16 Chapter 16: Dance Dance

After classes, she and Vaughn went to walk around the school campus and talked to get things off of their chest.

Vaughn expressed how much it had hurt him that his girlfriend did not actually want to his with him and that she played him. He started to tear up thinking about how much effort he put in to make her happy. Pamela saw him crying and started to cry too as she knows how it feels to be with someone and get left behind.

She wanted to comfort him but she did not want to make things weird between the two of them and ruin their friendship. In the end, after contemplating for a bit she gave him a hug and gave him a pat on his head.

Out of nowhere, it seems, Vaughn said that he wished that he could have a girl just like Pamela and he would be very happy.

Pamela blushed a little bit at his comment and told him she thinks he is cute but, told him maybe they should wait until he feels ready before dating again. He agreed with her suggestion and he went off to go think some things over. Pamela stayed behind wondering if she should be in a relationship again. She thought to herself if she is still insecure she will not date until she can find herself.

She contacted Vaughn to make sure he is ok and has been texting him about what he would like to do on the weekends. Vaughn said he likes to play at the arcade and then going for some ice cream after. Later that day a few of the anime club members had contacted them both at the same time and asked if they would like to hang out.

They decided on going to the mall and play at the arcade that was nearby and get some ice cream afterward. The group met up at around ten in the morning and went to a restaurant to eat first before going to the arcade.

Getting together with a group of people made Pamela very nervous and she was so shy that she did not look at anyone. She had no idea what to say to them while everyone was eating their food. After everyone had their fill they walked to the arcade and got the game card before playing any of the games.

Pamela excused herself to the restroom and quickly walked in there to calm down as she was getting too nervous.

Vaughn noticed she seemed agitated and texted her if she was alright, making sure to not get her more upset. She texted back she was just a little bit nervous with so many people around and she will be fine after clearing her head. After calming down she left the restroom and joined the others in playing racing games.

Although she was hesitant to try the games, she still gave it a go at the end and found that it was sort of fun. The next one to try was a dancing game and she had a lot of fun with it as well as other anime club members. After a while of playing, she started to open up a bit more to the club members and ask if anyone wanted to dance with her.

A few of them joined in and they were being kind of silly by having each member have a leg on each arrows. They were mostly stomping around and not really dancing to the music but it was fun for everyone. Pamela decided to be just as silly and ask Vaughn for help in playing against the four members. The game lasted for about ten minutes before everyone started to feel tired and breathing a bit heavy.

Everyone went to go get some drinks leaving behind Pamela and Vaughn sitting inside the karaoke room. She told him that she thinks she is developing more than a crush on him and Vaughn said he felt the same way. The newly couple started to hold each other's hand and blushed a bit.

The group came back with drinks and saw them holding hands and started to tease a little bit as well saying random embarassing things.
