104 Touring Saffron

Kimi was feeling rather pleased with herself so she spent some time wandering through Saffron City.

She had lived there for some time already but it was very rare for her to be able to take a proper look around.

The current funds she had allowed for her to support her own activities and some was being sent to fund Old P so she rarely ever spent her PokéDollars on other luxuries.

Her usual clothes were quite simple and consisted of mostly travel, casual and sporty clothes that were cheaper to purchase or that had still fit her from her old clothes.

Most of the other accessories or valuables Kimi had were what the previous owner of her body was given by her family before Kimi had taken over the body.

Some were not exactly to her taste and were not something she would usually use but she still did not throw them away or sell them off.

The original owner of her body must have treasured them and if they were gifts from her parents then there was still sentimental meaning in keeping them even if she was not going to make use of them.

Kimi did not really have anything that she could say was her own quite yet besides her Pokémon and two certificates that had been acquired through her own efforts.

One certificate came with her card that was granted after passing the provisional officer test while the second certificate was gained from her contribution towards the events that took place on Mount Moon.

There were some additional items and pieces of clothing she had gained from Old P but those were mainly considered as something to be used for her tasks rather than being any personal or vanity based items.

Any spare PokéDollars that were not spent on rent and living expenses were put towards her membership with the Karate Dojo.

Since she was in a state where she could afford to spend a little on herself and was feeling up to it, Kimi browsed some small market areas picking out some hair ties and accessories along with some other simple pieces of clothing that she liked.

She was enjoying herself as she purchased a couple of ribbons and cute bows that could be worn by one of her Pokémon.

Such items were something that could be made use of if she ever considered entering a contest in the future but they were still something she could use on Growlithe or Espeon who accompanied her regularly.

There was a familiar sight of there being a street performer in a regular spot who was putting in a Mime performance along with a Mr Mime so she stopped by there for a little while.

A Mr Mime and the girl who had her face painted white were both using very expressive body language as they showed off a wide variety of elaborate poses and facial expressions.

Kimi couldn't help but feel slightly nostalgic towards seeing such a scene since it reminded her of the street performers that could be found on the streets of her previous world.

It seemed like so long ago since she had ended up in the Pokémon world and had to go through what she had but there were a couple of times when there were things that reminded her of Earth.

She would be lying if she ever said that she did not miss it but there was also a part of her that was enjoying being in such a strange world too despite there being many challenges and dangers.

She spent a little more time watching and felt a little sentimental until she finally collected herself once more.

A couple of coins were dropped into the small box that was in front of the performance which gained her the attention of the female mime performer who flashed a wide smile and bowed gratefully.

As if Kimi was feeling a little playful, she responded by tipping an imaginary hat towards the mime girl before departing.

Just as she made a turn, her body seemed like she had hit a wall so she stumbled back a little holding her hand over her own face as she looked embarrassed.

Kimi shook off her state standing up straight before reaching out to grab onto something imaginary turning it and pulling her arm back.

Her head turned back towards the mime girl flashing a satisfied smile before walking off into the distance.

A small grin was spread on the face of the mime girl who watched Kimi disappear in the crowd then she looked a little inspired.

Her eyes were shining upon being given some new ideas on how to improve her act so she was very grateful to Kimi for the coins and the little display she put on.
