30 Adventurer's Association

It took Alden more than a month to reach Adventurer's Association branch of East blue from his parent's island. He looked around to see if he could find anyone he knew from anime in previous life.

It looked like a large pub. There were almost thousand people. He saw a girl behind the counter and walked towards her.

When she saw him walking to her, she smiled and said: " May I help you? "

He sat on a chair in front of her: " Hello! Can you tell me how can I register as an Adventurer?"

Before she could reply. he continued: " And Mr. Daniel Walter should be this branch's Manager, right? I have a letter for him from his friend." He showed her a letter and there was a marine seal on it.

After looking at the seal on the letter, she asked him to wait and went inside to tell Branch Manager.

After some time she came back and asked Alden to follow her inside. When he went inside, the room was like a general desk office with lot of papers and files. He saw a middle aged man who looked like a normal person who does office jobs. But after using a little observation haki, he knew that this person is very strong. His strength should be atleast the level of Vice-Admiral or may be at the level of Admiral.

Daniel looked at Alden and said: " It s rude to peep at other's strength without permission, kid."

Alden looked embarrassed and apologized for his behavior. Looking at embarrassed kid, Daniel laughed and asked him to sit. Alden sit down and gave Z's letter to him.

Daniel knew who's letter it was, as he only had one friend in Marines. He opened the letter and started reading it. He looked a bit surprised. While reading the letter he looked at Alden few times with surprise.

After reading it, he put the letter down and said: " So in the end he took a disciple."

Then he looked at the girl and said: " Mira give Mr. Walter Steve, a Special F grade adventurer card."

Then he explained Alden about the Adventurer's grading.

"For an Adventurer, Lowest level is F and highest level is SS grade. On the top of SS grade there is a President of the Association. Any SS grade Adventurer can challenge the President for his seat.

At Adventurer's association, you can get missions from the mission board. And for doing missions you can gather points which can be exchanged for berry or any items at the Association Store.

Missions and Association store has levels same as the Adventurer's grade. An F grade Adventurer can only do F or E grade Missions and He has access to only F grade store. To upgrade the grade, you need to complete 100 missions on same grade or 5 missions on one grade higher, for grade F to C. For Grade A and B, you need to complete 20 missions on the same grade or 1 mission on grade higher. Adventurers on S and SS grade are fixed. To reach there you need to challenge them and replace them as new S or SS grade Adventurer. But for challenging them you need to be at grade A for at least 1 year and you can challenge only once a year.

Now, I am giving you Special F grade Adventurer Card. The only difference with normal card is that you can take missions at the level of D grade also when you are at F grade. And same will be as you go up in the grade.

I am giving you this special card because you are his disciple. But to be honest, being his disciple you should have become Marine. I don't understand why didn't you join them?"

Alden replied: " I don't like Marines' methods and I don't like being restrained."

Then that girl came back with a card and gave it to him.

He thanked both of them and went out of the room.

After Alden went out, Daniel sighed and said: " Another monster came. I hone he won't give me lot of troubles."

Alden went out and saw the Mission board. First he looked at E and F grade missions. They were mostly related to bounties and few were escort missions for merchant ships. There were few missions for the search missing items or people. He noted down few people who he thought he should finish them as they were scums and did a lot of bad deeds.

He didn't want to do escort missions as they were time consuming.

Next he checked the D rank Missions. There were many missions of Bounties. He took few which he felt were easier as he didn't exactly knew his strength and didn't want to take risk. He could take difficult mission after getting experience. There wasn't any missions related to Devil Fruits.

So with few missions he went to Mira and asked her about the details of the people who he chose as bounty missions. He chose total of 27 missions, which consisted of 6 F grade, 16 E grade and 5 D grade missions.

Mira told her not to take these many at a time. But Alden assured her that he will complete them. She doesn't need to worry about it.

So she gave all information about those missions. He looked up all of them for system to register them in library and then left the Adventurer's association.
