Reincarnation of the Goddess of Death

Jin Yun felt an unbearable pain in her chest as a sharp sword pierced through it. She opened her mouth to say something but no sound came out of it. The deathly poison showed it's effect and her throat became dry, her whole body ached as if thousands of forts had been hammered into it. A single tear roll down from her bloodshot eyes and she slowly lost her consciousness.

She seemed to have fallen into a deep slumber. she was once a princess love and pampered, she was like a lotus flower with a sweet smile on her lips. But her innocent smile didn't last long as the evil king of the neighboring country invited the royal family on the pretext of peace by deceit and took the country under his control by killing them cruelly.

At that time, she the princess had gone on a tour of the country in disguise, due to which only she was able to survive in the end. After losing her family, loved ones and country, she matured and aged a lot in a single night. The innocent smile on her lips gradually became indifferent and the gleam in her eyes turned into ice cold ruthlessness.

She swored that she would not to let the death of her loved ones go in vain, she would take revenge and win her country back again.

Since childhood, she was considered a genius in martial arts, sword fighting, war policy and many things. After she lost everything, she first made herself strong and powerful. She bathed her sword with the blood of thousands of corrupt people who were destroying the country, after taking many lives she found people calling her as the leader of the bandits.

When she felt that she was the capable enough to win her country back, she waged a war against the evil king. In the battlefield, her sword used to bring the message of death and went away by cutting off the heads of enemies. Be it the soldier or the commander or the emperor himself, on seeing a glimpse of her frightening figure, they used to uncontrollably trembled with fear.

Riding on a black horse, covered in golden armor, she was like the goddess of death, holding two swords covered in blood, shining like silver who seemed to be possessed by the devil himself. She killed every single person who betrayed her country and supported the evil king. And at the last she brutally crushed the evil king's head under her feet and without any mercy, she drew her sword through his chest and killed him.

After regaining her country, she showed a new direction of progress to her subjects as the new Lady Emperor. Under her leadership the country regained its pride and glory. She was both worshipped and feared by her subjects at the same time. Her fame as the goddess of death spread far and wide and aroused the fear and supremacy of her intimidating figure in the heart of many emperors of another countries.

Seeing the admiration for another female emporer in the hearts of their own subjects other emporers grew jealous day by day. To be intimidated and surrender to a woman they feel like their ego and pride had been crushed to dust. Hence many evil and cunning emperors joined hands with each other and started laying the trap of Jin Yun's death.

The saddest part is that her own closest confidant played a major role in her murder trap. He took advantage of Jin Yun's trust and fed her with deadly poison. The sword that once used to kill the enemy with her on the battlefield, he pierced her chest with the same sword.

The goddess of death, who did not give even a single chance for her enemy to attack back in the past, waited for her death after being betrayed by her own confidant. The pain of being betrayed by her own people was more painful than the pain in her chest.

At that moment she just closed her eyes and waited for the Garim Reaper to take her away. But even after waiting for a long time, no one came. Then she felt the pain in her chest gradually subsided and she started feeling unbearable pain in her head.

She made several unsuccessful attempts to open her eyes, and after a long time, she finally felt the strength to slowly opened her stuffy eyelids. Her vision was blurry and she could not see anything clearly and could only saw a slight white light.

Seeing the whiteness all around, she thought that she was dead and now in heaven. But then she wondered a person like her who was cruel and ruthless, who didn't even bet an eyelid while killing thousands of people, what was she doing in heaven?

Soon she found the answer to her question when a nurse came inside the ward holding a tray with different medicines.

"Miss you're awake. Wait let me call the doctor right away." she said and hurried out of the word.

Jin Yun realised that the woman who just entered, her clothes and way of talking were very strange and after observing the surrounding she felt that this place where she was doesn't seem like any kind of heaven, but a complete different world.

She unconsciously touched her chest but she felt no pain, there was not even a wound or a sign of a sword being inserted. Then she felt a sharp pain in her head and touched her forehead, which was tied with gauze.

The she looked at her white slander arms which were as fair as ice unlike her tanned skin after so much hardship. She touched her long silky black hair fallen on her shoulder and an absurd idea came to her mind.

No she was not dead yet.

She was still alive.

Has she been reborn ?

In the very next moment many memories started coming into her mind one after the other in which she found herself in her teenage in those memories but those memories were of someone else and not hers.

The girl in those memories also named Jin Yun and looked exactly like her. She lost her parents when she was only 5 years old in a car accident and was then adopted by her second uncle and aunt. According to her parent's will all their properties and business will be handled by her caretaker until her 20th birthday and she can only transfer her property to her husband after her marriage if she wants and if anything happend to her during this period everything will be donated to the trust.

Therefore her second uncle and aunt raised her as a good for nothing and made her completely dependent on them they planned to keep her unmarried at home and enjoy the luxury left by her parents. She was bullied by her sister and brother who were actually her cousins. She was a foolish innocent girl who wanted their love and did whatever they told her to do. Being bullied and despised by everyone she thought that this was her fate for being a good-for-nothing until she accidentally learned the truth on her 19th birthday and ran away from home. On her way she met an accident and lost her life.

After Jin Yun registered all the memories of the original owner in her mind she was now sure that God has blessed her with another chance to live and she was now reborn in another world, different from her time and space.
