13 Training with Garp

Garp listened to Alden and surprised by this little kid's mentality.

Garp told him that before leaving he wanted to test his ability and check whether he is ready to go to the sea.

Alden went to the backyard training ground with Garp. Garp asked him to punch him with his full strength. Alden got in his stance and punched Garp with all he had. Garp wasn't surprised by his strength but he was surprised by his technique. Garp realized that while punching, he put his whole weight in this punch.

Garp asked Alden about his speciality as he knew that this kid is not simple. Alden told him about his swordsmanship.

Alden brought a wooden sword and showed him his sword arts. Garp was again surprised to see that his sword mastery is already at novice stage and he also have good mastery at his sword arts atleast minor accomplishment. He realized that this kid was more than ready for the sea although not alone.

Alden was also surprised by his body's fluid motion as he felt that he could feel all the movements of his body and take them to perfection.

He checked his stats:

He saw that his HAKI foundation method reached to perfection and his intelligence and spirit attributes increased by a lot. Plus his Zanpakuto unsealed by 5% more unsealing it to 30%. He also so he unlocked conqueror's haki.

He asked system about what happened. System said: " When host unlocked conqueror's haki he reached perfection state of HAKI foundation method, which increased host's spirit and intelligence stats.

Chain quest triggered: " Find ope ope no mi"

Time limit: 2 years

Reward: ???"

Alden thought that he was going to search it anyways, so he would be able to complete this quest with that too.

He also realized that this was a chain quest.

When Alden was looking and analyzing his stats, Garp was amazed by his performance and thinking about what and how to teach him. He realized that this by has very good body's foundation and needs real life fight experience.

Garp checked his body and found that he can start learning Armament haki. So he thought about teaching it to him. He also found his leg muscles well developed. So he can teach him movement techniques like soru.

Garp said that, he will teach Alden about basics of Haki and soru for a month at his house then they will go to the sea.

Alden was happy that he will be learning about haki and soru from Garp, so that he can avoid anyone suspect about him learning these techniques by himself.

After that day, Garp stayed at his house and taught Alden about Armament haki and Soru.

While training he found that, Alden has very good mental strength and he can learn observation Haki too. So he also taught Alden about observation haki too.

After a month of training Alden learned basics about all three skills.

He could use armament haki on his hands till his wrists, so he could punch anyone with armament haki. His observation Haki also improved a lot.

He could use soru for short distance speed bursts.

He realized that it was better to have a real life teacher than teacher's memories. Because in real life teacher can observe his movements and find out his mistakes while from memories he can only rely on teacher's memories to guess about his mistakes. Though that would change when he reach high level of observation haki.

Garp was very surprised by his improvements and thought that he found a diamond in rough.

On the last day when his training finished, He went to take rest as tomorrow he would be leaving to the sea.
