Chapter 19 : An Yifan Is An Executive Vice President of Pharmacy Company

An Yifan put his cell phone back into his pants pocket, then turned to look at Shao Feng who was still watching An Yifan.

Seeing Shao Feng who continued to stare at him with focus made An Yifan feel a little awkward. In An Yifan's mind, he thought that maybe Shao Feng was curious about his conversation on the phone earlier.

"That's my father." An Yifan said breaking the silence.

Shao Feng took a deep breath and smiled stiffly. Of course she knew that it was his father, cause An Yifan kept mentioning 'Father' on the phone.

'This man really doesn't know how to find a topic of conversation.' Shao Feng thought.

"I heard you talking about Daichi Ginseng earlier. If I may ask, what did you and your father talk about ginseng?"

"Uh, Daichi Ginseng! My father said the stock of raw materials at the factory had decreased. He said that ginseng is becoming increasingly rare in this country, so he told me to look for an importer from abroad."

"Is overseas still available?" Shao Feng asked.

"Of course. In Japan and Korea, many entrepreneurs cultivate ginseng. Why do you ask?" An Yifan said as he continued to make eye contact with Shao Feng.

An Yifan liked the atmosphere in Shao Feng's house. Even though the house was ugly and poor, all the rooms in it looked clean and tidy. No noise and commotion either.

When he entered Shao Feng's house, he felt like he was returning to his hometown.

"I want to know a lot about ginseng and other medicinal plants." Shao Feng replied to An Yifan's question.

Shao Feng's answer immediately caught An Yifan's attention. An Yifan looked at Shao Feng with a beaming expression,

"You asked the right person! I am an Executive Vice President of a pharmaceutical company. Looks like I can help you a lot. Feel free to ask for my help." An Yifan smiled kindly at Shao Feng.

When she found out that An Yifan was a Executive Vice President of a pharmaceutical company, Shao Feng couldn't help but gape in amazement.

From the moment when she met An Yifan, she had the feeling that An Yifan came from a well-known rich family. She didn't know that An Yifan was a Executive Vice President of a pharmaceutical company.

Seeing the look on Shao Feng's face that looked shocked and surprised made An Yifan chuckle. To him, Shao Feng looked very cute with such a facial expression.

"HAHA, Shao Feng! I swear I didn't expect you who is a cool and calm girl could be so cute like that." An Yifan laughed while holding his stomach which was cramping from the pressure of his breath.

Shao Feng reflex neutralized the look on her face and put on a graceful flat face again. She then asked in a graceful tone,

"Yifan, can I visit your factory? I want to know more about medicinal plants." Shao Feng said softly.

"Woah, now you're starting to call me by nicknames, huh. That's great, HAHAHA. Anyway, let's go now if you're really curious. My real purpose in coming here was actually to take you out for a walk." An Yifan said expectantly, expecting Shao Feng to accept his invitation.

Shao Feng felt a little ticklish when she saw the strange smile on An Yifan's face. This man beside her was too aggressive towards her, it made Shao Feng feel a little uncomfortable. But remembering her purpose regarding ginseng made Shao Feng try to be as friendly as possible.

"Alright, let's go now. But I want to change clothes first. It's impossible for me to go to the factory with a school uniform."

An Yifan nodded while smiling happily.

Seeing An Yifan's approval, Shao Feng immediately stood up and walked into her room. She quickly changed her clothes and hid the Phoenix Furnace in the Storage Bag, then kept the Storage Bag in a safe place that no one else would know about.

After changing clothes, now Shao Feng was ready with a white pleated skirt that was as short as a thigh and a short-sleeved black t-shirt. Shao Feng was also wearing a white sling bag. It made her look like a modern teenage girl.

Shao Feng walked out of her room to approach An Yifan. When An Yifan saw Shao Feng's appearance, he didn't even blink for a moment in amazement.

Shao Feng's straight blonde hair fell neatly with bangs adorning her face.

"Yifan, we can go now." Shao Feng said breaking the silence.

An Yifan suddenly woke up from his daydream. He then asked Yu Ran for permission to take Shao Feng to visit his factory.

Yu Ran looked surprised when finding out that An Yifan was a Executive Vice President of a company. Her mind was focused on the question that was in her mind.

How could her daughter be friends with a respected rich person like An Yifan?
