Entrance Exam (part 1)

"Ohh you want to take the entrance exam? I hope you know that your case is a bit special right? I mean, you are full of secrets. How can we let you just casually take the exam? Our Ancient Dragon Academy welcomes everyone, but the entrance exam is expensive. Can you afford it?"

Elder Rao knew that Ren was sealed inside that crystal by someone for a reason. This Ren might be dangerous. The disciple beside her also looked at him with curious eyes. Usually, everyone has its own aura. The form and intensity of the aura depends on the person. The aura could get messy and uncontrollable during panic and anxiousness. You need a good control over your aura to keep it calm all time. The aura around Ren was gentle and moved like the light breeze. It was incredible in the eyes of this disciple.

Ren clearly understood the reason behind their wariness.

"I understand your doubts. My full name is Su Ren and I lived in this deadly forest for 7 years since my village got destroyed by beasts. I sealed myself in this crystal after 1,5 year of training."

"You are still alive in the deadly forest after 7 years? Why did you seal yourself? You mentioned something about body reconstruction."

The deadly forest was deadly for a reason. The stronger beasts inside the forest rivaled the stage four practicioners. The ruler of the forest was equal to stage 5. No sane creature would live in such a forest.

The elder walked out of the cave with her disciple and took out a crystal ball. This ball can connect two voices and allows the two parties to chat with each other. Elder Rao quickly contacted the principal.

"Elder Rao greets the principal, the boy inside the crystal woke up and....." Elder Rao explained the events and asked the principal.

"Hmm, hmm. This boy is interesting. You said that the boy is only on the early first stage right? What's your opinion about his strength?"

Elder Rao understood the order and the call ended. They approached Ren and smiled.

"Congratulations, the principal agreed and you can take the entrance exam with the others. We will now head towards Phoenix city where you can take the entrance exam. Uhh, I forgot to give you this."

Elder Rao blushed and turned her head away after she gave a white robe to Ren.

"Sorry and thanks." Ren realised the crux of the matter but he remained calm. He was poor in human emotions after 7 years of isolation. They started running towards the city after Ren dressed up. He looked very charming in the simple white robe. The city was not far away and they reached it in 40 mins. Ren learned many new things during the travel. In this society, particles are known as mana. Elder Rao described it just like the book inside Ren's head. Elementals still exist and Ren was happy to hear that he is considered as a talent in the eyes of Elder Rao. They reached the city gates and passed through without a problem. Ren saw the thousands of people and a slight smile appeared on his face. It was truly a new beginning for him.

"Now, I will take you to the entrance exam. The instructor will explain everything once we arrived."

Elder Rao lead him into a big building where several boys and girl around his age sat on chairs. Curiosity filled the other newcomers when they saw that the new guy came with an academy elder. Elder Rao looked at Ren and explained the important things.

"I give you a hint since the principal choose you personally. The exam is about your power and intelligence every year and deaths will occur. We will meet again if you pass the test."

Elder Rao bid farewells and left the scene. Ren looked around and started walking towards an empty seat beside a young, but beautiful girl. With a black short hair and nice curves, she looked really beautiful. The girl blushed when she felt the soul piercing gaze of the mysterious newcomer. The calm yet dangerous aura, the relaxed behaviour even in front of so many nobles. Everything about him was a mystery. Ren sat down next to the girl and in that instant, several eyes widened in disbelief.
