27 Sword Intent
Next day, after reaching Sword Teacher level mastery, Alden went to Z and asked him to teach him sword techniques.
Z was also ready for it as he explained to him: " Before learning sword techniques, you need to develop your sword intent. With that you can use sword energy that can even attack enemy at the distance. The stronger your sword intent the stronger the power of the technique. It is somewhat similar to Killing Intent. It is a dangerous aura emitted from a sword or its master which causes others to feel as if they're about to be cut by a sword. Using sword techniques you can even create physical manifestations consisting of energy with your Sword Intent and this can be used to attack you foes.
To start developing this technique you need to have a stable state of one with the sword. So, first you need to stabilize that. When you are able to enter that state whenever you wanted to, I will teach you how to develop sword intent and then sword techniques."
As he heard that he knew what to do for the next days training. He was continuing with training in soru, but for sword training he was only trying to be in one with the sword as much as possible.
He also sparred with Z many times for getting fighting experience and tried to be in one with the sword state while sparring.
After training for almost 3 months, finally he could be in a state of one with the sword whenever he wanted. He was also very close to breakthrough in soru.
On that day, Z explained him about how to develop the sword intent. He showed him his own sword intent, which was frighteningly sharp. Alden felt very threatened by it even when he was standing 10 meters away from Z.
Z told him: " One with the sword is a state where sword becomes part of your body, but sword intent is mastered when you become sword itself. Visualize yourself about being a sword that can cut anything. Visualize yourself to be so sharp that you can cut through any defence. So for next sword training you will have to stop using sword and use energy in your body and try manifest it into sharp sword and and try to cut this stone as neat as possible. And when you can cut this stone so neat that even though the stone is cut, it shouldn't be visible. Like this"
Z slashes his arm horizontally towards a stone and cut it with his intent. Alden couldn't see any cut on the stone. But when he pushed it aside, he found it was cut in a half.
Z said: " when you are able to do this you will master your sword intent. You will become sword yourself. And you will become sword master.
When you can manifest the sword intent, I will teach you basic sword techniques to use sword intent. Then you can practice it with them."
Alden was exhilarated, after listening to Z and seeing his sword intent. His blood was boiling. He put his sword aside and began his training, trying to manifest his sword intent.
But after training for a month, he couldn't manifest his sword intent at all. He was frustrated about it but he kept trying.
One day, when he was training in soru, he heard system message: " Quest: Reach Peak proficiency in Soru before the age of 11 years and reach major accomplishment in Geppo at the age of 12.5 years.
Status: First part completed (Reached Peak proficiency in Soru) "
At last he reached Peak proficieny in soru. Now his speed was increased to a very high rate. He could dodge bullets even without using observation haki.
And now was the time to learn Geppo.
