Haku's death

The time went flying by and the bridge kept being build with fast progress, Kayle spends the first few days going out with everyone, but as days went by he went less and less with them as the mission that was given to him by Kakashi was to heal everyone if ever needed.

Until the day where the fated event happened, Zanuza finally attacked, Kayle first watched how Naruto successfully saved Inari and his mother from the Bandits without interfering, he then followed Naruto secretly until arriving at the bride.

Sasuke was fighting against Haku while Kakahi was fighting against Zabuza, Kayle sat at a slightly remote place watching the events, he remembered how he had seen these events in his past life, he remembered how saddened he had been by Haku's dead.

For Kayle, someone like Haku, who was willing to sacrifice, his happiness, his life, and everything he had without expecting anything in return was the purest sacrifice any human could make. And seeing such a pure soul die couldn't help but bring tears into his eyes.

Kayle POV:

Kayle: 'Yes... I remember... I did cry when watching Haku die... I did hate Zabuza for the way he treated him... But I saw Zabuza attachment to Haku and felt slightly relieved in my sadness, even if he died, Haku succeeded in melting Zabuza frozen heart...'

Kayle saw that Haku had only slightly more difficulties fighting against Sasuke as he was a little stronger than the original, but their difference in level was so big that it almost didn't even matter and Sasuke laid down on the floor with needles making him unconscious.

Pure Rage from Naruto let escape some of Kurama's Chakra and he started fighting like a berserker not caring one second for his well-being but only focusing on getting stronger and faster to hit Haku.

Kakashi that has been fighting Zabuza all this while got worried as he felt this strong chakra, he decided it was time to finish this fight as quickly as possible he started attacking Zabuza more fiercely while avoiding Zabuza giant saber at the last moment.

Kakashi saw the reflection of his Sharingan on Zabuza's sword as he barely avoided the attack, from then on everything went according to his calculations and he successfully immobilized his enemy using his dogs. and he trusted his Chidori towards Zabuza's chest.

The only thing that Kakashi didn't take into account was Haku's exceptional speed and his willingness to sacrifice his life for the most important person he had.

The story didn't change as fate would have liked it, Haku was killed, then Zabuza got his revenge on Gato after he came to betray him and like every fairy tale story, it needed a happy ending, the villagers finally took embraced their courage and came to help the Ninjas making all the remaining bandits that were still alive escape for their lives.

The only dark spot on this beautiful picture was Zabuza and Haku laying side to side on the cold floor.

Kayle that watched everything happening started moving out and joined everyone, he focused on healing Sasuke and Naruto.

Kakashi: "Hey...Where were you? we would have needed your help"

Kayle: "I wasn't far... don't worry I could have intervened at any moment if needed and my priority was to stay alive as to heal everyone when needed, that's Tsunade first guideline for any medic Ninja if my memories are correct "

Kakashi nodded at Kayle, for some reason Kakashi had a very strange feeling like he was missing a piece of the puzzle, everything that happened seemed normal, he had looked around him several times and couldn't find any more enemies either.

Kakashi: 'Maybe I'm too exhausted? I don't understand what could be wrong'

Kayle: "You can go... I will handle everything here... you once more used most of your chakra and you need to rest as soon as possible"

Kakashi: "What about the two there ?"

Kayle: "I think that burying them is the best thing to do... and that's what I'll be doing"

Kakashi nodded but due to his restless feeling, he decided to stay and trust his intuition. he watched as Kayle buried Haku and Zabuza.

After Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura said their goodbyes, Kakashi finally left with them leaving Kayle alone as he wanted a little more time.

Kayle: "That was very impressive guys..."

Four figures appeared out of the Shadows.

Shisui: "Was it?"

Kayle: "Yes... you will never cease to amaze me... your Genjutsu is on point"

Shisui laughed happily at the compliment as he started explaining.

Shisui: "The hardest thing was the timing... I had to position myself perfectly so Kakashi would see my Sharingan while thinking it was his if I tried using a Genjutsu on Kakashi with any less aggressive approach I'm pretty sure it wouldn't have worked"

Kayle: "Good job! What you guys did you see everything ?"

Both Zabuza and Haku were standing between Shisui and Itachi, they both knew they weren't a match for the two ninjas that saved them so they decided to follow them quietly to understand the situation better.

Zabuza: "We too both saw everything... they put us in the Genjutsu as well"

Haku: "I was saved at the very last moment... you guys saved my life..."

Zabuza was sure that the Genjutsu they watched would have become the reality without the interference of these ninjas... he was immensely thankful for them because he finally opened his eyes... if it wasn't for them he would have died without the opportunity to make it up to Haku... but now he was alive, standing next to him, he still had time to make it up for it. he still had time to thank him for how much care had been given all this time.

Haku looked at Zabuza feeling happy, she knew what happened was only inside a Genjutsu. but watching Zabuza getting in such rage for his death warmed his heart and tears of happiness started running down his cheeks.

Kayle: "Well I have a deal for you guys!"
