16 Sixteen

Walking out the front door I made my way down the steps before saying fuck it and flying into the clouds, I just needed a few moments to recollect myself.

The situation wasn't bad, I didn't end up fighting the Cullens, the problem was me. I went into this believing that everyone would work out just fine with no preparation and that pissed me off immensely. I was a fool and that was something I could never be.

'Now I have to meet Meliodas and possibly Elizabeth… great.' I said to myself as I released a sigh.

Never once have I prepared myself to meet Meliodas and Tristan, I was already barely prepared for the knowledge of other supernatural races but now I had to deal with the existence of Seven Deadly Sins in Twilight… Which was another thing I didn't prepare for.

'I need strength.' I said to myself as I realized just how small I was at my current level.

Meliodas was way stronger than the current me in the canon 7DS and he exists here as one of the strongest beings in the world so I can safely assume he's at the very least as strong as his 7DS counterpart.

"Damnit…" I said as I gritted my teeth while floating on a cloud.

The realization that I was far weaker than I anticipated filled me with endless rage. I couldn't be weak it was against my very nature and everything I wanted to be, whether or not that was my Hanma bloodline speaking or not I didn't know but what I did know was I hated how I was feeling.

'I'll need to speed up the creation of NZT-48.' I said to myself knowing that it would be hard to speed up the creation but I would try regardless.

I sat in the clouds for around twenty minutes as I calmed my emotions. I needed to be calm, cool, and collected for when Aro, Meliodas, and maybe Elizabeth arrived since I had no clue how that would go.

Defending from the sky I soon found myself in front of the Cullens house debating on whether or not I wanted to go inside again or not, I could hear the conversation going on inside and it was about Bella becoming a Vampire. The conversation was important for sure but she was already so determined to become a vampire that she had forgotten about the stuff I was gonna make for her so I didn't really care if I was in the room or not while they spoke about turning her.

Deciding not to enter yet I sat down on the doorstep and waited until they finished talking before going inside.

Long story short, Bella was gonna become a Vampire soon. Yep, that was all, none of the bullshit that happened in Twilight would be happening here. The family wouldn't be placed in danger due to Edward and his mental problems, everything was going pretty damn well for this version of Bella if you ask me.

'So much for spectating Twilight and being a secret powerhouse.' I said to myself as I thought of my original goal in this world.

Were Vampires even the center of this world? I don't think so. But when I was reincarnated the panel said the world of reincarnation was Twilight so I think the most important role goes to them still… or maybe not, who knows at this point.

'Did my existence really change everything so much?' I asked myself as I thought of everything.

'Whatever, I'll think more about it later.' I said inwardly as I walked back into the house.

"Hey, Tristan." Emmett said to me as I walked into the living room.

"Hi." I replied as I sat in the spot I previously sat at.

'I hope this can hurry up, I wanna get back to the lab.' I said to myself knowing that the only reasons I was here still was because Bella was here and Alice would arrive soon.

After sitting down I sat silently as everyone did as they were before I had entered the room, and while doing so I looked at Carlisle who appeared as if he had something to say to me but didn't speak up.

Although I was silent I wasn't idle, I was thinking of things I could try when I returned to the lab. I knew it wouldn't be easy speeding up the process of creating NZT-48 but I would figure it out because I knew it would give me the boost I needed to truly begin doing what I wanted.

~ 30 minutes later ~

After thirty minutes of constant thought and simulations in my head, I was able to think of one method that would allow me to kick-start the creation of NZT-48 that I had been overlooking but just as I was about to enter an ever deeper trance someone knocked on the door. I had overheard Carlisle on the phone from his office and he told Aro the way to get here so I had a rough idea of who was outside.

'I know women shop for a long time but I wish Alice was here.' I said to myself as I watched Carlisle walk to the front door in a hurry.

"It's nice to see you again old friend." A voice I recognized as Aro said to Carlisle who had just opened the door.

Just like before when Carlisle was on the phone with Aro all of the Vampires present fell silent which allowed me to hear the conversation.

"It's nice to see you again as well my friend." Carlisle replied to Aro before continuing.

"A pleasure to see you again as well King Meliodas and Queen Elizabeth." Carlisle said.

"Mhm, it's nice to see you again Carlisle." A feminine voice I recognized as Elizabeths replied.

"Yeah, what she said." Meliodas said.

"Ah, please follow me." Carlisle said understanding that they didn't want to speak with him much yet.

I heard a collection of footsteps approaching the living room where I, Bella, and the vampires were currently in until soon enough a short blond haired man and a taller woman with white hair crossed with a tiny bit of green.

I wasn't sure how to feel when I saw the two of them but the smiles on their faces were enough to tell me how they felt.

"Hehe, your eyes tell me you must be Tristan." Meliodas said as he made eye contact with me, my heterochromatic eyes gave it away.

"I am." I replied unsure of where this was going.

Hearing my response Meliodas and Elizabeth smiled wider until Elizabeth herself spoke up.

"My name is Elizabeth... I am your mother." Elizabeth said with a tone that told me she was trying to keep herself together.

Unlike in the anime, the Elizabeth in front of me didn't have any of the personality that she did at the beginning of 7DS and I could sense the Goddess energy coming from her so it was safe to say she had already broken away from her human container and awoken her Goddess memories, but when Carlisle told me she and Meliodas were in the top twenty strongest beings in the world I already assumed she did.

"And I am Meliodas, your father." Meliodas said with his hands behind his face as his face showed his happiness.

"Hello I guess, I'm not sure how I should respond to that." I replied truthfully I honestly had no clue what to say or where this conversation was supposed to go.

"Hehe, that's fine, we're just as surprised as you." Meliodas said with his usual smile.

"Mhm." Elizabeth nodded at Meliodas's words and once again I could sense that she was feeling overwhelmed due to her emotions, I'm sure the woman missed me quite a lot.

"..." We both fell silent as we scanned each other.

Although Meliodas was keeping himself together better than Elizabeth I could tell that he was excited to see me as well which made me feel kinda bad since I wasn't able to reciprocate those feelings, I never expected to meet them so I didn't have any emotions on the matter beforehand.

"Can I hug you?" Elizabeth asked me with an almost pleading tone as she broke the silence.

Hearing Elizabeth's words caused me to think silently for a few moments. I wasn't really in the mood for his hugs from anyone besides Alice but I didn't want to turn down Elizabeth as she spoke with that tone.

"Sure…" I replied as I stood up.

"Isn't he supposed to be short like his papa?" Meliodas asked with his finger pointed at me while looking at Elizabeth.

"Just because you and Zeldris are short doesn't mean our child has to be." Elizabeth replied with a sweet smile like she hadn't just stabbed the man's weak spot.

"Oof…" Bella said as she looked at Meliodas who had his hand above one of his hearts like he was in pain.

"That was a low blow." Meliodas said as he wiped a fake tear.

"Not any lower than your height." Elizabeth replied as I stood in front of her.

'At least she doesn't let him grope her in public anymore.' I said to myself approvingly, being perverted with your lover was fine but doing it in public where everyone could see what only you should see wasn't something I could get behind. I would probably kill someone if they saw Alice in the vulnerable and sensual state she's in when we do anything sexual.

'There I go with my dark thoughts again...' I said to myself knowing I cared for Alice far more than I could express, so much so that I wouldn't mind taking the lives of others for her, even if I felt a certain way about it afterward.

"Looks like we know where he got his humor from." Emmett said with a slight chuckle.

Not paying attention to Emmett's words or the 'heartbroken' Meliodas Elizabeth hugged me tightly.

"We've been searching for so long…" Elizabeth said as her voice quivered, she must have been truly sad about my kidnapping.

"I'm so happy to finally meet you Tristan." Elizabeth said as her grip tightened and tears came from her eyes.

'Now how the fuck do I respond to that?' I was horrible with emotions and now I had a woman who was my biological mother crying in front of me, I felt obligated to try and cheer her up but I had no clue how.

"Yeah... um, well nice to meet you too." I said unsure of how to soothe the Goddess's emotions.

Elizabeth hugged for a bit longer before letting go and wiping her tears as Meliodas watched with a big smile.

"I feel the need to ask something." I said as I returned to my seat and the Demon and Goddess sat on the couch across from me.

"And what would that be?" Meliodas asked curiously.

"What are you seeking from this? Do you only want to meet me or is there more to it?" I asked wanting to know the endgame, did they want to meet me and try to build a parental relationship with me or what? What was the goal for all of this?

Elizabeth and Meliodas looked at each other for a moment before Meliodas spoke up with a serious tone.

"We want to get to know you." Meliodas said completely serious a contrast from his laidback nature depicted in the anime.

"Alright." I replied fine with that, I wasn't an abandoned child, I was technically a lost one and I chose my background myself so I didn't hate or blame them for not being around, that would be foolish.

"That's it?" Meliodas said with some surprise in his tone.

"Yeah, Carlisle told me about the situation where I was kidnapped so I don't have any negative feelings toward either of you." I said before continuing.

"And it's not like I had a harsh life, I was adopted and have lived a fulfilling life since a young age." I said expressing that I had no ill feelings against them, I had lived a good life so far.

"..." Meliodas and Elizabeth seemed surprised by my answer, almost as if they had expected the worst response from me, but that was fine, I also knew to expect the worst from people I didn't know.

"Great!" Meliodas said regaining his smile.

"So where do we start?" Meliodas said jokingly afterwards causing most people here to chuckle at his playfulness.

"I'm home!" Alice's voice came from the front door.

'Finally.' I said as a smile appeared on my face.

A few moments later Alice could be seen skipping down the hallway but when she entered the living room and saw people she didn't recognize she paused.

"Alice, this is Aro the leader of our faction, and these are King Meliodas, and Queen Elizabeth, the rulers of the Liones Kingdom." Carlisle said immediately.

"Nice to meet you." Alice said promptly before turning her attention away from the three, she didn't care about them.

"Miss me?" Alice said with a smile as she jumped on my lap.

"I did." I replied as Alice hugged me, her presence alone calmed me.

"Hehe, good." Alice said as she hugged me tighter until she froze.

"Tristan." Alice said with those crazed eyes I loved.

"Yes?" I replied.

"Why do you smell like another woman?" Alice asked with a tone that told me she wasn't pleased in the slightest.

A collection of gulps was heard throughout the room, none present had seen Alice like this before, this side of her was foreign to all but me.

"Well..." I said before explaining everything that had happened from when I got here until now which caused Alice to calm down considerably while she tried to remove the scent of Elizabeth that got on me from our hug.

"I see, you must've been angry." Alice said as she placed her hand on my right cheek.

I smiled at Alice's words, she knew my nature well and she also knew how I felt about the situation I was in.

"I was." I replied with a smile before continuing.

"I'm fine now though." I said with a smile, I was happy Alice was here.

"Meliodas, Elizabeth, this is my mate Alice Cullen." I said as I looked at the Demon and Goddess who had smiles on their faces.

"Hello." Alice said as she waved at the two.

"Hola." Meliodas said as he greeted Alice in a different language with a smile as he waved back.

"It's nice to meet you, Alice." Elizabeth said to Alice.

Alice, Elizabeth, and Meliodas exchanged a few more words until the conversation turned back to me.

"I have a few things I need to handle so I think we can wrap this up for today." I said causing the two to nod, we had already said what needed to be said, there wasn't much left to speak about now.

"Whatcha doin'?" Meliodas asked curiously.

"He's probably studying stuff in his lab." Bella said breaking her silence, I had almost forgotten she was here.

'She just snitched incredibly hard.' I said to myself knowing that I didn't intend to mention the lab to many people, I didn't trust a lot of people and I would need to tell Bella to not tell people like she just did.

Bella telling the people present was iffy, I don't think Meliodas and Elizabeth would have ill intentions if they were to find out about my lab but I didn't know about Aro, or shoot any of the Cullens either.

"And you are?" Elizabeth said questioning.

Most of the Cullens looked at her with surprise, they hadn't spoken either since they didn't have the status to do so, in the room were some important figures and they were nowhere near qualified to speak to them as I or Alice did, and Bella had done what they were afraid to do.

"Bella Swan, Tristan's sister." Bella replied.

"Nice to meet you Bella." Elizabeth said immediately.

"Yeah, what she said." Meliodas said in agreement with Elizabeth.

"Alright, let's get going." I said as I stood up and turned toward Bella.

"You stayin' or what?" I asked Bella.

"I'll stay for a while longer, Edward can drop me off later." Bella replied as she waved her hand telling me to go on without her.

"Okay." I replied before looking down at Alice.

"You coming?" I asked wondering if she would come with me to the lab or not.

"Yep." Alice replied with a smile.

"Alright." I replied with a smile.

"Here's my number." I said as I showed Meliodas and Elizabeth my contact information, I knew they had the ability to memorize it with a glance.

"Thanks." Meliodas said with a smile.

"Mhm, thank you Tristan." Elizabeth said with a happy smile.

"Yeah, see you later." I said as I began to make my exit with Alice next to me.

'What a day.' I said to myself as I got into my car with Alice, nothing had gone as expected.
