As the sun rose over the horizon and the light bathed a small city a young man woke up with a groggy expression. He had the appearance of an average teen around 15-16 years of age with medium-length brown hair and emerald green eyes. After coming to his senses his expression turned sour as he saw the glimpse of sunlight that had snuck through the blinds and glared right at his face.

This was certainly not the best way to wake up, but after a quick moment, he came to a startling realization.

'Isn't the window in my room facing away from the sunrise?'

Quickly after noticing the oddity he looked around the room and realized he was not where he was supposed to be, not at all.

After realizing he was not where he was supposed to be he soon realized he was not who he was supposed to be either. Quickly he thought of many possible explanations.

'Isekai? Transmigration? Cool! Do I hope I am a rich young master with beautiful maids and many admirers!'

Right as he was thinking of all the amazing possibilities he heard a strong manly voice.

"Bai Xiang get down here right now!"

Instantly although it was not clear the fresh transmigrator instantly felt like the man named Bai Xiang was him, and if his parent was yelling his full name it could only mean he was in trouble! What had this guy done previously to get called down so early in the morning?

Instead of getting any memories when he arrived he was fresh out of luck and could essentially be considered as having possessed the original boy's body.

Despite the trepidation caused by being in a new place Bai Xiang quickly got dressed and headed out of the room in the direction he heard the voice earlier from.

After a few steps, he arrived at a room with a table with three chairs, sitting on one chair was a man with a gruff but sturdy appearance who would soon be considered middle-aged. Although he was not particularly handsome he had a strong and reliable look, it could be assumed he was Bai Xiang's father.

Upon arriving in the room the man looked up from his breakfast and look at his son with an expectant expression before finally speaking after a short silence.

"I am going to work soon and your mother has already left for the tanner, I expect you to give up your strange goal and get a normal job today. Even if your core is cracked since you first formed it you can still find plenty of work."

Bai Xiang was slightly dumbfounded upon hearing about his father, he just got sent to a cool new world and this geezer wanted him to get some menial job. That sounds terrible!
