81 Dangerous weapon

While Kayle and Karin were focused on talking to each other's they didn't notice all the distance they traveled and quickly arrived at the tower that was in the middle of the forest.

They both got inside and looked around, there were already several teams present, each one of them sitting on their own respective corner while looking carefully around, fighting wasn't allowed inside of the tower to people only gave cold looks while wondering if everyone here had succeeded in obtaining the two scrolls they needed to qualify.

Kayle saw that his other teammate was present, and went to talk with him, after a quick talk he confirmed that his team will qualify as it seems that this teammate already had the two different scrolls needed required.

Kayle nodded at him then went to greet a few of his Konoha's friends that were already there.

Kayle: "Hey! it's been a while! how have you been since last time?"

Shikamaru: "Well... I feel a little tired but everything is okay"

Kayle: 'That means he fine'

Choji: "I feel a little hungry but everything else is okay"

Kayle: 'That means he fine'

Ino: "Hello Kayle! happy to see you! it's been a long time since the last time I saw you in our flower shop... I-I kind of missed you... you know"

Kayle: 'That means she wants her flower shop to have more people inside, people attract people after all... she is quite smart'

Kayle: "Yes... I also miss that place, it really helped me relax my mind after training, +but I was outside of Konoha as a member of the roaming squad I had a few missions to do"

Ino: "Oh okay! Make sure to visit us whenever you pass by Koboha, we also missed your presence there! and our shop does request quite a few missions for the roaming squad like finding rare flowers or special products to help take good care of them"

Kayle smiled and accepted her offer, having more missions to do could only be positive, and it wasn't like he had any obligation to accept them, he would do them if it was convenient and ignore them otherwise.

Choji that was by his side noticed quite a few similarities in his situation, his clan too gave requests to the roaming squad as they had several restaurants to manage and needed some herbs and special food for their recipes.

With that Kayle was promised two notebooks with the ingredients they usually needed and the prices they were willing to pay for them.

Kayle: "Perfect! this way if I ever stumble on any of this, I'll bring it back to you guys! look like I own you one! next meal is on me!"

Hearing this, the sleeping Shikamaru woke up at once, and put his hand on top of Choji's mouth that was about to accept.

Shikamaru: "No need to pay for a meal... we will be grateful enough if you cook for us! and it shows more sincerity this way, don't you think? we shouldn't reduce friendship to paying for a meal! instead, we should enjoy a warm dinner together"

Choji felt relieved that he had such a smart friend, he almost lost the opportunity to taste once again the Pizza, Kebab, or even the burgers with french fries.

Choji: "Yes! Yes! you can just cook something... I will be mad if you try to escape your responsibilities to feed us by paying us a meal at a restaurant"

Ino that was by the side looked curiously at her two teammates, she had never had the opportunity to taste Kayle's food yet, but she did hear her two teammates complaining a few times during their training that they missed Kayle's cooking quite a lot, which it got her curious in return.

Ino: "I can't wait to have a taste, it seems like this is very promising... if you do a good job I don't mind becoming your wife" *wink*

Karin that was silent at their side all this time couldn't help but pout, she had tasted Kayle's cooking several times these last few days and she knew how delicious his meals were, she looked down on the trio in front of her as she murmured.

Karin: "There really are some shameless people out there in this world"

Ino: "Oh and who might you be? looking at your headband I see you aren't from Konoha... where is your team?"

Electricity sparks flew between the two girls as none of them wanted to break eye contact and back off, Kayle quickly interposed as he tried to solve this situation as peacefully as possible.

Kayle: "Guys... don't fight... you are both my friends and I don't want to see you having a bad relationship"

Kayle then presented Karin to his three friends, he told them how he met Karin during this exam and got closer to each other as they faced difficulties together.

Karin that was at his side watched kayle with wide eyes as he lied through his teeth.

Karin: 'What difficulties? we spent most of our time in that secret place of yours... when did I save your life and fed you... aren't you inverting the roles'

She saw as the trio's expressions and look towards her started changing from wariness to a warm and accepting one.

Karin: 'Note to myself...Kayle's mouth is quite the dangerous weapon"
