After finishing the fight he went back to Z, who was standing at the same location, looking at the fight.

When he reached near Z, Z just patted his shoulder and went back to inn. Alden knew that this fight was very important for his growth both physically and mentally.

He knew he had couple of breakthroughs while fighting the pirates.

He felt very tired both mentally and physically, so he also went to inn after Z. When he reached inn, he saw Z was contacting marines to ask them to cleanup the mess.

Alden then went to his room and fell on the bed and in a moment he slept. When he woke up, it was already next morning. He was still in bed. He thought about yesterday's fight and how he killed whole pirate crew.

Then he remembered that he did not look at his status.

He saw that his stats increased by a lot. Then he saw his breakthrough in basic sword arts to peak accomplishment and sword mastery to Sword apprentice level. He also saw his observation haki leveled up to minor accomplishment. When he saw Zanpakuto seal status to 50%, he realized that when he breakthrough in sword mastery the Zanpakuto is unsealed in multiples of 25%. He remembered that it was 25% when he reached novice level in sword mastery. So he thought that when he would reach Sword teacher level his Zanpakuto will be unsealed by 75% and it will be completely unsealed when he reaches master level in sword. He also knew that increment in his spirit attribute was due to unsealing his zanpakuto by 50%.

When he went out, he saw Z sitting downstairs waiting for him. He apologized for being late to his master and told him about his breakthrough.

Z said: " I saw that when you were fighting those scums. I knew you had a breakthrough in your sword mastery and observation haki. But you ignored both of my warnings. You showed mercy and was distracted. It could have caused you your life."

When Alden thought about his mistakes, he felt little down. When Z saw this, he told him: " You are just a kid who has recently begin his life in the sea. You need to learn many things. Strengths is not everything. You need to understand opponent. You need to understand how he thinks. Then you can start your journey in the sea."

Alden took everything as he listened to his master. He knew that even though he has lived more than 20 years including his past life and has many memories, he needs to learn many things. He needs to experience many things.

With this resolve he again started with his training. When he asked Z for new sword technique, Z told him to practice with the same for few days to stabilize his level at sword apprentice and get used to it with his basic sword arts. Then he can start with advanced sword art.

After few days, when he was ready, Z gave him advanced sword art, Tiger sword style. But when he saw in his sword art related memories he found similar but better and more efficient sword arts which was named as fierce tiger sword arts which also had similar names.

So he started practicing in this technique in his sword arts.

He also kept practicing in other techniques of Rokushiki and two hakis.

Days became weeks and weeks became months. He kept doing his training. He felt that it was boring but when he had a breakthrough it re-energized him and he would start his training with more enthusiasm.

Almost 8 months after his fight with pirates, Alden finished his training and came back to his room. After eating his dinner when he was about to sleep, he heard Den-Den Mushi ringing.
