3 Startling Change

The first thing i notice is the massive amount of greenery. I hear birds and the sound of running water. There must be a water source somewhere nearby. I then notice something odd. I have this sense, like someone is watching me. I look around, but so far just wild life. Someone speaks up "How are you doing?" That voice is familer... who is it? "Yes I'm okay. Who are you?" A familer pair of eyes pop out from behind a tree. "I am me." Okay... vague but, indeed an answer. I then say "Do you know your name? It would make me feel better if I knew your name." The stranger then says "uuunm it's... me.. Gabriel." My eyes go wide. 'Gabriel...?' I hesitently say "G...Gabriel..? Can you come out from behind that tree..?" "No! I-I mean no... You'll be scared..." "Gabe, well if you are Gabe. If you are you then I won't be scared. Come on out." Gabriel slowly walks out from behind his tree. Looks at me hesitently. He has dirty blond hair. Green eyes. Horns...WAIT HORNS??!! "You...You have horns...?" "Yes but you're no different." What did he mean by that? I look over to the lake behind me. When i see my reflection I nearly faint. My headache is gone. I don't understand what's happening. I have my usual black hair. Grey eyes. But two new 'added' features. Two black stripes on my neck. And... Wings... Made of ashy black feathers. I reach behind my back and touch the wings. It's real. There's no trick of the eyes. I feel the skin close to the wings. It's like they just sprouted from my fricking bones!? I mutter under my breath "I'm going to ignore this issue for now and focus on the more important things. Where the hell are we?!" Gabe gapes and says "I dunno, I just suddenly felt really sleepy and fell asleep in the middle of class." I then share "before I passed out, i had a terriable headache, i went to the nurse's office, she gave me this pill, and boom I'm here. Sound familier?" His face becomes shocked and nervous. "yeah... I had a bad headache too. The nurse was giggling when I took the meds... I dont underatand what's happening..." I dont know either... "It's late. The sun is setting already, we should find somewhere safe to camp and sleep some. We can talk about this tomarrow." "Okay... Oliver? I'm scared..." "I know Gabe. We'll get through this. For now we should sleep. Come on." When we find somewhere safe we lay down and rest. Both huddled up so we don't freeze to death. 'Night Gabriel.' Good night Ollie.' Huh?!
