106 Dannii

It was an ordinary day within Saffron City Gym following some events which had lead to one Gym being removed and Saffron City Gym being known as the sole Pokémon League certified Gym in the city.

Many Psychics all around were becoming much more proud snd arrogant with every day that had passed to the point that they started to harass the Karate Dojo next door.

As the noises and voices were picking up all around, the crowds gathered to participate in their most recent activities and were up to no good.

Much further away at the back of the room sat a twelve year old girl who was seated crosslegged holding a metal spoon in front of her with a look of determination and concentration on her face.

She made no noise as she continued to release her Psychic energy which covered the metal spoon and started to bend it slowly.

Compared to other Psychics that were lifting and breaking much larger or heavier objects, the girl was still stuck on the basics but did not give up on herself as she kept persisting.

She had a pair of sapphire blue eyes and short curly pinkish-purple hair with a light skin tone.

Her body was quite fit and looked quite flexible and agile, her face and body had very light freckles which was dressed up in a striped collared shirt, shorts, suspenders, shoes, gloves and a small waist bag that had a Pokéball hanging from it.

Each slight change in her emotions was shown well on her expressive face especially when she had succeeded in her task.

Upon seeing the spoon bending and twisting under her control over her Psychic abilities, she flashed a large joyful grin unable to contain her happiness.

Dannii turned to the figure sitting by her side and nudged it causing it to wake up looking confused. "Mime?"

Dannii showed her results to her partner joyfully which resulted in Mr Mime clapping its hands expressively without making any noise since it stopped its hands before they made contact with each other.

Her attention soon turned to the crowd gathering so she collected Mr Mime back into the Pokéball.

Dannii followed and witnessed the scene happening outside of the Karate Dojo and felt a little sorry for them until the moment that someone stepped out snd confronted them making them back off either ease.

Dannii watched from further away but she could still hear most of what was discussed which caused her to be a little envious of the girl who was able to use her words to diffuse the situation in such a short time.

It was a little later that Karate Master Koichi visited the Saffron City Gym and came to the leader Sabrina personally to help settle the matter behind closed doors which resulted in some troublemakers keeping themselves out of trouble for some time.

Danni spent her days and nights like usual as she kept up her usual activities where she encountered the same girl who she had almost forgotten about.

The girl gifted her money and put on a small comical display which gave Dannii new ideas of how she and Mr Mime could improve their street performance.

Her white face paint and other markings were rubbed off revealing her light skin tone and light freckles on her face in order to transition between her usual work and her Psychic studies.

Just as she was walking towards the Saffron City Gym, Danni's brows knit as she started to hear some slightly hushed voices that she recognised. "…"

"Yes.. we watched her boss."

"No problems! I saw her heading towards the city gates not too long ago."

"Excellent. Let's head out."

Their footsteps started to move further away and Dannii was left feeling conflicted. 'Should I just ignore this and go to train or should I go?'

She was uncertain what they were up to but whatever it was, it would not be anything good so she was hesitant about leaving them alone.

Her fists clenched as she looked towards the entrance of the Saffron City Gym with a conflicted expression on her face before turning back around to chase in the direction where the footsteps were headed previously.

When she reached outside of the city gates and headed further down the road, Danni came across the scene of the group of troublemakers approaching a familiar looking girl who had tanned skin, teal green hair and red eyes. 'It is her again. oh no!'

She quickly realised what was happening and was unsure of how she should act.

One side was linked to the place she was a regular at where she would work on her Psychic abilities so if she intervened then it could mean trouble for herself when she was there.

The other side was someone who she had some admiration mixed with envy towards while also taking into account their most recent encounter.

A part of her wanted to step out and help the girl but she remained hesitant and unable to take action.

That was until a chuckle came from further away from the girl. "Teaming up on a young girl like me? Truly.. you have no shame. Alright then. Let us fight but you do not mind me picking out a partner for myself right?"

Chuckles came from all around her as one of the troublemakers had laughed. "I will give you ten seconds. Hahaha."

Giving such a short time to find a helper was ridiculous unless there was a willing person nearby and she was unable to make a trip to get help from others.

There was no way for an excuse to be made to escape which caused Dannii to realise they had no plans on letting the girl gain any opportunity to escape or gain an advantage.

The girl spoke again with a calm tone of voice. "Fine. I choose her over there."
