4 Adventurers guild
Shiro spent his time on the road hunting and taking it easy. trying to get used to his new magical abilities he just bought a few days ago. he didn't go full speed, he just walked all the way there for 2 whole days. now he is sitting in a tree not far away from the town. it has huge walls with giant crossbows on top and has guards and mages on the walls and 2 guards by the gate into the town. from what he can tell the guards outside guarding the gate where there to collect an entering fee unless you were part of the adventures guild and had a guild card.

5 minutes later and shiro was already wearing his new black cloak and silver mask with his hood up.
shiro walked up to the gate and when he but 5 feet from the guards.
"stop right there no closer" guard A
"why are you wearing a mask" guard B
"because half my face is burnt and it doesn't look pleasing to the eye" shiro. he lied so that no one would remember his face.
"ok, well you still have to pay the entrance fee its 1 copper coin" guard A
shiro pulled his hand out from his cloak and flicked his finger and 2 copper coins flew through the air and landed in the guards hands. they were shocked.
"keep the change, oh and while i'm here do you mind pointing me in the direction of the adventures guild" shiro
"sure, just follow the main road and you will see it along the way. it's a huge building, real nice and have sign on the door, you can't miss it" guard B
"thanks, have a nice day. " shiro
shiro walked along the main street until he came across the guild building then walked in. there where people everywhere, mostly next to the job board or the guild store tho. shiro walked up to the front desk and the attendant looked up and saw him she was shocked because he wore a mask.
"How may i help you sir" attendant
"I would like to resister to become a member" shiro
"why of course, it will cost you 5 silver coin sir and proof that your a warrior or mage" attendant
shiro then exchanged some system points for coins then took them from his inventory then handed them to the attendant. he then lifted his right hand and black lightning started to buzz around his hand for a minute then he stopped.
everyone was shocked when they saw this including the attendant. no one has seen black lightning before.
"so is this enough proof" shiro
"why, yes sir it is" attendant
the attendant put her hand under the desk and when it returned she handed shiro a form with a pen and ink.
"please sir fill out this form" attendant
when shiro got the form he was kinda surprised at first. it was a normal form with questions such as name or home city/town/village. what made him surprised tho was the question asking him what magic he uses. obviously he couldn't put all the magic he could do down on the form. if he did the people would think he was a monster, plus everyone knows its good to have a trump-card.
"system what does it mean what magic i use cant everyone learn any magic, if so then why ask at all." shiro
[ host, although you are correct that everyone can learn any kind of magic, people in this world are born with special aptitudes or talents. these talents can help people learn that kind of magic or skill faster than others. each talent has different levels/ranks and each level/rank has a sub-class. the levels/ranks proceed from one star to three star and the sub-classes go from low, mid, and high. so someone with a three star mid rank talent for fire magic will practice faster than someone with a one star low rank talent for fire.]
[ and there are exceptions for this rule such as spacial magic, healing magic, summoning magic, druid magic and spirit magic. these magics are special such as they are rare. sometimes people become lucky when they are born and are born with one of these while others are special because they are born into a family with a bloodline for that magic. the more pure the bloodline the higher the talent for the magic within the bloodline. the most common talents within this world are of the five elements.]
[ for magic such as time magic, gravity magic, dimensional magic or void magic you must first understand the world law of that magic. the higher the understanding of the law, the higher your talent in that magic. as for nullification magic it is not yet known within this world. if host ever has to reveal it or talk about it it is advised you say you used sound magic to distort and vibrate the opponents magic to cancel it out.]
shiro was slightly shocked yet quickly came out of it when he noticed the attendant looking at him. he filled in the form with his real name because he is joining the adventures guild and didn't want a fake name on his guild card. on the home city/town/village question he answered he didn't know because well he couldn't explain to people he was from another world plus kids get kidnapped all the time and then when they escape they never want to talk about it again, and finally for his magic, sense he already showed his black lightning to the attendant he put it down but with a cooler name. Lightning reaper magic, because when used its like a reaper coming to take your life.
He then handed the form back to the attendant to looked at it for a minute to make sure everything was filled out then looked back up at him.
"sir if you would please wait here while i retrieve your guild starting items" attendant.
she then turned around and vanished into the door behind her. a few minutes later she came back with a card that had his name on it and a necklace that looked to have a iron diamond on it.
"system what is the necklace for." shirp
[ host that necklace shows your rank within the guild. iron is the lowest and in order to rise within the ranks you have to do missions for the guild. seeing as your an iron rank adventurer, in order to become copper rank you have to do 20 iron level missions.]
"ok sir here is your guild card and guild badge to show your rank within the guild" attendant
shiro then waved his hand and the two items disappeared. when the attendant saw this she was kind of shocked. he was a mage yet he was so fast she couldn't see him. well thats what she thought because spacial mages where rare and he didn't put it on his form.
"thank you." shiro spoke politely.
he then turned to walked to the mission board. before he even started to walk tho the attendant spoke again.
"sir, if you dont mind me asking, why are you wearing a mask." attendant
everyone in the guild hall then turned to shiro because of this interesting question and they wanted to know the answer. shiro then turned back to the attendant who when saw this took a step back.
"well i don't wear this mask to scare people if thats what you think. I wear it because of my face, half of my face is burnt and isn't pleasant to look at. are there anymore questions from anyone else here before i get back to my business." shiro answered and asked in a polite tone.
suddenly as mysterious voices came from above.
"yes i have a question" mysterious voice
everyone including me then looked up to the second floor balcony and there stands a man looking about 40 at most with green eyes and short brown hair.
"guild master ? " attendant
"ok then ask" shiro
"what was that black lightning you showed earlier" guild master
"oh that. thats just a magic i created by combining two different magic types."
when the guild master heard this he was both surprised and shocked but he also had a hint of interested mixed in.
"oh made by combining magic types, thats quite hard to do. what do you call this new magic." guild master
" I call it lightning reaper magic." shiro
"lightning reaper magic, thats an interesting name why did you name it that." guild master
"well because the black lightning has three times the piercing effect of regular lightning. its also three time faster. as of yet i have not found something it can not pierce through. in fact on the way here i ran into some bandits and there leader used lightning magic too. my lightning sliced through his like butter. I name it lightning reaper magic because when i use it on the living it is as if a reaper is after your life and there no way away from it." shiro
when the guild master heard this he was shocked the lightning was strong. very strong.
"ok i have just one last question" guild master
"ok" shiro
"you said you created it combining two different magic types and as lightning is obviously one of them, what is the other." guild master
when the guild master said this everyone was interested in the answer.
"well guild master this is where it gets interesting. the other element i used is darkness , and as such my black lightning can travel through shadows without being seen." shiro
shiro then turned around and walked to the mission board, ripping a notice down he then signed up for this mission and walked out of the guild hall.
