10 Chapter 10: Happy Birthday!

This time upon reaching his house she found out he had moved to another location with his family. She saw that this house had more rooms and one more bathroom as well as a nice looking kitchen. Although the house did not have internet, the family had plenty of console games.

Topias helped Pamela take her things to his room which is at the end of the hallway to the right.

She helped the family clean each room up and helped them cook some of their culture's food. Some of the food looked really delicious, smelled spicy yet, savory and everyone dug into the food with smiling faces. After everyone finished eating their fill she helped clean up the dishes and dried them too.

She and Topias went out to walk around so that she could get more familiarized with the new neighborhood. They saw a liquor store and went in to check out what was in stock because the looked really old and interesting. In the back corner of the store, there were some cool looking old soda bottles and designs. Next to the liquor store are mini-mart, repair tires, cafe, and a few varied fast food restaurants.

With the sight-seeing done for the day, they walked back home holding hands and feeling like the days will only get better from here on out.

Over the course of the next few months, she did her best to bond with the family. At first, they only greeted her whenever she greeted them, but slowly when they got to know her more the more they talked to her. The family started to treat her like she was one of them and she tried harder to get them to like her.

The siblings sometimes ask if Pamela can play and compete with them on some of their games and she agreed. She had some emulator games in her laptop that she shared with them too. They had a fun battle with them and played many role-playing, fighting, adventure, fantasy, and shooting games too.

Seeing that the family treated her well made Pamela feel good that everyone seem to accept her and did not drive her out. She really felt like she belonged somewhere and got happy.

Winter came by quickly and so did their birthdays. The family had prepared a party for the couple at their homes. They brought out a cake with two names on it to save money on the party. They sang happy birthday to Pamela and Topias. After the singing, there were some party games the birthday couple had to accomplish together.

one of the games involve finding their presents that are hidden somewhere around the house and they must find it within thirty minutes. As soon as the time started the couple raced to find their presents. They went around starting from the living room to the kitchen and then to the bedrooms.

Pamela thought to look in each cabinet and the draws while Topias thought it could be near somewhere else. As they searched a few more places before moving onto another room she felt really happy to be celebrating it with everyone. Her cheeks turn slightly red when the family cheered on for them to find their presents.

Still holding hands, the couple started their search in the bedrooms thinking that it might be there. Pamela got more excited thinking that she could keep on having to celebrate their birthdays together like this for a long time. Pamela and Topias searched under the bed and in the closets but have found nothing. About twenty-five minutes later they found their presents hidden somewhere in the garage.

They gathered around the cake to take a family photo and the couple made their wish before blowing out the candle. Pamela wishes that they can always have some happy moments and memories. That night everyone partied hard and got drunk until sunrise.

The next day everyone woke up groggy and tired from their drunken state last night. The cleaning of the whole house took place late in the afternoon. After cleaning, Pamela got her list and read which ones she needed to get for grocery.

As Christmas is coming, everyone got in their good spirits again to celebrate it. Pamela got poppers and everything to help with the decoration. She got some candy canes, gingerbread houses, and some other holiday items too. She got excited about baking desserts as she really loves desserts.

The children were taken to a fun place while everyone else got gifts ready and wrapped under the Christmas tree. She help lit up the Christmas lights and put out the other decorations like the blow-up Santa claus. When all was done the only thing left was baking the food and desserts for the family to enjoy.

That was one of the best holiday party she had with her new family thus far.
