23 Hawk Eye and End of Krieg's reign

Soon Everybody saw the culprit coming who cut down the ship of Krieg, It was a tall and lean man. He looked like a Spanish swordsman from olden days from his world. He was wearing an open Black long coat with no shirt underneath it which had red flower patterned sleeves. He also had black wide hat with a plume, A golden cross shaped necklace around his neck. With a big sword attached to his back. He was on a small raft which looked quite similar to a coffin. It had two candles on both sides of it, which were lighting with eerie green flames.

Luffy saw Kuina gripping her sword tightly and said to her. "Kuina, I know that you want to be the best swordsman in the world and Defeating him is your dream and I believe that you will be One day. But you are not strong enough to challenge him yet and You won't achieve your dream by just dying at the start of your journey."

After hearing What Luffy said, Kuina calmed down. She knew what Luffy was saying was the truth and she is very far from the level of Strongest swordsman in the world and might die if fight him now. Previously she might have Challenged him but after Fighting with Both Luffy and Ann she knew that she was still very weak and nowhere near to challenge Mihawk.

"Don't worry there will be many other opportunities and I am hundred percent sure that you will be able to defeat him." Luffy told her.

Kuina just smiled and nodded at Luffy. The people beside also heard them when one of them pointed towards Kuina and yelled "I know who that woman is, that is Kuina, pirate hunter kuina."

There was a commotion after hearing that, Everyone was surprised that the famous pirate hunter Kuina was there.

'Looks like I was right, they are not some normal girls.' thought Reiju to herself. Of course she had heard about Kuina, Her name was in newspapers many times. She didn't think the girl was famous Pirate hunter Kuina when Luffy introduced because of how casual she was.

Mihawk also heard the conversation. He wouldn't have cared about it in the least if he didn't feel the powerful presence of the boy. He was a little surprised when he had felt a few powerful people gathered there. He Also recognized the hat The boy was wearing and remembered his talk with shanks when he came back from east blue without his hat and his arm missing and had said that he had bet it on the future.

'So this is what red hair bet his arm on. Looks like this boy will be a big name in the future and a person to watch out for if he is already this powerful.' Mihawk thought to himself that's why when Luffy said that the girl would become the most powerful swordsman he looked towards the girl.

He heard the people talk about her, 'Looks like she has some name in this ocean but she is still weak probably was made aware of her weakness by that boy that's why not rushing to challenge me. At Least the girl has a level head on her shoulders not like these buffoons who were firing at him even knowing that won't be any good as he deflected the bullets shot by Pirates he was chasing.

After that he cut down the remaining pirates and then sent an air slash towards Don Krieg. But it was stopped by another air slash. Everyone was surprised at not only seeing attacks like that can be done but also that someone even stopped the attack.

"Can you leave this guy to me, As I kinda already made a deal with the old man to get rid of him in return for a cook." Luffy said calmly to Mihawk.

Even though Luffy didn't know how strong Mihawk actually is, He wasn't afraid of him. He had gear fourth and also an incomplete Gear fifth if it came to blows.

Everyone's eyes came out of their sockets when they saw Luffy going against Mihawk. The girls also stood behind him with their weapon ready if anything happened.

Even Reiju was touched after seeing Luffy standup against the Strongest swordsman for her joining the crew. And she wanted to join but she can't as long as she doesn't repay the debt of Zeff.

"What is your name, Boy?" Mihawk Asked with an amused face.

"Monkey D. Luffy, The man who will become the Pirate King." Luffy Casually replied to him. "And I would also challenge you on behalf of my swordsman, in less than five year she will defeat you and take the position of the strongest swordsman from you."

Everybody was stunned after hearing his declaration. They all looked towards Kuina. Kuina got a little embarrassed and blushed a little but she also felt really proud of Luffy's praise. And seeing the confidence Luffy had in her that he even challenged the strongest swordsman on her behalf increased her love for Luffy Even more.

Mihawk just chuckled at Luffy's word "I see." Then he looked towards Kuina "Tell me your name, Kid." He said to her.

"My name is Kuina. And I know that I am not strong enough right now. But as my captain said I will definitely defeat you." Kuina said with a determined face.

"Very well, Swordsman Kuina, My name is Dracule Mihawk. I will await you at my strongest strength at the top of the world, Surpass my sword." Mihawk said to her.

Then he looked towards Luffy, "Kid your path is even harder than surpassing me. I Will Await for your arrival in the New World." Then turned back to Leave. Kreig tried to stop him saying, wasn't he there for him, but Mihawk just replied that he had enough fun for today.

Krieg shot bullets at him but Mihawk just swung his sword making a whirlwind at vanishing at least in most people's eyes.

The cooks brought out fins like platforms from under their ship. "So guys, does anyone want to take on this guy" Luffy asked his crew. Nobody seems much interested.

'Looks like I just have to do it.' He thought.

After that he stood before Krieg and said "Well I will give you a chance to do whatever you can."

"Hey kid, I'll show you the power that coquered East Blue." Kreig said and then just went on and on about he had the strongest armor, Diamond punch or something. Luffy just punched him in the face as he was going on and on. Sending him flying.

"Man do you ever shut up." Luffy said to him with his fist high. After getting up Krieg just fired bullets at him which didn't work on Luffy at all.

"If they didn't work then how about these." Kreig said and fired sharp bullets, Luffy used Tekkai stopping the bullets. Then luffy again punched him in the chest breaking his breastplate.

Kreig then pulled one of the shoulder pieces and then tried to use poisonous gas. "This is poisonous gas Called MH5 you have no way to avoid it. It is over for you now." Kreig said with joy on his face But Luffy just swung his sword making a whirlwind and sending the gas to where there was no one.

"Stop It, Stop it or I will blow the brains of this old man." Gin said, pointing a gun at the head of Zeff.

"Hmm so that is how you repay the kindness of others. Looks like the life I gave you,I will have to take it back now." Reiju said and ran towards Gin and before he knew It she was in front of him and she gave a spin kick to his head breaking his neck. Gin was surprised at this turn of events. He never thought that he would die just like that.

Well that takes care of that. After all that Krieg tried his last trump card using the hand pieces of his armor he made a Spear which exploded on touching anything then started swinging at Luffy, "This spear is indestructible and after taking just two-three attacks of it you will die. Nobody can withstand its power." He Yelled at Luffy.

"Then let's check the power of this indestructible spear." Luffy said and then punched the tip of the spear and it exploded, there was smoke everywhere Krieg had a smile on his face thinking how Luffy had died. But when the smoke cleared Luffy was standing there without any scratch on his body.

"Looks like you have used up all your tricks. Then it's time to finish this fight." Luffy said to Kreig. He got just in front of him, put his hand on Krieg's chest and used Rokugan, sending a shockwave strong enough to destroy all of his internal organs. Then Krieg's Lifeless body just hit the piece of wood he was standing on.

Everyone was surprised How easily Luffy had defeated Krieg. Zeff looked at Luffy and thought how it was his turn to fulfill his part of the deal.

After all that was done, everyone started the clean up. In the Night Strawhat were Eating at Baratie.

"Are you ready to join my crew yet?" Luffy asked Reiju.

Reiju only Exhaled in annoyance. But that annoyance was not directed at Luffy but her own situation. She did want to join them, go to see with them but she can't.

"I told you before, I'm not going to join you." Her face became somber when she said that. Luffy saw Zeff behind her and he knew that Zeff would be able to make her go.

"Alright we will leave from here tomorrow if you change your mind, Just tell me." After that straw hat left the Baratie for the Night.

After Reiju heard that They were about to leave, she felt pangs of sadness in her heart.

"Why don't you join him already?" Reiju heard the voice of Zeff from behind her. She turned to Zeff with a shocked face.

"What? You obviously want to join him, we can all see that. But you're being far too stubborn."

"How can you say that to me?! You're the one that's always rejecting these offers on my behalf. I thought you wanted me to stay here! How can I leave when I owe you so much?!" Reiju argued, with her eyes becoming a little misty.

"I only rejected those offers because those weaklings didn't have what it took to make it. That boy right there, he's the real deal. These old eyes can tell. I want you to be well taken care of and happy. He can make that happen. As for owing me you don't me anything. I know you yearn for the open seas, just like I used to. You are my daughter after all, and I couldn't be more proud of you. And if you really feel a debt to me then you can pay it by fulfilling my dream. Like any other cook in the sea to Find all Blue. So go out there and fulfill both our dreams." Zeff told her with a soft smile on his face. That caused the dam to break as Reiju grabbed her father into a tight hug and bawled her eyes out onto his chest, thanking him for all that he's done for her and promising to come back some day After fulfilling his and his brother's dream.

In the morning They Found Reiju with all her things Outside, "Is there still a cook needed, Captain."Everyone just smiled and Luffy replied "Always".

Then after a very tearful goodbye they set sail to Sea.

"So Luffy Where are we going next." Ann asked him.

"We are going to Conomi island." Luffy said with a serious face.

Everybody was wondering why Luffy was said with a serious face as when they set sail for a new place. He is usually in a really good mood.

"Why are we going there, Luffy san" Silk asked what was on everyone's mind.

Luffy just looked towards Nami, and after looking at everyone nervously for some time she nodded her head after that they told everyone all about Nami and her past.

"That's terrible, I am really sorry Nami." Kaya said, and she and Makino tried to comfort her. Other people just had killing intent leaking from them.

"Well looks like I got some Sushi to make." Reiju said. 'Please don't, they fucking look like human I don't want to imagine her making them into sushi or something.' Luffy thought to himself.

"Then what are we waiting for? Let's go burn some fishes." said Ann. 'She is turning into quite the arsonist'. After that they started their journey to Conomi Island.
