69 First exam

The room when silent as everyone focused on Ibiki, his aura was very heavy and the scars on his face made him a little scary. Everyone took him seriously and as he was the examiner, they were all afraid of getting disqualified because they failed to listen to the instructions.

After making sure that all the candidates had calmed down, Ibiki Morino led them to the classroom where the test would take place and explained the rules.

Ibiki Morino: "You will all start with 10 points, for every mistake you make, two points will be deduced... in the same way, if you are found cheating two points are deducted! that means if you are caught five times you are automatically disqualified"

Ibiki continued explaining the rules as everyone got more and more stressed, a few of them noticed that this exam consisted of collecting information but most of them didn't and started getting more and more worried.

Kayle who already knew that this exam didn't matter at all sat in the back of the classroom and took a nap. while he was comfortably dreaming about a sunny beach he suddenly felt his head hurt as he woke up, Looking Up Ibiki was standing next to him with his fist risen.

Kayle: "You are bold! why did you hit ma Bald man?"

Veins popped on Ibiki's forehead as he said loudly.

Ibiki: "You dare to sleep in the middle on the exam? you were snoring loudly!"

Kayle felt slightly embarrassed, but no one should underestimate his shamelessness as he looked at Ibiki straight into his eyes.

Kayle: "So what? I paid special attention to all the rules you mentioned and in none did say it wasn't allowed to snore while sleeping during the exam"

Ibiki was speechless, he had seen many things in his life but never had he imagined that a boy as young as Kayle would dare to speak straight to his face... Ibiki felt irritated and decided to put more pressure on Kayle, he took his paper and looked into it.

Ibiki: "Let me see... oh you have answered no questions yet... and you dare to speak to me like this? it's obvious that you are a failure! you will stay as genin... and you will make your whole team fail"

Ibiki: 'You are fifty years too young child... I've interrogated ninjas ten times your age and always succeeded in getting the information I needed... it's too early for you to be this arrogant'

Kayle raised an eyebrow and decided that he had enough of this joke he stood up and started walking down the corridor.

Ibiki: "Oh look like you know you are a lost cause... that's good you can leave if you want...you won't waste any of our time, but remember that you are also disqualifying your whole team if you get a zero"

Kabuto has his back full of sweat, he made all he could to succeed in his mission, but now he was about to fail... he couldn't do anything to help Kayle and change his fate, he felt totally powerless as he wondered what kind of punishment would he get from Orochimaru.

As everyone was looking towards Kayle with pity, this last one turned around with a bright smile as he winked at Ibiki.

Kayle: "Hey bald man didn't I tell you that I listened to all your rules? I know them perfectly"

Kayle reached his hand out and took the copy that was in front of Sakura, he took around five seconds to read it completely before putting it back in front of the now stunned Sakura.

Ibiki: "W-What... are you doing ?"

Kayle: "Isn't it obvious bald man? I'm cheating! so what?! you can take two points from me... I will still have eight once I noted everything I just read"

Kayle went back to his seat with the smuggest look one could have, he sat down as everyone was stunned, he then completed all the ten questions within a minute and looked back at Ibiki.

Kayle: "You are a failure old man... you whole test is a failure bald man!"

While Kayle was very good in theoretical knowledge and could answer all the questions easily himself he felt that slapping someone in the face felt way too good to not do it when he could, that's why he preferred a more confrontational approach.

Ibiki Morino, a Special Jōnin from Konoha was left stunned by Kayle, he had mixed emotions, admiration, surprise, excitement, and even a little shame... as someone who was an expert at controlling his emotions shame was something he didn't feel in years, he had to make huge efforts restrain himself from exploding in laugher.

All the students were waiting for Ibiki to speak, several of them felt excited as kayle had shown a huge loophole in the rules and they were hopeful that they could do the same, they just wanted to make sure Kayle wouldn't get an immediate elimination but there were low chances as he did indeed respect all the rules.

Ibiki Morino: "It seems like I indeed left a huge loophole in this test! it was really a failure on my part, Kayle is awarded 2 points for finding this loophole, and if anyone tries to use the same loophole he will get immediately disqualified"

A huge uproar rang in the room but it was quickly controlled by Ibiki Morino.

Ibiki: 'Look like Konoha have a new genius! '

Naruto: 'Why didn't I do that first !!! I will fail now :'('

Sakura: 'Wow Kayle is so sexy! he even took my copy' *smell it*

Kabuto: 'I almost shat my pants... Well maybe it's not almost'
