17 Dragon Slayer

Everyone goes towards Lux who was barely standing with the last little amount of strength he had left with him. Nobody really understood what really had happened and where the Drake had disappeared. They gather around Lux and everyone rests for a while.

"What happened to the Drake it was just there a moment ago? What kind of spell did you use ?"

"Well to explain it in simple words, I sealed it in my soul realm. It should hold him off for a while but, the consequence of sealing such a powerful creature is also harsh. I need to constantly deal with him in my soul realm, so even my cultivation will be ruined if I can't control him." Lux answers Killian explaining him about soul seal clearly.

"It's actually that bad. Will you be able to hold it off ?" Alice asks after listening to Lux's explanation. She will feel really guilty if Lux won't be able to cultivate because of them.

"Don't worry it will be a piece of cake" Lux says laughing at this matter. Even though he was laughing, he clearly knew that it would be somewhat hard for him to deal with the Hell Dragon in his soul realm.

After resting for a while and discussing their battle techniques, they get out from the Dungeon. Even though Lux couldn't get the one thing he came here for, it had already been around nighttime in the real world so, they had to stop their journey over here for today.

He was really confused on why he didn't get the Sword of hell flames. He even started doubting if he was in a different world from his previous one. In his previous life, the sword of Hell Flames had been found here and was reported to the military. At that time, even though this legendary item went in the hands of many experts and legend rank mages, no one could bring out its full potential.

In this life however, he wanted to give this sword to Gilbert to boost his development and also make him master this sword. If someone truly mastered it, they would become a very fierce and powerful mage in the future. As Gilbert had the Phoenix Flames in him which was found in only one out of 200 heirs of the Heterox family, Lux had thought that if Gilbert mastered it, he could even make this a God rank weapon.

Also, the fact that Lux had not heard about the news regarding the Hell Dragon in his previous life while he found it in this life was very amusing. This should not have happened unless he found a different pathway of this dungeon or the ones who had reported them about this dungeon had sold the real information to the enemy nations.

Just thinking about it made Lux mad. If he had known about this issue from the start, then he would never have raided this dungeon. He still knew some other dungeons which had not been discovered yet, so he would have gone there. He only chose this place because it was the nearest to them right now.

There were 3 other dungeons in Siren city. 2 were advanced rank and one was master rank. THe Advanced rank dungeons could be successfully raided with a team of about 10 advanced rank mages. While, raiding the master rank dungeon required 15 master rank mages and it was currently impossible for advanced ranks to clear it.

But, the dungeon Lux and his group had raided right now could be considered a legend rank dungeon just because of the appearance of the Hell Dragon. If it was in its dragon form then, even Lux could not have sealed him using soul seal.

After reaching the city, everyone goes towards their own home. Alice and Gilbert stayed near the center of the whole city as both their families were noble ones having great influence in the city and even in the military. Crystal's family also used to stay there before but, due to their decline in power they had to stay in the outer regions of the city.

After Lux reached his home, he quickly went to his room and entered his soul realm. The moment he entered his soul realm, the temperature over there was really hot. Lux's soul realm was like the universe itself with darkness shrouding him from all sides and stars could be seen faraway like a starry night sky.

Anyone who came here would never want to leave this place and would just love to gaze upon this beautiful scenery for eternity. Lux also could not help be marvel at this scenery even though he visited this realm like everyday. He would have gazed upon it for more time but, there was one more thing that needed to be done before he could cultivate in this realm.

Right before him was a hot scorching ball of flame that looked like a miniature sun itself.

"So, it has already gone through the transformation to its dragon form." Lux says to himself looking at the miniature sun before him.

As he approaches the sun like a ball, it suddenly bursts out with tremendous force. Magnificent yet terrifying flames quickly surround it making it look like the flames were holding the hell dragon in the center like a mother holding her baby.

Roar!!!

Suddenly, a loud roar comes out from inside of the flames. From inside there, one could see a large creature with wings and dragon scales surrounding its body. It had a red appearance and instead of the flames burning it, it looked like the flames made a beautiful dress and crown for it making it look like the king of flames. It had a frightening aura that itself could make millions bow down before it.

But, Lux was not like those millions. Even if he didn't have the physique or mana capacity like his previous life, his soul and mind were still from his previous life. His soul itself radiated an immense aura that made the aura of the dragon having a physical body seem like nothing.

"Huh? How can a mere human have such a great aura? And that's not even coming from your physical body but, just from your soul. How strong would the person be with his physical body ?" The Hell Dragon before Lux suddenly started talking with a faint voice.

"Oh I see you've finally regained your senses." Lux said unsurprised of the dragon before him talking.

"Huh? How can you have such an aura ? You are also just a child and a beginner rank." The Hell Dragon before him was really surprised by such a discovery.

It looked around its surroundings and saw darkness surrounding it from everywhere with stars that were faraway giving a certain shine. Even the dragon was bewitched by such a magnificent scenery.

"Well, I will explain about everything to you in a while. We have a lot of time one our plate now so, let's start with introductions." Lux said as his lips curled upwards showing a smile that said everything was going as he had expected.

Even the mighty hell Dragon who made thousands of people bow down to it in fear was dumbstruck looking at the kid in front of him. Was the kid not scared of him? And what was the aura that was radiating from this kid ? It decided on the fact that this kid was not as simple as he seemed like and just followed his lead to see what had happened.

"I'm Lux and right now, we are in my soul realm. I have sealed you in my realm using Soul Seal." Lux introduced himself telling the dragon before him about his surroundings.

"Huh? Soul Seal ? Isn't that the lost technique made by the Water God Mytheris ?" The dragon suddenly panicked as he remembered the feats of the water god he had once fought during his lifetime. It was that person who had sealed him in that dungeon for more than a millennium. He could not comprehend how this kid knew such a technique.

'Has humanity really gotten so strong after I got sealed ? If even a kid like this is so powerful then I wonder how powerful a god rank right now would be ?' The Hell Dragon felt chills just thinking about that possibility.

He looked at Lux who was standing before him like he was expecting something from him.

"Oh yes. I am Gabell the Hell dragon. Although you might not know about it I was once feared by all the races as one of the 6 Dragon Kings" Gabell introduced himself with some sort of a proud pose.

"Ahh Gabell, is it ? So, let me fill you in on the information of how you arrived here." Lux said as he began explaining the whole scenario of Gabell being in his drake form when Lux sealed him in his soul realm.

They also discussed many other things like how far humanity had progressed and the whereabouts of the Black Dragon God Olethros who once had been his master. Right now, he was a free dragon that was just doing whatever he liked. Lux was also dumbfounded by Gabell's behavior. He didn't know that one of the rumored Dragon Kings was so friendly and wonderful.

"Are all the other Dragon kings like you ? I didn't know that one of the Dragon Kings is so friendly." Lux quickly inquires of Gabell with his questions.

"Well if I really had to tell you once during the time when we had conquered the world along with Olethros, we actually had followed him due to fear. Later on, he had control over us so much that we had to destroy nations and prove our destruction capabilities. Only because of that, I had become a dragon king. Anyone who disobeyed him would surely die. But, I don't think the other dragon kings are like me. They had already become really evil after causing all that destruction and were just one step below Olethros himself. Good thing you met me." Gabell sighs remembering those days of his life.

"Ohh" Lux also gains good insight on what kind of creatures the other Dragon Kings and what kind of a terrifying force the Black Dragon God was.

"So, anyways I would like to form a contract with you Gabell." Lux says after thinking about it for a while.

Gabell becomes dumbfounded by listening to Lux's request. Not only was this kid not afraid of him but, he also wanted to form a contract with him. Really, who was this person called Lux ? A contract with a dragon lets both the person and the dragon grow and also, the person who made the contract could use a little of the dragon's power. This kind of power was known as the Dragon Slaying Power.

One of the 10 gods present during Gabell's early life was also one such dragon slayer. He was so powerful that he could use almost all of the Dragon's power and one time had even gone berserk after turning into a dragon himself. Although the Dragon Slaying power was really powerful, if the Slayers couldn't hold this power, they would become a dragon themselves. But, at that time, the water god Mytheris had used a spell to turn him back to a human. But, right now there was absolutely no one as powerful as her, so this was a really dangerous power to hold.

Gabell looked at Lux who had unbeatable confidence in him. Really where did he get such massive confidence ? Looking at Lux, who seemed like he could control it like nothing, Gabell laughed remembering a certain person he had met in the past.

'This kid is just like him. It would be fun looking at what heights this kid will manage to reach.' Thinking this, Gabell made his decision.

"Then OK. Considering you know about Dragon Slaying powers, let's form the contract."

"Dragon Slayer Contract Begin" Lux says as he touches Gabell and they both begin to glow slowly, they both feel their consciousness shared with each other. They had successfully formed a contract and their thinking too had been connected.
