! At first I was quite skeptical about his appearance and even as of now, I find it difficult to believe that he is a man! Even if this can be simply explained by the quirks he holds, two to be exact.

His first quirk apparently increases his IQ, logical thinking, Arithmetical and Mathematical capabilities, I wanted to know more about it, how it differed from other IQ enhancing Quirks, but his second Quirk is what shocked me most! Apparently his second quirk is generating some weird energy that only his body can handle, maybe that is what affected his physical appearance?

I don't know much else, other than that he can manipulate this energy to achieve the effect of Energy Manipulation. If it was the true Energy Manipulation that I had first thought of when All Might told me about his quirk, then despite some limitations it would have been no different from a power of a Kami if mastered!

But again such a thing was farfetched and his quirk obviously had repercussions and severe limitations despite which it put him into similar power level as the likes of the All Might! OfCourse it took me not much time to understand that the reason his second quirk or rather his first quirk was strong because of his Brain Enhancement quirk, after all the processing power to manipulate something like energy at such precision is not something a normal quirk user could do.

If not for his enhanced brain it might have been difficult for him, I have even made up theories how his second quirk could be his body's natural response to control his first quirk and continue his survival. I am really excited to know more about his quirk! So I decided to ask him! Which leads to the current scene of me lying on the sand, with a broken nose and broken teeth.

" Ouch", I muttered while holding my bleeding nose, glancing All Might reprimanding Akash for his actions. " Nothing I can do, he asked he wanted to know more about my quirk and what's better way than having to train with me? Not to mention I am here to train him in first place, I can also control my strength very well", he said, and then took a new vial of potion.

" Tadda!! This is my new potion that could heal minor injuries, it drains me quite a bit, so I just have a few, Midoriya take this and you will be patched up in no time", he said with a small smirk, for some reason that smirk looked really scary! No matter how you look at this, the potions he make are definitely suspicious it is as if they are an evil witch's concoctions! But under the eyes of All Might which persuaded me, I had no choice but to drink this up.

In no time all the pain I felt disappeared, even my broken teeth was grown back. It was nothing short of miracle! " Very Well, I have two more potions! Let's continue training!!", he said, and I shivered," How about I just clean up the beach?", I asked, I looked at All Might but Akash had beaten me," Listen me! Being a Pro-Hero is no easy task, and even if you are training to inherit his quirk, in the end a muscular body isn't all that you would need, having some hand-to-hand combat training is essential, and in our current situation the responsibility naturally falls upon me!"

All Might reluctantly nodded and said," Althought Young Akash you are being rude, you are true and Young Midoriya I had talked with Young Akash about this, for UA Entrance Practical Examinations clearance you should be more prepared!", my face became pale as I looked at my ideal betraying me," Good, now let's begin training!", Akash said with an eager look.

I am again saying this to myself! Now matter how you look at it, Akash's handmade potions are suspicious as heck, and I feel as If I am a guinea pig for the practical test of this weird potions! " Fine! Let's begin! ", I said as I stood up and smiled a bit, no matter what I feel or think, it is true that Akash is trying to help me, even if he has those weird stuff and that smirk. Not to mention All Might feels he is correct so he should be correct! 

"Good! Now let's bea*ahem* train you", he said and I realized I fucked up.
