Character Profiles [Spoilers]
Yui Ishikawa
First appearance: Chapter 2- The Meet
Ishikawa Yui is a tall woman of twenty-seven years old with a slim figure—her long black hair reaches just past her shoulders, framing her sharp and angular face. A pair of thin-rimmed rectangular glasses rest on her nose, her slender nose peeking out of it. Eyes of dark color are hidden behind thin lenses, twinkling with a faint light as they peer out from beneath them.
Ishikawa Yui usually sports a knee-length skirt paired with a white tank top, along with some black stockings and leather-heeled shoes that give her a more mature look to her body type. However, this choice of attire makes her come off—as rather simple and ordinary—the sort of person that wouldn't stand out from the crowd.
Working as a bank clerk in the financial district of Tokyo, Yui Ishikawa is very serious about her job—a trait that is reflected in her wardrobe choices as well. Her hobbies include reading books about business and finance, watching TV shows about stock markets, and playing video games.

Shizuka Mayumi
First appearance: Chapter 5: The Professor
Shizuka Mayumi is a woman in her late thirties with shoulder-length black hair, dark eyes, and a slender build. Standing at about 6'5", she is taller than most Japanese women.
Working as a professor in Japanese history at the University of Tokyo, Shizuka Mayumi is a highly respected expert in her field. Famed for her extensive knowledge of late Heian period court politics, her books have been translated into numerous languages and read by many scholars across the globe.
Her fashion choices may seem unusual to some, but Mayumi has never cared much for trends or popular culture. Always dressed in conservative business attire consisting of a tailored suit, crisp white blouse, and formal necktie, she dresses in a way that reflects her professionalism and respectability.
Divorced after a brief marriage, Mayumi has lived alone ever since. At thirty-five years old, she is far too old for anyone to consider dating her, especially considering her previous marriage ended so quickly.

Kureha Fujiwara
First Full appearance: Chapter 8: Les Senteurs de la Nuit
Kureha Fujiwara is a young woman in her early twenties with striking dark purple eyes, lightly tanned skin, and dark brown hair that draped smoothly around her shoulders. She has full lips and high cheekbones, which stand out more strongly when she smiles, yet somehow accentuate the dignity of her features rather than detract from them. Her arms are toned and sport graceful lines of muscle from regular workouts. She's tall and slim and moves with catlike grace, but there's a strength and seriousness to her that belies her petite frame.
Kureha Fujiwara enjoys wearing bright colors and colorful jewelry and likes to accent her outfits with flowers and ribbons. She has an eye for fashion and is constantly changing her hairstyle.
Kureha has many interests besides wine-tasting, including art, music, and opera. Her favorite food is foie gras, and her favorite wine is Sauternes. She's fond of spicy foods and plays the piano whenever she can find the time.
Kureha's mother is Kaoru Fujiwara, the matriarch of the Fujiwara family and head of the whole clan. Born into an affluent family, Kureha Fujiwara is used to getting what she desires.

Akane Tomoe
First Full appearance: Chapter 10: Kawasaki Ninja
Akane Tomoe is a woman who looks like she was built in the gym. She's tall and well-muscled with short black hair that barely reaches her shoulders. Her eyes are stormy gray in color, almost black. She has two small piercings on one earlobe, a tattoo depicting a phoenix on her right shoulder, and several tats decorating various parts of her body.
Being a senior student at the university, she is popular amongst the student body, likely in regards to her success as captain of the baseball team. She is also the head of the Sports Committee, which oversees all sporting events at the academy.
Akane is quite the thrill seeker in her spare time, taking part in extreme sports, and loves to go out on her motorbike, camping, or mountaineering. She's always dressed like a cross between a professional athlete and an adventure woman, complete with shorts, T-shirts, and a pair of large leather boots.

Anastasia Ilyina
First appearance: Chapter 14: The Crimson Terror
Anastasia Ilyina is perhaps the most elusive and mysterious of all the assassins who have so far entered the business. In point of appearance, she is tall and commanding, with long snow-white hair that frames a somewhat pale face, from which her cold red eyes gleam out upon all whom she meets with an expression at once imperious and cruel.
Born in Eastern Europe, before she was feared as 'The Crimson Terror,' and her very name became an object of terror to the world at large, Anastasia Ilyina was a brilliant military commander. For six years, she held the command of one of the divisions of the Eastern army in Poland, and then suddenly, she disappeared, leaving not a trace behind, not a hint as to her whereabouts or intentions.
