88 Party

Today is the first day after the first part of the tournament, as everyone would soon want to focus on either training or resuming their missions, Kayle decided to arrange for the party he wanted to make to happen today.

Without even noticing it, Kayle had invited too many people to join him, first, there was almost every one of his generation, Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura, Ino, TenTen,... he also made sure to not forget to invite Shino, you don't want insect invading your bed while you are sleep. In addition to people his age, Kayle also invited several of his teachers Gaï and Kakashi were present, so were Asuma and Kurenai, not forgetting the teachers from the Academy like Iruka and a few others.

As Kayle's home was too small to welcome everyone, they ended up going to Choji's Mansion, it was much larger and the garden was big enough to welcome everyone. Kayle didn't forget to collect a little money from everyone to share the cost of the ingredients, and some generously brought additional ingredients to contribute.

Kayle spent the whole morning preparing several dishes, using his clones the efficiency was incredible.

Kayle: "If I could make clones in a past life that would be incredible, couldn't I manage a whole restaurant by myself? I wouldn't even have to give them salaries, and to avoid any unnecessary trouble I could use transformation Jutsu on them so no client could suspect anything."

During the Party Kayle prepared several pizzas, a few Burgers on the barbecue, and fries as an accompaniment, he also created a new dish, it was spaghetti bolognese.

Kayle: "I hope you are enjoying the food, it's not very usual as it's my own creation but if you want I can make something simpler for you"

Kurenai that has been enjoying the food whole heartily until now shook her head quickly as she explained.

Kurenai: "No everything is delicious! I've never tasted something this good! you really are a good cook Kayle"

Asuma: "Now I understand better while my students kept complaining about missing your snacks while training... I will also miss them quite a lot!"

Kayle smiled happily as he presented his latest dish to the two ninja he was currently talking to.

Kayle: "This last dish I created was prepared especially for you too"

Kurenai: "Us? me and Asuma? why is that"

Kayle: "This dish is quite special! there is a backstory to it, let me tell it to you!"

Kayle grabbed one spaghetti and pulled it with his fork showing how long it is.

Kayle: "The was a rumor that this was the most romantic meal one would have with his or her lover, it said that when a couple share a plate of spaghetti if they are lucky enough they would each start eating the same spaghetti from its two sides which would lead them to kiss"

Both Kurenai and Asuma turned bright red hearing this, they looked suspiciously as Kayle wondering if he knew their relationship and after a short while.

Kurenai: "I-I would love to taste some of it"

Asuma: "S-So do I!"

Kayle smiled brightly which warmed the heart of the two lovers.

Kurenai: 'He is such a good kid! I'll make sure to help him whenever I can'

Asuma: 'This Old man won't forget your contribution to my happiness!'

Kayle put down two different plates in front of them.

Kayle: "You can dig in!"

Kayle: 'hehe... wanna be lovebirds in front of this single dude... you can dream with your eyes open'

Kurenai: "..."

Asuma: "..."

Both Kurenai and Asuma ate quietly while looking at each other's plates lost in thoughts and with their heart full of regret, Shikamaru that saw everything that happened had to control himself really hard to not explode of laugher, it seemed that Kayle was too sinister, even his teacher couldn't escape from his scheming.

Everyone enjoyed this party a lot, most of their worry had vanished and they could fully enjoy spending time with the people they cherished.

After Kayle tended to everyone he went and found Karin that was also invited.

Kayle: "So this will be the last day of your stay here ?"

Karin: "Yes it is... I would have loved spending more time with you but I know it's too complicated now"

Kayle: "Don't worry we will see each other soon enough, I will be training in the place I showed you last time... once your village is attacked we will be able to see each other"

Karin nodded while feeling reassured, knowing that they wouldn't separate for long lifted a huge burden from her shoulders and she couldn't help but wish the time they reunite would come quicker.

Not too far away a loud yell resounded in the whole garden.

Asuma: "SOMEBODY TOUCHA MY SPAGHET !"

Kakashi: "There is no need to make a whole scene for it... I only wanted to have a taste..."
