86 Fight conclusion

Hearing Lee forfeiting stunned almost everyone, most of the genins couldn't understand why he would forfeit as it seemed that he was far stronger than his opponent. But the Jonins knew that Lee's body was on the verge of breaking.

Gai couldn't help but hold his fists tightly due to the frustration he was feeling, he knew that Kayle was making the right decision deep inside him, he knew that it was his job to stop this fight as soon as possible, but his strong feeling towards his student wanted to give him student the opportunity to shine in front of everyone.

As Lee started walking back to the arena after admitting defeat he suddenly stopped moving, sand had locked both his feet and was slowly climbing up covering more and more of his body. it seemed that Gaara wasn't satisfied with his opponent admitting defeat.

Luckily for Lee, someone had kept his guard up all this time, a green lighting appeared formed between the observant stand and the middle of the stage, time seemed to come to a still then an explosion sounded in the whole room, Gaara that was a few seconds earlier still laying there was now recessed inside one of the walls, while Kayle stood silently in the middle of the stage like nothing happened.

Kayle: "When I say it's enough, I mean it, if you still want to fight I don't mind accompanying you for a round or two... I didn't get to fight yet, I don't mind reaching a little"

People in the room were dumbfounded.

Kakashi as a giant grin, he was excited that Kayle had finally shown his true strength.

Gaï also knew quite a lot about Kayle's real strength, he felt relieved that his student wasn't injured more, he had felt the killing intent behind Gaara's move and he wasn't sure he would have reacted fast enough to save his student himself as it was very unexpected for someone to get attacked after forfeiting.

The Suna representative was both stunned and worried, he knew his student was in the wrong, if it was anyone else than Gaara he would have made a big scene to get his village a few benefits, as Kayle had no legitimate reason to interfere in his opinion, but currently, he was too worried that the one tail would go out of control right now.

The third Hokage looked stunned like almost everyone else in the room, seeing such a young boy being this strong he couldn't help but remember Minato, he seemed to see his shadow inside of the blond boy figure. Konoha was indeed full of geniuses.

Sautobi: 'So that's what Kakashi meant by I'm not sure I'm his opponent... he was serious'

In the end, Gaara seemed to have fainted due to Kayle's attack, the sand restraining Lee loosed and crumbled on the floor.

The third Hokage had to cough loudly to bring the referee out of his daze, this last one announced that the unconscious ninja from Suna had won the fight, his tone was very uncertain as his eyes roamed all around trying to find clues that he did the right call.

Once the announcement was done, the Suna representative quickly carried Gaara and left running with all the remaining ninjas with Suna pretexting that they needed to quickly rest and recover for the second part of the tournament.

Kayle was instructed to not interfere again in any fight he wasn't supposed to be part of but everyone would see that they didn't really blame him, it was more a formality than a real warning.

The last fight resulted in Choji losing quickly to a Ninja of the sound village, but due to the very high intensity that happened a few minutes earlier no one really paid any attention to this fight.
