7 Chapter 7: Waiting and Casino

Pamela decided to walk off the weird feeling and had a chat with the family to get to know them better.

While she had a chat with the mother she felt nervous and prayed she does not say anything that would offend the mother. Pamela would ask if there are rules that she should follow and if there was anything she could do to help out.

She was told there were not really any rules and just help clean around the house. Although for the first few weeks, she felt like a stranger, she cleaned the house and tried to strike up a conversation with his siblings. Some of them were young so it was not too hard to talk with them, but the teens did not really feel like talking.

After playing with the younger siblings she ends up following Topias and hangs out with him and his friends. The group walked around the stores nearby and browse the things that are on display. When they got hungry they would go eat at a fast food place that is close to the stores and order a lot of food. They walked to one of the friend's house and played some video games and competed with each other.

As nighttime came everyone went to their own homes to rest or go and take a shower in the bathroom. When Pamela and Topias got home they went to the room to cuddle to each other for a little bit. They told each other how they think their day went and Pamela told him that she likes walking around with him and his friends.

They gave each other a peck on the cheeks, but all of a sudden, one of the older siblings came into the room and ask him if he was busy. The older siblings told Topias they plan to go to the casino and try to win some money. Topias told them he will go, but Pamela can't because she is still too young. He got his things ready and told Pamela that she should rest it will not take him too long to come back home.

After they left she had a hard time sleeping by herself and as she was also scared of the dark, she cowered under the blankets praying there is nothing scary things in the room. For the whole night, she could not have a moment's peace and developed baggy eyes. She finally fell asleep around seven in the morning.

Close to noon was when he came back home and as soon as she heard him come back she went out of the room and pounced on him. She gave him a lot of kisses and told him how much she missed him. To her the whole night felt like an eternity full of nightmares and she felt that she was alone.

The mom and grandmother who was in the living room got upset at Pamela saying that is inappropriate to hug him like that in front of them. She apologized to them and took Topias into another room and told him she felt lonely while he was gone for so long.

He gave her a hug and told her he will spend more time with her that day. The couple decided to walk around the neighborhood and enjoy the scenery.

When it was night they saw a pretty dark sky with a beautiful full moon. The couple walked back home to sleep, however, Pamela ended up not being able to sleep. At that exact moment, she hears a sound coming from outside and called Topias to go check it out. He ran out with a knife in hand trying to find the source of the sound and found out it was a thief trying to steal some plastic bottles.

Although Topias did not get the thief, he did manage to scare the thief to run far away from the house. After about three months had passed she was surprised to find that her parents had come to take her back home.

They had found the address to his house because she forgot her letters in her room. The parents cried and promised they will not hurt her anymore and just want her back. Pamela had no say in what the grown-ups were talking about. Everyone agreed that Pamela should return home with her parents.

Pamela was reluctant to pack up her things, but she did as she was told and slowly went to go pack everything that she brought with her. Topias gave her a look which in turn forced her to pack up her things a bit faster. The couple had to say goodbye and give each other kisses before she had to go. She took one last look at Topias before going into the car and heading all the way back home.

On the way back no one was talking and she thought to herself when will she see him again as well as what should she do with her life from now on.
