In a heartbeat, you vanished to memories that should not be named. Doubts and confusions about the reality of your existence loitered through time. As the world carried on, you turned more and more into an illusion created by a young heart.

This story is about a heart that was never the same again after you, a heart that was thrown into reality of a world so cruel, and a heart self-taught to reach for the stars as it fell endlessly.

Her name is Anah Arasi, Anah for patience and perseverance and Arasi for queen. Anah is a middle-class ordinary girl, born brown, and raised in a world where mistakes are not tolerated. Short in height, long black hair and an average looking teenager she was. Her eyes as brown as dark chocolate and a smile as bright as the first weeks of spring. On the contrary, her silence was dangerously deafening, but little did anyone care as obedience was applauded.

Despite that, Anah was more like a canary than a crow, elegant and beautiful at heart. Naïve and white, this teenager made the mistake of giving out her heart to a boy. This life event shook her into a reality she was unaware of. To put it out bluntly, Anah's family had a book passed down over generations. This book contained rules blindly followed across years from the day it was first written by her ancestors.

Unfortunately, Anah's belief in the one thing declared taboo in that book, brought her to her growth and fall.

It was Falling in Love.

Love and her family were like two parallel lines, they were not allowed to cross. Perhaps, Anah knew nothing regarding this book. On the other hand, maybe despite knowing it all, she took a leap of faith. It was a mystery to her too, a question that still echoes her tumbling world.

As true as this can be, a child is not bestowed with the power to choose their parents nor their family. Regrettably, like every other child, she was no different, she had her own storm too. Anah was sheltered from the outside world, she was living oblivious of the bigger war that was to come.

To the eyes of outsiders, Anah got everything she had ever wanted. There wasn't a soul that was fooled by her gorgeous smile and joyful spirit. This made making honest friends difficult and sincerity hard to find, Anah had made enemies just by existing.
