17 CHAPTER 17: BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY
The days passed by quickly and Krystal had received another shock from the Holmes. These people had asked her to become their god daughter, she was so touched that she had agreed. They were so good to her and having a family meant a great deal to her.
They wanted to show her off to the world and they decided to announce this during the birthday banquet of Annie. They well be celebrating two things, so it was going to be grand this time.
She had bought the food from the supermarket and stocked it in the house. She had called Flora to ask her to send someone to come and picked the food. A truck was sent and the food was loaded onto the truck as well as the vegetables.
She also took some pictures of the available gowns in the clothing store and sent them to Annie who chose three gowns and sent five million to her account. She was so happy with this transaction that she picked those gowns and waited for a while before she sent them over to Annie.
Selling these gowns to Annie made Krystal think of doing business. If she could buy these gowns from the mall and sell them outside for a higher price to those ladies that love fashion and were not hesitant to spend.
Thinking of the money she could make, she was so excited she immediately began to write a business proposal. Using her past experience and the current knowledge she had gathered, she was done in an hour. She was satisfied with what she had written and the next thing that she needed was to find a suitable store to open her boutique. She also needed a lot of crystals to purchase the gowns which meant that she needed to sell those diamonds now.
She visited the treasury hall once more and finished the transaction in just minutes. She had managed to sell the diamonds for E$480 million, seeing her virtual bank account showing that huge amount, she danced for three minutes to an imaginary tune.
She now had a lot of money in her hands and more crystals to her disposal. The greatest news was the upgrade that happened to the mall. The leveling was crazy that it reached a higher point. The mall upgraded by five levels taking it to level seven. She looked at the continuous rewards that she received for leveling up and she coughed up blood.
She had received a pill called the jade eyes, upon taking this pill she will be able to sense any treasure as long as she was in the vicinity. This was the greatest reward she has ever received and she was glad that she had sold those diamonds as a whole.
The other reward was the expansion of the virtual space which she used for multipurpose, one bottle of spirit surge pills and heart protecting pills. These rewards were enough for her at the moment.
The first thing she did after collecting her rewards, she went to the virtual space to meditate. It was time for her to make a breakthrough and move to the next realm of Soul Condensation.
It took her two days to stabilize herself after making a smooth breakthrough to the next realm. She was much stronger, felt lighter and her spiritual sea was much wider. As long as she fills it up then she will move to the next realm until she reaches the top.
Seeing the excretion that stink like hell that had come out after the detoxification of her body. She left the virtual space and drew herself a bath. After cleaning up the mess, she felt so much better and what she needed to the most was open the boutique as soon as possible and she knew the right people to ask.
Krystal took the three gowns to the Holmes mansion since she needed to ask for a favor or help from the godmother. When she arrived Annie was happy to see her. She passed the gown bags to Annie who pulled her to her bedroom. She sat down as she watched the older woman changed one gown after another. She really looked beautiful and that was a fact that she couldn’t deny.
“You look as if you have something that is on your mind. What is wrong? Did anyone bully you?”
Hearing that question, she couldn’t help but smile when she thought of what happened to those employees that had chased her out. They met a deadly end and got fired.
“It’s nothing like that at all.”
“Then talk to me.”
“Do you know where I can find a shop to rent?”
“Umm, are you planning on starting a business?”
“Yes, I am thinking of exposing those gowns to the world so I was thinking of a place where I can open a boutique but I have no connections,” she sound very depressed when she spoke.
“That is a small matter, I can help you with that,” Annie comforted her and she felt better after that.
“Thank you very much.”
“I will get one of the boys help you with all that is needed and in a week you will be opening your boutique.”
“I will look forward to it.”
Since Flora wasn’t at home, she spent some time with Annie listening to some childhood stories of Flora which made her laugh until her ribs were aching.
She didn’t leave the mansion until the gang was present and when her issue was presented to one of the brothers, she quickly took it upon himself to do it. All she had to do was send him all the documents that he needed.
Flora had three brothers who were much older than her by a number of years. The oldest who was the guy she saw that day when Flora was assaulted was named Fredrick and he was currently the C.E.O of Holmes corporation, the second son was named Donald and he was one of the Directors in the company and the last one was named Victor and he was a University student currently studying in Valletta the capital city of Edji.
Flora sent her back home and after giving the other a quick hug, she waved her goodbye. Before she could enter the complex she received a call from the gang and she went to meet them.
Seeing their original hair made her feel very happy and it made them look funny. They have been trying to scare others by their hair color was not the way to go.
“I will look through them and once I am done, I will contact you. In the meantime, do not cause any trouble or else I will ignore you.”
After getting the files, she returned back to the villa. Since she had dealt with the most worrisome issue for the moment, she began to read through the gang’s portfolio. Seeing that they had written every single thing that they have done made her look at them with a soft look.
She burnt the files till they turned to ash and got ready for bed.
