Chapter 1- Reincarnation

Lexi ran down the alley trying to get as far as possible from the people chasing after her, turning to a corner she tried checking if her pursuers were nearby when she tripped and hit her head on the nearby building.

Blood gushed out from the wound but she stood up and continued running, the blood kept entering her eyes while running and she felt dizzy due to the loss of blood so she entered a car she saw and got inside, she could hear their voices coming closer to where she was before she passed out.

Opening her eyes, she could see that she was inside a car,"Shit!! I shouldn't have taken too much drinks, note to self: Do not drink again…well, maybe not as much as i took last night".

She opened the door and got out and started moving towards an open place so that she could ask someone for directions when she felt a sharp pain in her head. Memories that weren't hers kept on entering her head.

She was confused about what was happening to her and tried to massage her forehead to help with the pain, when she touched her forehead, she felt something rough, it felt painful when she touched it so she moved to a nearby car to check her face.

"Ahh..what the fuck is wrong with my face, and why does my face look different and why do i sound different?" She really felt like fainting and she was confused about what was going on.

She had read about situations like this in novels but she didn't expect it to happen to her in reality. Reincarnation, she thought. She felt awkward in the body and couldn't help but groan in frustration.

She then peeled part of the substance on her face. She didn't understand how the original owner had died as that memory was extremely fuzzy so she gave up on trying to remember.

'Since I'm here, I might as well live a new life' she thought

She then stood by the roadside trying to stop a Taxi so that she could go to where the original owner was staying at.

She looked at the car near her, using the driver's car glass as a mirror trying to tidy up when the car side window went down revealing a very pretty face"Can i help you??" Lexi was stunned by how pretty the girl looked and didn't answer until when the girl snapped her finger

"Sorry miss, can you please tell me where this place is" the girl looked at her with suspicion written all over her face. When she saw the dried substance, she became even more cautious.

"Don't tell me you dont know the popular Felingo street, everyone knows here, Even people from other countries know here".

Lexi feigned a cough "I actually know here but I was just trying to start a conversation with you, by the way, I am Lexi White" the girl looked at her face again before her eyes showed signs of recognition, "Miss White, I'm sorry I didn't recognize you earlier, do you need a ride home?". The girl said while hoping that Lexi would refuse.

Lexi merely nodded since she couldn't understand why the girl's facial expressions changed just by hearing the owner's body's name, since she didn't really have the full memories of the original body and she only just had fragments of memories, she decided to forget it, she told the girl her address before entering the car.

"so uhmm…what's your name?" the girl was shocked but didn't show it on her face, " My name is Rose, I work in your company ma'am".

Lexi nodded before looking out the window looking at the unfamiliar view that was somehow familiar too, it was weird to her. Ten minutes later,the car finally stopped at her house, getting down she thanked Rose before getting down from the car and going towards the direction of ger house.

The guards at the gate recognized her despite how she looked like and allowed her in.

Opening the door, she was wowed by how the original body's house which was now her house looked like.

It looked exactly how she wanted her house to look like in her past life, she looked around the house and was happy with everything she saw that she couldn't help but nod in approval.

She then sat down on the couch and started to think about everything that had happened trying to make sense of it, she later gave up and took her bath, making sure to scrub the dried blood on her face.

Making a decision to go to the hospital to treat the injury on her face, she finally relaxed in the bath. Coming out of the bathroom, she sat in the front of the vanity mirror and was stunned because she couldn't find the cut on her face,she couldn't even find any scar at all, she didn't freak out because she was already getting used to all the weird things happening to her that day. Without the blood and dirt on her face, she looked absolutely gorgeous without makeup.

Her white supple skin was a no-brainer to her, her skin had never been so soft and white. He lips looked red that it looked like it was bleeding. Her lashes so long, they actually looked artificial.

She kept on staring at her face for a long time without blinking, she smiled and saw dimples and couldn't help but scream in joy.

Why you may ask, she was a sucker for pretty faces and the icing on the cake was when they also had dimples but now, she had them both, the pretty face and the dimples, she was so happy "well, maybe this reincarnation isn't bad after all,sigh, i wonder how my people in my past life are faring'
