31 The Aftermath

The Imperial Decree was passed, there was no objection, no changes and any act of violating it results in the death of the entire family as an act of betrayal of the Nation, the Yang family head on hearing this could be visibly seen aging about ten years, the had lost his eldest son in an life and death duel with Lin Yi and he will now loose his second son in an public beheading although he had a third son, he was simply too young and too spoiled, his eldest son was his pride and never let him down in cultivation but he was a bit impulsive and short tempered, who would have thought that that this Qualities of his would be cause of his demise, his second son was a playboy but he was shrewd and ruthless and after death of his older brother, he became focused on cultivation and his worries in heart were reduced a notch but now his son who changed for good would be publically executed, he wanted to shout that this decision should be reconsidered but although he was a father, he was also a clan head who was supposed to protect his clansmen who had put their trust in him, so he could simply swallow his anger and humiliation and simply stayed silent
