6 Working With F4

Peter woke up and felt his body sore. He found himself in a room which equipped with medicines and others. He saw that he is not wearing his costume but a t-shirt and jogging pants. It's fortunate that he was wearing his webbing bracelet. He tried to sit but in the process, he experienced pain.

Yeah, sure he have a healing factor but it was slow so Peter could only sit down and wait for his body to complete his healing. He couldn't mostly remember what happened. He only remembered him helping the F4 (Fantastic 4) from the attack of Doom but didn't know what happened later.

He could only hope that the F4 was the one who put him in the room and not the other villains. After a few minutes of waiting, the door finally opened revealing Reed.

"Hello, Peter Parker. Although I'm surprised to know that you're only 15, I'm deeply impressed by you wanting to become a hero at a young age." said Reed while handing a glass of water to Peter.

"Who are you?" asked Peter acting dumb.

"I'm Reed Richards, or rather Mr. Fantastic in suit. So, let's proceed to my first question. How did you come up with the superhero name spiderman?" asked Reed curiously.

"Well, would you believe me if I said I'm bitten by it and grant me a superhuman abilities."

"Nice try Peter, but not funny."

"That spider is not an ordinary spider. It was a radioactive spider that bit me. It makes me strong, fast, and quite muscular and also grants me a healing factor but that doesn't includes the webbing." answered Peter.

"Then, if it only makes you physically stronger, how come you can produce that webbing?"

"What would you call the white sticky thing while in puberty?" said Peter and showed Reed the bracelet.

"Don't try to test my patience, Peter."

"I made it. I invented a device. Then, how about Doom?"

"Victor? He escaped after you destroyed the computer that can make the portal. I'm sure he will come back again after recovering. Thank you for your help."

"Fuck that flame ass. He clearly doesn't think that he will burn the webbing doesn't he?

"Who? Johnny? It's his personality. He act before he thinks."

"Fine, I forgive him but I wanna call my aunt. She will worry about me."

"Don't worry about your aunt. I called her and said you will sleep over in your friend's house. Here contact them." said Reed while handing a phone. Peter sighed in relief and contacted them. After ensuring them that he is fine, they finally let him go.

"Having trouble of explaining? Why don't you just say that you're spiderman?" asked Reed.

"Hell no, they will surely freak out if I told them and maybe even not allowing me to swing again." said Peter as he got up in the bed. He was finally fully healed.

"You know? Maybe you can work with us. With your genius mind, you can create some devices that can help the government." offered Reed.

"Is there any money involved? Yeah?" said Peter after thinking for a while.

"Well, we can pay you." answered Reed.

"Okay, fine. I need money, anyways." answered Peter.

"Great! I'll fix your lab later. Let's meet the others first." said Reed and go to the living room while Peter silently followed.

When they arrived, what greeted them is Ben chasing Johnny while Susan is just sitting.

"Flame butt, come here. Give me that pizza!"shouted Ben chasing Johnny.

"Come and get it if you can!!!" said Johnny while running around.

"Children." commented Susan while sitting in the sofa watching TV. Reed is frustrated to see Johnny and Ben acting childish while Peter is amused.

"Stop being childish! You two! Spiderman will work with us!" shouted Reed stopping both Ben and Johnny and looking at Peter.

"Really?" they both asked which made Peter nod his head.

"Whoa!!! Cool man! You stopped Doom from getting into that portal!" said Johnny jumping like a kid going to Peter.

"Yeah, and thank you for letting him escape. I really want thank you." said Peter while staring at Johnny. Johnny awkwardly scratched his head and apologize.

"Sorry, I will not do it again. Anyways, I'm Johnny Storm. Your Human Torch. The bald head man there is Ben Grimm, The Thing. The woman there is my sister, Susan Storm. Your Invisible Woman and maybe you already know the man beside you." introduces Johnny who get a glare from Ben.

"Hello, you can call me Ben."

"Sue. Call me Sue." only said Susan...Erm...Sue.

"Hello." said Peter and they chatted until lunch. Luckily, it is weekends so there are no classes so Peter spent his time with them and familiarizing himself in his new lab where his ripped costume was hanged.

Peter then spent his afternoon making his new costume. He have unlimited resources in his new lab so he made a costume is a bullet proof and can be able to retract if there are changes that occurs with his body. He also make sure that it can protect himself with the attack of lightning so that it will not harm him.

His mask was a bit tricky one to do. He made add changes in it like put an AI which he named Stan (in memories of Stan Lee). He made a head band that functions as telepathy disruptor. The mask is not a cloth but like a thin helmet that was covering his head and can be transformed as a cap if not using it.

He upgrades the web shooter not making it metal in case he encountered magneto and made a function electric webbing that can stun enemy if needed to escape.

After making sure that the costume was good, he packed it up in his school bag and go home.

Arriving at home in 5 p.m

"Peter! Where did you go! I nearly had a heart attack." scolded May.

"I already said it. I went to my friend's place." lied Peter. He received a long scolding that evening and only manage to calm May at night while Ben just keep silent. After eating, he decided to rest and try his new suit after school in the next night.

Midtown High...

"Hey, Pete." said Harry catching up with Peter.

"Hey, Harry. What's up?" asked Peter as he stopped waiting for Harry.

"Nothing much. So, how is the relationship thing?" asked Harry.

"Well, no progress."

"Dude, you better make a move now! What if someone will confess to her? What will you do?" asked Harry.

"Bro, take it easy. I will think about it first." said Peter.

"Up to you to get her. Anyways, I have to probably get going now. See ya!" said Harry as he run across the hallway. Peter just shook his head and head to his room.

What greeted him was Flash trying to flirt with Felicia. Peter rolled his eyes on him. He already have a Liz Allen and also tried to get Felicia. Really a playboy. Peter pitied Liz, but he decided against it considering how Liz treat him badly.

"Hey, beautiful. How are you?" said Flash as he sat in Felicia's desk.

"Can you please shut up and got up from my desk? I really don't tolerate a guy like you." said Felicia while staring at Flash annoyed. Their classmates laughed at Flash while Flash immediately got up in embarrassment and get out of the room.

'Flash, Flash, Flash. Learn to be contenteded. There's no harem in modern world.' thought Peter as he chuckle.
