6 a year in academy , progress and friend

it has been a year since I joined the academy . many small events happened during this time .

the second in the academy , I met my dorm mate for the academy time for the first time . his name was ren . he was a cheerful guy and reminded me of monkey d luffy from one piece . he was cheerful but hardworking and intelligent guy also from rukongai . he was also a first year student like me so we met many times a day daily during classes and of course at night in our room . I had no friend in my past life due to busy life and careful personality but in this one I had decided to be more careful but never reject friendship with people I deemed worthy . I quickly got attracted to his cheerful personality and we became best friends .

he possessed good potential but absolutely sucked at control as his reiatsu was completely leaking everytime which caused to him tire quickly during practice and resulted in slow progress. he had a good body build and 6 ft tall height suited for zanjutsu and hakuda but never seemed to make any progress due to same reasons . I guessed that he was my roommate because the instructors thought that I would not be affected by his constantly leaking reiatsu which they were right.

his reiatsu was only annoying because of fire properties in it which I guessed due to fire type zanpakuto spirit. being a friend i would never treat him badly so i made some time at night and taught him control techniques which i derived from my perfect control skill . he struggled at first but I never backed down and patiently taught him everything. due to our little sessions of training at night , he opened up more and started talking about his life and reasons to become a shinigami which were common like being hated by common people due to poor reiatsu control which affected them etc . I laughed at one time when he told me that he unconsciously burned an inn when he slept there for a night .

after a year of training, he could control 70 percent of his reiryoku now and I had no need to personally guide him in future as I had hammered the techniques in his mind completely which only required continuous practice now . I made him promise to never tell anybody about my help and say that he was taught the techniques by a wandering shinigami before coming to the academy which was actually quite common . I guess there many good people here too just never mentioned.

early proper control on power would result in full utilization of potential during future training resulting in fast progress .both of us succeeded in interacting with our zanpakuto spirits in time . I succeeded immediately after I got my asuchi and ren after his control hit 40 % . we would dive in our inner worlds at night and interact with our zanpakuto spirits daily . my zanpakuto spirit was the edo tensei version of madara uchiha who called me master which was uncomfortable at first but I got used to it .

he taught me many things like uchiha taijutsu with reiatsu , body flicker jutsu , some c and d rank katon jutsus. I never got to know his name as he told me that it was not time yet as my shikai was powerful than some bankai in this world . he told me that when my pure level hit 5000, he would tell me his name and then I could use my shikai and start working on all its powers gradually . my process was completely different from other shinigami as I watched in anime that some succeeded in releasing their shikai in an intense battle and some with drastic changes in emotions which could be permanent or temporary . the emotion theory was based on the fact that ren would now get more angry than usual after he started interacting with his zanpakuto spirit . he told me that and I summarized that he would release his shikai when in anger unconsciously in near future .

during the classes , we learned hakuda ( hand to hand combat) , kido ( spells ) , hoho ( movement techniques) and zanjutsu ( sword fighting ) . I only learned the basics because every night I would fight with my zanpakuto spirit to absorb the techniques from him and improve my fighting style from the basics . he told me to practice basics everyday as it improves precision and less stamina usage which performing techniques .

I combined shunpo and body flicker jutsu and created my own movement technique which suited me . likewise I combined hakuda basics with uchiha taijutsu to create a new taijutsu technique for myself. I learned from my zanpakuto spirit that in swordsmanship there were 3 major realms called

swordsman ( cut steel effortlessly)

master swordsman ( compressed wind strikes total upper limit 15 )

grandmaster swordsman ( can use flying slashes effortlessly which sharpness and range increase with teaming and sword domain which also increase in range with training)

I never practiced any zanjutsu taught in class and fought with my zanpakuto spirit to improve . I never created any special swordsmanship style only practiced the basics and decided to think about it when I became a grandmaster swordsman .

for kido it was easy for me to use but I never practiced it and only focused on the jutsu because they felt more familiar and easy to use . I copied all the kido spells from the library which I realised I somehow had photographic memory now . it made the job easier and I easily memorized them in only 2 hours .

of course I continued to break the limits of my body using increased gravity all the time to draw out more potential which was limitless. I did everything with utmost care as I spotted aizen , sometimes gin or tousen secretly watching me with my kenbunshoku. it also improved with practice along with other haki .

headmaster of the academy also asked to me participate in the real world expedition which I refused with the excuse of lack of technique. I had to lie to him because I knew that aizen would mess with the expedition because he thought me as his plaything . I would have problem dealing with but I knew that I could not protect everyone yet . I had decided to do things with extra care so , I decided to wait for next year to participate and graduate too .
