20 MOVING ON

Our past mistakes in life become who we are in the presence and it helps us to shape our future.

Sometimes I think about Desmond wishing we could be together but when the escapade of Edwin flashes on my mind, that feeling dies down and the feelings become a norm.

I sat in the second sitting room thinking about how to call my mom to explain more about me staying with my cousin when Cynthia walked in looking so pressed.

“ what’s wrong"? I said,

"Please, Joanne ' am looking for the restroom, do you know where it is, o can’t seem to get what miss Jenny explained to me".

"Oh, ok! Well, I get confused myself too, but I will just take you there myself", we walked down to the restroom.

I decided to go to my room to make the call, I got to my room to dial her number when Desmond’s call came through,

I never wanted to pick it up but the intelligent gesture on my phone picked it up for me when I tried muting it.
