Gaï's training - part2 -

As I woke up today I could feel all my muscles aching, I had a hard time lifting myself from my bed, it seems my parents put me there and I'm pretty sure my mom helped cleaning all the dirt I had on me too.

My heart feels warm thinking about how they take care of me, I'm lucky, I then start thinking about Naruto that couldn't enjoy such simple happiness.

I quickly ate my breakfast and prepared a bento following Gaï's instructions, I made some chicken curry marinated in the medicinal plants he talked about, most of the herbs Gaï told me about are not that expensive, but as they don't have much taste and their use is mostly unknown even by most Ninjas, that makes them quite difficult to buy as people don't bother to collect them.

He gave me the address of a shop where the owner always has some stock of it and advised me to collect them myself too whenever I go out of the village, their main use is to strengthen the body and increase its regenerative capacity.

I then walked out ready to start another day of hellish training, I ran as fast as I could through the village until I reached yesterday's training ground, Gaï was already there waiting for me.

Gaï: "Ready for more training ?" he said smiling

I nodded and we did the same warm-up I did yesterday.

Gaï: "Good then let's walk on our hands around the village!"

I followed his instructions and we started exercising, as we got to a populated area, I could see people looking at us weirdly but it didn't surprise me as walking on our hands is indeed quite strange.

???: "Hey look! that failure got another disciple"

I looked up quite surprised at what I heard, I saw two ninjas, around 25 years old with a younger boy around my age, snickering at us, I got slightly mad as I'm pretty sure they are only chunins at best .. how dare they poke fun at a Jonin.

Gaï saw the confusion in my eyes but said nothing, he just kept walking on his hands, I decided to follow him but as we advanced slightly I heard them once more.

Random Chunin 1: "Haha, look at how pathetic he is... he never learned any genjutsu or ninjustsu and call himself a Ninja"

Random Chunin 2: "Hey kid... for your own good don't follow the wrong example... you better stop imitating him.. our chakra strengthen our bodies naturally with time.. physical training is waste of time"

Random Chunin 1: "You better try to learn a simple ninjutsu it's way more efficient than what you are doing"

I couldn't hold back anymore as I got mad.

Kayle: "Stop spouting nonsense... by training I'll get stronger faster and how dare you even like that to a jonin?"

Random Chunin 1: "Look like you are also stupid... and him a jonin? he only has the title... how could a failure only using taijutsu be worth that title... I'm not really sure how he got it but he definitely used some tricks"

Random young boy: "And how dare you argue with my big brother? I'll teach you a lesson!"

The young boy jumped in front of me getting closer

Random young boy: "My name is Randy! do you dare to have a fight with me?"

I look at him pretty madly... how dare he start a fight with me? I'm pretty sure I saw him in the Academy too and he is only one year ahead of me.. while I'm a reborn person and been training since my birth... I'm pretty sure I could beat an average genin.

I flip around getting back on my feet and getting in my stance.

Kayle: "I'm not the type to cower, you want to fight? let fight then!"

For some reason, Gaï put a hand on my shoulder and shook his head.

Gaï: "You shouldn't fight yet, just let it go"

Randy's big brother: "Hah! see that failure know his place at least"

I remove gaï's hand from my shoulder as I'm too mad to hold myself back... the only thing in my mind is to hit that brat in the nose and teach him a lesson.

Gaï and the two chunins make some space for me and Randy while we are facing each other with around 10 meters separating us.

Randy's big brother picks a stone from the floor and looks at us as seems having fun enjoying a show.

Randy's big brother: "The fight will start once this rock hit the floor"
