1 I got Reincarnated

The sun was shining pretty brightly. I went out of my house after a long break of two weeks. Yes, you hear correctly, its two weeks! So what I am an otaku, I like staying in my house reading novels, manga, etc, what you don't like it, then ok your wish.

Well you know even if I am an otaku I still have basic needs like food. So I left my house to by some instant noodles worth a few weeks.

Why this green light is not changing, I was waiting for the traffic light to change, ahh its red. Now the sh*t happened. When I was crossing the road the some idiot truck driver did not stop at red light. The turn of events were too sudden and I froze on the spot. Will this be my end, is this the legendary truck-kun, that is famous among the otakus. Well I have read many novels like being hit by the legendary truck-kun and then get to reincarnate in another world as a hero.

What the hell I am thinking at my last time, like hell I am going to get reincarnated. So finally the truck hit me, first it was very painful, my whole body was in pain, then a strange coldness started to flow in my body, looks like this is how I will die. At the end of my life, my life started rewinding in front of my eyes. I never studied diligently so I got only passing marks in my university, thats why i never got a good job. I always liked games, novels, mangas, thats why I never studied properly, because of this my parents always use to lecture me, so I left the house, and thats the start of my otaku life.

So only sadness I have is that I am dying without doing anything in my life, I never made my parents of me, deep inside I wanted them to be proud of me. But alas! I lost that chance. With this my sight starts getting blurry and finally I lose consciousness.

Where am I, I am pretty sure I was hit by a truck, did someone saved me, but this does not feels like a hospital, where is this. I can not feel my, is this afterlife? If it is, then its pretty boring, there is nothing here other than darkness and darkness and darkness.

Well its been a long since I was here, since I did not had anything to do I started thinking about my favourite anime One Piece. How much I wanted to see its ending, now I am even unable to do it. I also found out that in I am just a spirit, thats what I call myself as I dont have a body just a little ball of light.

After thinking about it, I started thinking about other things, but after some time I was faced with a very harsh reality, I did not have anything else to pass my time in this nothingness.

I don't know how much time has passed but I am sure of one thing if things does not change I will surely loose my sanity. Anybody will, just staying in endless darkness, in this nothingness, no matter how strong ones willpower is they will surely break under these circumstances.

When I was just on the verge of losing my sanity, I see something strange, there was light coming from one location in the darkness. Curious I tried to move towards the light source, well I don't have any limbs so I actually moved my spirit. Learned how to move in location after my endless duration of stay here. When I moved closer I heard,

"Hello, young man"

"wahh"

So embarrassing, I was actually surprised so I made that kind of sound.

"Hello, who are you"

"Well according to your world I am a god"

"Oh"

"What? Are you not surprised?"

"No, because I am staying in this damn place for too long, and have accepted the fact that i am dead, and this is kind of afterlife, so seeing a god is not that surprising."

"You are a very mature boy."

"Thanks"

"So now lets get back to business, actually it is not an afterlife boy, it is a separate dimension created by me to test candidates"

i was pretty shocked after hearing that, i was just a guinea pig and I did not even knew it, well I did not showed my expressions on my face, though it does not really matter since i don't have a face.

"Test candidates? For what?"

I asked in slightly inquisitive tone with a hint of anger in it.

But the self-proclaimed god did not seem to faze by it. He said

"Well I was testing candidates to send them in another world."

"Another world"

I was again shocked. The god started explaining things.

"Well every 1000 years I send a soul to another world. Consider it a sort of anniversary gift for your world. And i don't send just any soul. The souls are selected from those people that died with not being able to do something important to them, or those who have strong desire to live. You are one of them, because of your strong desire to make your parents proud but never able to do it, I gave you the chance. Selected candidates were sealed in different pocket dimensions of endless darkness only accessible by me for 1000 years. And congratulations you are the only one who passed the test rest all lost their sanity and their spirits disintegrated."

Why am I getting shocks after shocks today. If I had lost my sanity I would have disintegrated. Even thinking such a thing gives me shivers. But thats not the important thing, important thing is that I can reincarnate into another world, whats the dream of every otaku, getting reincarnated in another world and I can do it. Thats the best thing I have heard in a long time. In my excitement I actually forgot that this guy actually locked me for 1000 years, well who cares for that.

"So I can reincarnate in another world"

I asked excitedly.

"Yes, young man you can. You can even choose the world in which you want to reincarnate. You can even choose from anime or game world."

"Really I can even choose anime worlds, thats fantastic. Can I keep my memories."

"Yes you can keep it, its one of your rewards for passing my test. Along with you can ask me three wishes."

"OK so I want to reincarnate in One Piece world"

"Granted"

So I can ask for three wishes. I know what to ask for my first wish. I want to replace luffy as the MC, it is not that I don't like luffy rather I like his character a lot, but I want to have all the adventures of straw hat pirates as their captain.

"For my first wish I want to be Luffy in One Piece, but I don't want to experience childhood, so I want to start at the time when Ace left to become a pirate when luffy was 13, so that I will have 4 years to properly train for my adventure."

"Hmm, it will be a bit much than one wish, but ok since you passed the test I will grant it."

"For my second wish I don't want to lose my ability to swim, and seastones immunity."

"Boy I can not grant this wish as it will like rewriting the laws of that world, but I can give you the the ability so that if practice in seawater you will slowly develop a resistance to it, in this way with much practice you can even swim for some time, and seastones will do you less damage. This ability also tempers with the world laws but change will be slow and gradual so it will not be any problem."

Guess it was too much asking for seastone immunity, and ability to swim, but still I can slowly increase my resistance to sea by training, so its still good.

"For my third ability I want strong comprehension ability."

With this I will be able to train faster and better along with I will be able to learn techniques like haki and rokushiki. This way I teach these techniques to my crew and make them stronger.

"Since it is not a big wish, I will grant it along with I will also give you a manual of rokushiki so that you don't have to ask someone to teach you. When you reincarnate the technique will already in your head."

Thats good. Thats one problem less.

"Thank you god for granting these wishes."

Even though I was still a little angry but still the god gave me a chance to live new life with three wishes. So I very sincerely thanked him.

"Your welcome boy and best of luck for your new life."

"Thank you again."

HaHa, I am coming One Piece!

With that it became bright all of sudden and I lost consciousness. I will definitely enjoy my new life.
