12 life in cultivation world is hard
Zen and his companion made there way from floating cloud city to cyan forest town, this was the place where Jasmine gave evil god's profound veins to Yun che.
They wasted more time than they intended in Xiao clan so it was already dusk, so they rented a room in a inn.
Before entering, Zen drew a few set of runes on both of them, He didn't wanted to attract too much trouble here, not like there will be trouble he can't deal with in this place but it will be annoying. The runes will give them a passive stealth, so if no one is focusing on them, no one will bother them.
They rented a single room because they were used to sleep in the same room. The innkeeper didn't said anything and lead us to our room.
Zen sat on the bed side while Qingyue found her place on his lap. Zen raised his eyebrow at her action, but shrugged it off quite easily. After all, it's not like she can't sit on his lap.
"Little yue, during the time we spend coming here I had an brilliant as well as crazy idea" Zen told her while she stayed silent him but he saw that she was listening.
"As you said earlier we don't need those purple veined divine crystals.... So I had an idea to make pills using them" He finished with a casual manner, completely opposite from his words.
Qingyue gave him a weird look and replied "Won't it be too risky to give them to a alchemist, and why haven't I ever heard of pills made from divine crystals ever before."
"We won't hire an alchemist... And as for your second question it's because there was never one created" He said with a look like he said the most obvious thing in universe.
Qingyue rolled her eyes at him "You know that you aren't making any sense, right?" She said with a flat tone.

"While you were skimming through literally every book in existence you could have access to, I decided to not just waste my time either" Zen replied while laughing.
Qingyue's ears turned red as she looked down but a flash of sadness was detected by Zen who was holding her delicate waist to prevent her from leaving.
"By the way, I think I got some information you would like to know" He said looking at her sad expression.
Not getting an answer from her he added "It's about divine realm" She showed a surprised Expression for a moment but it quickly changed to one of excitement.
She looked at him with an inpatient look, well who could blame her. Zen had controlled her emotions to a certain extent, but it's not like he could make her forget her mother... That would be impossible... he made his place in her heart, so that she doesn't only think about her mother.
"Information about the divine realm is extremely hard to find" He started his monologue teasing the poor girl more.
Looking at her expression he chuckled and continued "I don't know much also but you will be able to go there if you break through into the realm above sovereign profound" He didn't give her too much information and decided to reveal only a little.

The Great Way Of Buddha was a body cultivation art created by the rage god. It can't be cultivated by any mortal as that will result in too much pressure on the body. One should either have rage god's bloodline or profound veins given by god... So it was impossible for Qingyue to cultivate it.

"Just focus on cultivating the body technique I gave you, I guess that reaching the 100% tempering marrow will be just enough to consume the pill." Zen advised and then proceeded to lay her down on the bed and hugged her to sleep.
She just hummed in agreement and continued enjoying the warmth.

A year has passed since we left the Xia manor, these past months we did many things and killing profound beasts were not the last of them.
We went to the Scarlet dragon mountain region, I told Qingyue that I wanted some fire spirit grass, which was true as I need them for making the pallet... "Strange, very well I shall give you another drop, mortal... this time it will surely fuse with your blood" Another drop of blood appeared in front of him.

"Where is the blood going?!!" phoenix spirit finally shouted after giving him the drop third time not even bothering to remain dignified anymore.
Zen just simply shrugged his shoulder and rolled his eyes at the divine bird " How much time is it gonna take?"
They both just stared at each other for a few minutes until Phoenix spirit had enough and kicked him out.
Outside Qingyue arrived at Zen's side and asked worriedly "what happened, are you alright?"
"Yeah, I passed the trial"
"Then you got the bloodline? you don't seem any different."
Zen shook his head and sighed in disappointment "Unfortunately the Phoenix spirit was too useless."
Qingyue nodded her head a little confused while a shout came from inside the cave
"You are useless, your ancestors are useless, your whole lineage is useless" At this point phoenix was just throwing a tantrum in anger.
"Just ignore her, we should go" Zen said not minding what Phoenix spirit said at all.

Looking back at that time, that bird was really useless, could've at least given me another drop.

*cough* *cough* By the way, Qingyue showed talent in body cultivation also, seriously this girl is truly a genius, she already reached body cultivation 6th stage Pulse condensation of Body Transformation, after this she only has to temper her marrow.
The body cultivation arts I gave her 'Chaotic Virtues Combat Meridian' is divided into three main realms :

I dropped a visit at the Black moon merchant guild to see if they have some Devil's Flaming Blood Crystal, due to the yang energy present in them. He also made a mental note to visit azure cloud continent for the netherworld udumbara flower, Yun che needed that to make a body for Jasmine but I simply wanted to utilize the time in that to make the pill for Qingyue.
The pill I mentioned several times contains:
-Purple veined divine crystals (1kg for 1 pill)
-a pure yang energy herb(for me)/ a pure him energy herb(for Qingyue)
- A catalyst for the purpose of fusion.
- and my runes which will make it usable for someone like me and Qingyue who cultivate primordial energy.
I haven't given it any name yet.... let's see, I will call it profound god pill since it helps reaching divine origin realm in one go and people here calls those people profound gods.
Talking about this subject, I researched the difference between profound energy and primordial energy a bit in my free time.
If you were to call profound energy a single thread then primordial energy is a price of cloth made from threads.
The structure of the two is not too distinctive, so I performed some experiments and was able to change the profound energy to primordial energy in her body.
I placed a formation on her profound entrances, acting like a filter they change type of energy in the body without any side-effect.

My current battle power is in the middle stages of sky profound realm.
Through Training these past months I was able to reach second stage of Great Way Of Buddha, which in turn increased my arm strength to 4000 kg.
looking around I saw... Corpse littered everywhere and the smell of blood will undoubtedly attract other profound beasts.
Sighing I unsheathed my katana and made two slashes, one vertical and one horizontal like Vergil, effectively creating a portal.
On the other side of the portal I stood there in front of a two storey western style house.
Yeah, you thought that we were just fighting profound beasts and researching? Nah... That was in the first few months... After that we decided to make our own home, well at least I decided because Qingyue didn't had experience not interest.
Making my way inside I saw Qingyue lazing on the couch while eating popcorns and reading a romance novel I wrote for her from my past life.
She was also wearing modern clothes... A white T shirt with pink long skirt. When I introduced the new culture to her she called these clothes weird but after all this time she accepted that they are more comfortable and moreover, I placed defensive formations on them so they also work as an armor.
A tick mark appeared on my head as I saw her stretching her arms groggily "You sure are having fun, aren't you?"
She looked at me and showed a smile and replied "Indeed" and went back to reading.
For some reason that smile annoyed me more so I decided to took a warm bath to relax.
Sitting in my self created hot springs, I thought how much this world lacks in term of common Sense.
People here use profound energy to clean themselves rather than taking a bath, well at least cultivators do.
Cultivators in 'higher' realms (above earth profound) think that eating food is a mortal endeavor and usually eat pills to provide enough nutrition for themselves.
Because of that reason, this world's culinary skills are sh*t, because only a few people even bother to eat. Seriously, I want to see the man who created this rumor and give him a round of applause, then asking the logic behind this.
This world focuses on offensive power too much, they don't even think about defense and support. Only a few sects have some sort of defensive formations and that's it the use of formations and runic symbols are done.
In this world there is no one currently cultivating light laws, I admit that they are hard to cultivate but that doesn't mean it's impossible... The main reason for this is that the person cultivating light laws will have less offensive power and that's the main problem, everyone wants to have the power to trample on other.
Finishing my internal rant I sighed and submerged deeper into the hot water.
'I have to keep myself in control... no, more specifically I have to keep my power in my control' I clenched my right hand and I thought ' I know that one day I will without a doubt have power beyond people can imagine... My only fear is that the power I have will control me Instead.
I looked at the ceiling while thinking about the future ahead.
