6 Exploring the Academy - part2 -

I started thinking if there was anything I could do to change that tragedy, I'm not really sure about how much time I have ahead of me before it happens but it will definitely between two and three years Which is really not much.

As I'm eating my bento I hear a small voice behind me.

"Hey! What's your name?! it's quite rare to see blond kids around here"

As I turn around I see naruto standing near me trying to make small talk, he seems insecure, excited, and afraid. Well after being treated badly or ignored by most of the villages it's not surprising.

I give him the warmest smile I can muster "Oh! you are blond too !! that's very rare! even my parents are not blond! it's Kayle, Kayle Sora, nice to meet you"

Naruto: "Oh your parents aren't blond? Ye.. parents I don't have that sort of things..." he says in a weak voice

I just want to facepalm myself.. Why the hell am I this much of an idiot. I smile at him

Kayle: "Hey I'm not hungry anymore do you want to have some of my bento ?"

As he hears me Naruto regains all his energy he nods happily and start wolfing the remaining of my bento.

Naruto: "It's delicious! I forgot to bring anything today... I woke up late and had to rush to the Academy to not be late"

We then kept having small talk for a few minutes, I presented to him Shinji, explaining that we were in the same class and soon enough the bell rang once more announcing that we should go back to our respective classroom.

The lessons this afternoon were just as boring as the one we had this morning, it seems that we will mostly get such boring classes like this for at least one more month, before starting to learn anything else.

I made sure to keep working on my chakra control training during the afternoon too, Shinji seemed to find it more entertaining as well so we started competing on who would hold most more leaves for the longest times, as I had more experience I had a penalty of 4 additional leaves but I still succeeded to win.

At the end of the day, I went back home, both my parents were there too, we had a little snack as it was too early for dinner.

If you ask me what I miss the most? I would say technology, having a phone or a computer that could always entertain me like in my previous life. So I spent the huge amount of free time I had training, spending quality time with my parents, planning how to get stronger, and one of my fewest passion was playing koto which is the only musical instrument I could get my hands on for now.

During dinner, I talked to my dad about how I found the classes boring and he reprimanded me firmly, he is quite easy to get with most of the time but it seems like he is very loyal to Konoha.

Dad: "Son, we are lucky that the ninja Academy is mostly free, Konoha is doing a great favor to all the civilians by allowing free education to everyone, that's why you should make sure to respect and listen to your teachers, and never forget how Konoha is your home, she is taking care of you while you are small, so be sure to give back when you can"

My mom smiled without saying anything, I'm pretty sure she does not share the same opinion, she always has been more calculating type and quick-witted, so I don't think the indoctrination was as effective on her as it was on dad.

My dad has always been more hot-blooded and honest, the act first, think later kind of guy, knowing him I don't feel like I have enough energy to change his opinion.

Kayle: "Sure dad, I'll try to focus more during the lessons" I say smiling

My dad smiles back at me and pats my head.

Dad: "Good! if you don't understand something be sure to ask me, remember I was a Ninja back in my day.. I also was an Adventurer too, then I took an arrow in the knee"

Kayle: "An Adventurer? what is that dad?"
