79 Will you be there ?

Kayle didn't want to explain himself any more than that, the moment he saw an opportunity he carried Karin and left with her.

Kayle: "So before everything started I was about to tell you my plan"

Karin that was in Kayle's arms, started focusing once more as Kayle's words brought her back from her fantasies.

Karin: "Yes! can you really help me escape from that place? I don't want to become a burden for you either..."

Karin then explained how her special ability to heal people worked in greater detail to Kayle as she continued.

Karin: "M-Maybe you can tell the Hokage-sama about it... if he knows I can be useful he might help you... and I don't mind being used by Konoha if it let me stay closer to you... at least I won't be alone anymore"

Kayle: "Don't worry about this you silly girl...I don't want you to be used...I want you to live happily and be my companion, I'm sure you have a lot of potentials and as long as I help you train a little then you can be helpful without using that special ability of yours"

As Kayle finished his sentence he couldn't help but notice Karin tightening her fist around his chest while grabbing his shirt tighter as she had few drops of tears running down her cheeks. Kayle felt awkward as he remembered the original fate of Karin, if she had not met him she would have been recruited by Orochimaru shortly after the village she was staying in was destroyed by an unknown enemy.

Kayle: "Well let me explain what I planned... I have information that a group might attack the village you are staying in, it's not one hundred percent sure but the probability is quite high, all we have to do is to make sure you survive. Once your village is destroyed you will have a good reason to come to Konoha and find me as you won't have anywhere else to go"

Karin looked doubtfully at Kayle, but she remembered his strength as she saw him fighting against Orochimaru, well to be more precise she couldn't even see the fight, all she could see was the destruction of the environment happening while they were battling. Kayle had no reason to lie to her... and it seemed logical that someone as powerful as Kayle could have a wide network that could bring him the information he mentioned.

Karin: "What if the group that plans to attack my village gets annihilated? will you be there to help me survive that attack?"

Kayle: "Don't worry, if my information is correct there are very low chances of anyone surviving the attack, all you have to worry about is if there is anyone you care about in the village and you'd like to save?"

Karin shook her head initially, in that village she was only a tool and never received any help, all she wanted was to escape that place.

Kayle: "But sadly I won't be able to go with you I still have to finish the chunin exam, but my cat will!"

Karin: 'guess i'll die...'

Kayle: "Haha... don't underestimate Maru...he is very strong and I taught him a Space-Time Ninjutsu! Maru? can you send us in?"

Maru that was running by his side nodded as he brought the two of them to the pocket dimension.

It then took Kayle a whole hour to calm down Karin and explain to her how she would be safe as long as maru was near her, he also explained that the only reason he wanted her to go back to the village first was to make her status and identity more solid for her to live inside of Konoha with fewer restrictions.
