3 The Gaia's New Order (2)

On that day, the Earth was covered with a dense fog and the sun was nowhere to be seen. With the absence of the sun, the environment's temperature should've dropped. But somehow, it manage to stay on the same temperature like the sun was still there and the fog was just an illusion.

This phenomenon caused a lot of confusion. The media outlet all over the world was full packed of business. The internet discussions burst like a raging volcano. And the scientist and researchers were questioned left and right, but no one can give a definite answer.

The fog keep hovering in the sky, without the slightest bit of intention to leave. The sky darkened but the moon and stars didn't came. And on that night, many unusual occurrence happened. The sick was cured, someone was able lit a fire using his breath, and many more but the most shocking was the animals gained a high level of intelligence.

You can imagine how much chaos this phenomenon brought.

And that was the longest night ever happened to the annals of the human history.

Saeran walked towards Hiro, clasped his shoulder then said, "Let's go to gym." Him and Hiro's physique was very weak. In order for them to survive the hurdles that may arise in the future, they need to have a solid foundation first.

Saeran got ignored. Still, he persisted, "I said Hiro, let's go to the gym."

Hiro removed his headphones then he put down the hand from his shoulder.

"Say Saeran, what's with you today?"

"Nothing?"

"No, you've been behaving unusually eversince you woke up this morning. You hugged Sid the moment you saw him like you just saw a dead man came back alive, and you put that ridiculous stance like you can deflect him the moment he attacked you. Are you an idiot? He's way faster and stronger than you, you already knew that you stood no chance. You see, this isn't how you usually behave, you're a meek person who doesn't say much but think too much. But now, I can see your overwhelming confidence beaming in your eyes, like you're an omnipotent person. And you know, gaining that much confidence overnight is an impossible feat, especially when you just been dumped harshly yesterday. Well, unless your skrew got loose, that really explained everything. Also I had no interest on going to the gym with you, you already knew that I'm not fond of exercing. Seriously, got a grip of yourself man, that's just a woman, it's doesn't worth ruining your mental health."

Of all the words that Hiro said, Saeran didn't minded too much that Hiro mostly guessed the thruth and that he already sensed something off about how he behaved after only an hour passed. What really made his mind go numb was the information about him being dumped yesterday.

Saeran was only dumped by a girl once, and that was only a day before the apocalypse happened! Fuck! He thought he had still a lot of time but to prepare, he never thought that it would come this soon!

A week is plenty enough but why only gave him a day!?

Okay, there's no point whining over things that already happened.

His eyes glimmered with urgency, he now grabbed both of Hiro's shoulders, and pressed it quite forcefully. "Say, do you know where can we get some guns? Muggled ones will do."

Hiro was shocked momentarily, he didn't expected that his friend's mentality was not that strong that he broke after just a single heartbreak, as a result, he wanted to do criminal acts now.

"You've gone crazy, don't pull me down with you." Hiro removed Saeran's hands on his shoulders again, he attempted to set his headphones back but Saeran blocked it.

"Dude, I'm damn serious here. Do I look like I'm joking? Let's wait for Sid to come out, I'm going to say something really really important."

"What's that really really important that you wanted to say?" Saeran looked at the man who's the owner of that deep voice.

"Good you're done already." He stood up, brought another chair and made Sid sat on it.

"Okay?" Sid looked at Saeran weirdly, 'what's with him?' he thought. 'Is he really gone gay, to me?'

Saeran sensed the weird look that Sid gave him, yet he just ignored it. Of course, if he knew the reason why Sid is looking at him that way, maybe this chapter will get longer.

After Saeran took his own sit, the three Senior High School men looked at each other. The atmosphere was pretty eerie, everyone had their own thoughts, one was just curious, the other was guessing that maybe someone is going to come out of the closet and the last one was arranging his speech.

It didn't took long before Saeran broke it.
