34 Zanpakuto Part-1

Alden remembered that his Zanpakuto is unsealed, so he should start awakening it. As he was thinking about it, he heard system's notification.

" Host should recover completely before he can awaken his Zanpakuto."

Alden also agreed with system. After thinking for a bit he said: " System, How should I awaken Zanpakuto."

System:" Host only needs to let his Zanpakuto, which is in soul form, fuse with host's soul. But this process will be very painful and it will take atleast 12 hours. Host needs to be awake for the whole process or it is possible that host may loose the part of his Zanpakuto if the process stops in between.

Host needs to have atleast 1000 points in Spirit Attribute so as not to get his soul damaged by this process. At the time of awakening host would not be able to release shikai but just normal Zanpakuto to avoid any damage to host's soul. After getting used to bearing Zanpakuto for sometime host can try to release Shikai."

Alden remembered that he just crossed the 1000 points in spirit attribute. So it was well and good.

Now he asked system: " System, you said that i should not eat Devil fruit before awakening Zanpakuto.

System:" If host eats Devil fruit before awakening zanpakuto, its growth will stop. In addition to its own power, your Zanpakuto can also assimilate Devil fruit's powers too. If you have eaten it before, then it would have taken a part of devil fruits essence and which would have stopped it from taking essence of any other fruit.

So you can have one devil fruit for your body, for it system suggests host to eat space based Devil fruit.

As for zanpakuto, it can take 3 devil fruits' essences, one when it is just awaken, second when host can release Shikai and last one when host can release Bankai. Host's Zanpakuto can only have one devil fruit of each type: paramecia, logia and zoan. Order of the fruits taken can be anyone."

Now Alden understood why System did not let him eat Ope Ope no mi.

He asked: " Will I become weak against water if I eat devil fruit?"

System:"Yes, host will become weak against water if he eats devil fruit himself. But if he uses it on Zanpakuto host will not be affected by the water or the sea stone."

Alden: "How will I use the power of the devil fruits my Zanpakuto eats."

System: "Zanpakuto is a part of host's body. Host will be able to eat the fruit as if he himself has eaten it. "

Alden was happy to hear that. Now what he needed to do is to find necessary Devil fruits.

He asked system: " System will you be able to recognize the devil fruit if its shown to you."

System: " If the fruit is kept in system's inventory, system can recognize its properties."

Afterwards, he checked about few devil fruits in the library. While looking at zoan type fruits which are yet to be used, he saw an ancient zoan fruit of ancient thunder dragon, the owner of that fruit died 20 years back and it will be found by marine after around 8 years and which was then sent to world government. There was no information about who ate it afterwards. The fruit was found in the grandline at Arabasta. He didn't find much information about space related fruit. And for other two type of fruits he will take time and search. And he will eat them if he find suitable.

After that he went towards sea and called out Flying Dutchman and boarded it. Then He took it into sky in the clouds so as to avoid others when he recovers and awakens the Zanpakuto.

Afterwards, he rested for two more days on the ship and recovered completely. He was in high spirits and excited as it was time for awakening his zanpakuto. It will be a huge addition to his strength.

He took a deep breath and asked system to start the fusion.
