18 Training Starts

Alden left the island with Garp the same day. They reached Loguetown in 5 days without any surprises.

Alden went to his home with Garp. He did not give his father the devil fruit at that moment. He told his father about his adventure with pirates. Bill was proud of him when he said that he killed few pirates. Bill knew about cruelty of this world, so he was happy that his son is getting used to it.

Alden also went to see his mother, He felt very sad when he saw her mother unconscious. He wanted to hear her lovely voice. He wanted to share all of his experience with her. But it was not possible right now. But he did not worry as he knew that he has something that will be able to save her.

After lunch, Garp said went out to roam around town.

At that time, Alden took his father to the inner most room in his house. Then he took out the box and gave it to his father.

When Bill opened that box, he found a red coloured heart shaped fruit.

Bill said: "Is that what I think it is?"

Alden affirmed with smiling face.

Bill asked," Why didn't you eat it?"

Alden said," I cannot eat any Devil fruit, atleast not for now. I cannot tell you about it now, but some day I will tell you."

"And I cannot trust anyone to save mother other than you, So I am giving it to you."

"Please father eat it and practice its powers till you have enough control over them and then save mother and attach your arm. And I hope you don't join Marine again as power of this fruit is very sensitive." Alden had anticipation in his eyes with tears.

After hearing that Alden didn't hesitate and ate Ope Ope no Mi.

Alden warned his father not to use its power in front of anyone and be careful. He asked him to practice his powers in secluded location.

He already told Bill about his training with Z. He told his father to inform him before he saves mother.

He stayed at home for around 4 days and then left with Garp towards Alpanac Island.

Garp said that, he will not stop at island as he need to go back to Marineford due to some emergency situation.

Alden didn't ask anything and just nodded.

After 5 days they reached Alpanac island and they dropped Alden on the island's port.

He went to the inn where Z was staying.

When he reached there, Z was drinking. Z saw Alden and asked him to sit down in front of him.

Z: " Your training starts from tomorrow morning 5 AM, be ready. Now take rest, you must be tired from this long journey."

Alden was not tired, but he wanted to take some rest before his rigorous training starts.

He went to the room Z booked for him at inn.

He sat on the bed in meditative position and checked his status:

He had been practicing sword arts, Hakis and soru in last 15 days. Though he could not breakthrough in any technique but he had significant rise in his attributes.

That night, he then slept peacefully as he knew that from next day he will be very busy doing training and will not be able to take rest like this. When he slept he had anticipation on his face.

Next morning he woke up early and freshen up. He went outside and found Z waiting for him. They went outside the town in the forest.

There Alden told Z that he wanted to learn all skill of Rokushiki and develop his haki to the very high level.

Z laughed at this. He asked Alden to attack him with full force to check his strength. After Alden punched, Z realized that this kid has enough strength to learn these techniques.

So, from that point on Alden's training in Rokushiki and Haki began.
