#75-You Are A Shameless Man!

After getting information from Jellal, Edmund Gerwyn seemed to lose his mind.

The Duke left all his work and ran outside the mansion. He was about to pick up Penelope but Jellal stopped him by saying that Penelope was on her way back to the mansion with Ethan Askary. If Edmund went to that restaurant, Jellal was afraid the Duke would miss the Duchess. Edmund really couldn't just accept Jellal's explanation because of the fear and worry that overtook him. However, he tried to be patient and calm himself down.

When the carriage with the Gerwyn family crest appeared, Edmund immediately ran and opened the carriage door in one swift movement. He let Ethan Askary come out while carrying Penelope, who was half awake and seemed to be having trouble breathing, then took over the weak and fragile body of his Duchess. As he ran, Edmund took Penelope to their room and laid her carefully on the bed.
