15 CHAPTER 15: STRONGER
Ever since she made Emerald suffer an unending stomach ache, she had been in a great mood. Even though her reputation had suffered in the end, she didn’t care. She didn’t live for everyone after all.
Emerald was quick in finding Krystal, she now knew where she was studying and knowing the fact she was hated made her life better. She was going to deal with Krystal once and for al. Even though her parents hated Krystal, she was still their child and it was better if she were to just get rid of her before she grew her wings further.
She didn’t like the fact that someone like Krystal could make a friend like Flora Holmes. She had investigated and she knew that these two were friends and to make it worse, Flora was the one who chased after her lousy sister. This really infuriated her so much and she wanted to make sure that Krystal lose everything that she has and she knew what to do to make her lose everything.
Krystal wasn’t aware of what Emerald was planning but even if she were to know she didn’t put her schemes in mind.
On the other side Flora had been making a scene at her house complaining about the way that Krystal was treated by Emerald. It was the first time that they really saw how much Krystal had suffered in that home after she lost her foster mother. Everyone was always talking bad about Krystal and no one has ever asked about her own side.
Knowing that her daughter and her friend were badly treated, Annie was going to enact revenge and make sure that no one will look down upon her daughter ever again.
Monday finally arrived and Krystal went to school in a happy mood. However, the mood at school felt very strange, she knew that they didn’t like her but this feeling she was having was eerie. This was some higher level of disgust; this was the feeling that she was having as everyone looked at her.
Couldn’t she have some peace of mind for once as she attends school? If she had known that school was this hard, she would have kicked that wish of hers out of the window.
When she saw a very flustered and angry Flora running towards her, she knew that things were very wrong.
“Just tell me, why are you this angry?”
“That little b***h, how dare she slander you like that? If I ever see her again, I will make sure that she regrets ever crossing paths with me,” seeing Flora fuming on her behalf she wanted to kiss that flushed face over and over again.
“Let me see what it is this time again.”
Krystal took her tablet from the satchel and logged into the school forum. Emerald had a lot of free time, to think that she could post something so crazy like that just to get back at her was very cute. After reading the accusations and posts that were trending she simply logged out and returned her tablet back into the satchel.
“Just ignore it, it’s not like it affects me any longer,” Krystal said as she began to walk towards her class.
“But….”
“Just leave it as it is. Even if I refute against the accusation, something new will crop up. I am tired of all these,” Krystal said as she didn’t want to fight anymore. She knew her temper pretty well and she didn’t want to shed any blood.
The two separated and went to their respective classes. She ignored those that looked at her with disdain and concentrated on her studies. If her own family could tarnish her name so badly like that, how could others not do it as well?
Later that day after school, she felt that someone was following her. So she indulged her followers and made sure that they follow her to that alley where she took out a cigarette so that she could have a smoke.
As someone who had been busy training and cultivating, she needed to fight in order to consolidate her realm and some punching bags had delivered themselves to her.
“You are one clever little girl but this is good. We can enjoy a lot of time together in this dark alley,” a red haired guy spoke leisurely as he played with a blade.
“She has some meat and even though she isn’t that beautiful, she will do. I heard that she is used to having some older men. I bet she is experienced and she can take the five of us,” another brown haired guy spoke as he looked at her with lust in his eyes.
She really wanted to poke those eyeballs from those sockets but she was in not a hurry. She finished her smoke and stepped on the cigarette butt and looked at them with a sneer.
“If you tell me who sent you, I will forgive you and make sure that you leave without any broken bones,” Krystal said as she put her satchel on the ground.
“A little kid like you want to negotiate with us, you must be tired of living. Get her!” the cold and quiet one finally spoke and two of the guys approached her with their blades.
To think that these so called shameless and inexperienced thugs wanted to catch her, she really found it very funny. She wanted for them to approach before she began to baptize them. It only took a few seconds before they were groaning in pain rolling down on the ground.
‘It’s already too late for you to back out now. Once I start something, I will never stop midway,” she said as she stretched her body.
Using the slowest speed, she could which looked very fast to those that were looking at her with fear, she beat the hell out of the five guys until they were begging for mercy. She lit another cigarette as she looked at the guys she had beaten until they were crying and all in a corner.
“Since we are done with the introductions, I hope that you can answer a few questions of mine truthfully. For every lie that you say, I will break another bone and I love breaking bones,” she spoke with a cunning smile on her face.
“We will answer you everything, we promise.”
Seeing them beg and willing like this made things easier for her.
“Okay then. I just became lazy to ask, just tell me everything that I need to know. I guess that you already know what I want,” she spoke with raised eyebrows.
The five defeated guys looked at each other and came to an understanding.
“A girl approached us and promised to give us the money that we wanted as long as we mess up with you and send her a video,” one of the guys said.
“Didn’t she tell you her name?”
“No, she didn’t but we have a number,” one of them answered.
Krystal took out her phone and after a few clicks she showed the guys a picture.
“Does she look familiar to you?” she asked as she showed everyone the picture.
‘Yes, that is her. Do you know her?”
“Yes, she is my younger sister or she used to be before they kicked me out of the house. To think that little kid is so daring to try something like this. She must be tired of living,” Krystal swore angrily as she thought of how crazy Emerald had become.
“If you let us go, we can do anything that you want. Just…”
Hearing that, she couldn’t help but show another creepy smile. Since Emerald was so desperate in ruining her life then she was going to return the favor.
“As long as you do something for me, I can let this all go and never pursue it,” she spoke as she crouched in front of them so that she was looking straight in their eyes.
“What do you want us to do?” the red haired guy asked with excitement. It was better for them to mess with other people than this girl, they have learnt it the hard way.
She moved closer to them and told her about what she wanted them to do. Seeing that they didn’t argue or refuse, she decided to let them go.
“When you are done, come and find me. Don’t let me look for you because next time I will skin you and bury you alive. Don’t even think of running away, you are well aware of what I am capable of,” with that Krystal took her satchel and left the dark aisle while whistling a tune.
Back in the alley the five guys were swearing angrily. Because of that young girl they had angered a big mountain and now they regretted it.
“What do you think we should do?”
“We should get it done and make sure that we impress her.”
“Yes, we should impress her and then ask her to take us in. just imagine if we get under her, we can become stronger and fight like her. Who would look down on us?”
Seeing the logical statements being exchanged between the gang members, they all came to an agreement. They should fawn over her and make them their boss, they can grow when they take her. This was an opportunity that shouldn’t be missed.
“Let’s getthis done with and hope that she will not stay angry with us,” the cold and aloof guy finally spoke and since they respected him, they knew that he had agreed which was good news for them.
The five helped each other and left the alley to nurse their wounds. They had revenge to do and the more pleasing it was, the more they will praise by that kid. They were going to do things right for once.
Krystal was happy as she ate her dinner back at the villa. To think that she had gotten that strong in just a week made her excited. According to the cultivation book Immortal mortal she needed some spirit stones or pills to aid her in her cultivation and since she couldn’t find any stones at the moment she needed to go with the pills. The only way to get the pills was to upgrade the system. Something that she was going to do once she was done with exams.
