Why Did It Have To Have Bees?

I am still running.

Previously i had mentioned that i hated insects but i never gave the full reason.

Well, once upon a time there was a boy that was stung by a bee while he was playing, this would most of the time not cause all that much trouble but this time was special.

The boy was too poor to go to a doctor to check for allergies so he didn't think too much of it and kept going with his friends.

Alas a couple minutes later the boy could hardly breath thankfully there was an older child near who also had an allergie so he gave him a shot.

Only after the whole insident was over did the boy realised what was happening and promised to himself to never play out ever again.

For anyone that has yet to realise who that boy was, IT WAS ME.

That was also the beginning of my anti-social life but that is a subject for another time.

Then a thought finaly apeared in my mind which made me abruptly stop.

Aren't i was more powerfull than these things?

It took a bit to realise the true situation here but seeing that the bees were almost able to kill off the centipedes it would mean that they are the actualy apex predators of this floor, even stronger than the spiders!

But this doesn't mean i am nessesary weaker than them, especialy now that i have 'bronze body' i could probably be able to take down whatever hurt that white centipede.

After thinking of all this i did a 180 degree turn and sprinted forward a full speed.

Also this whole thinking process took less than a couple of seconds, it would seem that the 'bronze body' made some huge improvement to my brain.

Oh, i also started spreading the gluttonus aura around again, just to make things go a bit faster.

Using Gluttony this way might seem a bit wastfull but you have to remember that 'mana manipulation' requires spending mana to level up and the higher the level the less mana spells require to be casted, this is an ever evolving cycle which i am more than willing to waste a little mana on.

While i running i also began to think about my future plans.

The bees are the strongest but not enough to completely take over the whole dungeon so the went after the centipedes like me because they were the weaker targets.

Since the centipedes are now over, the ants will be on their own and will probably get taken over by both the bees and the spiders, so their are pretty much fucked at this point.

What i think is best is to not not focus on the ants as weird as it might sound, the best course of action is to spread my gluttonus dust in the territory of the bees and the spiders.

Had this been the previous floor i wouldn't have given a shit about who is killing who and kept murdering away until all but the floor boss were dead but this can't be done here for the simple reason that incects can almost multiply their numbers if they have food.

Again this isn't that big of a problem until some of the stronger versions start to exist, imagine that i leave the bees on their on and they destroy the spiders while i destroy the ants, do you honestly think that creature that possesse intelligence will waste all those resources just to mass produce uselessly weak spiders that are just there to make up numbers while their enemy has means that affect large areas?

Hell no, all those resources will be used to produce a huge amount of bees that are at the very least able to fatally injure me like the one that half killed the white centipede!

I might be able to easily 1vs1 such a creature at this point i would be hard pressed to fight 2, as for 3 and above i don't even need to mention that there will be a good chance that i will die and all this without even mentioning the queen bee, who is the strongest in the collony.

So i will start to silently and fast start 'talking care' of the sub nests while spreading my dust to the whole floor.

Sub nests is something i realised existed when i was coming here, i had taken a wrong turn while following centipedes and i saw them being killed by a bunch of spiders, so the good person that i am decided to go help for a bit.

After follow and killing the spiders for a bit i found something like a nest, it was far too small and the differences were far too weak for it to be the main nest but definitely enough to not be able to be taken by the centipedes.

I highly doubt that ants will have something like this but spiders and bees will definatly have a lot of them.

At some point the insects will realise that i am the actual threat and will come after me but at that point i would have covered most of the dungeon, i would be aware of everything that take place in my dust making it ideal for sneak attacks not to mention that even this diluted gluttonus aura deals huge amounts of damage if you stay in it too long.

Finaly after this whole plan was made up in my mind i arrived at the bees.

Another thing i hadn't previously mentioned is that spiders and bees have a huge advantage when it comes to ants and that is fortification.

You see the dungeon can be altered but will soon revert back to it's original shape after some time, this is a horible thing for the ants since their only was to make tunels and walls but things can be added to the dungeon without reverting back.

Let me explain clearly, taking dirt and rocks from one place to another is not possible since it will revert back after some time but producing webs and wax does not infuence the dungeon and will not revert back.

This is also the reason that i didn't use 'weak earth manipulation' to make wall since it would just go back to normal after some time.

I am like 40 meters far and the bees are still ignoring me, it's not that i am not visible since these creatures have lived in the dark their whole life their eyesight is probably way better than mine in this situation.

Previously i had thought that i was lucky but it would seem that this is not the case, these creature are obviously ignoring me to keep adding wax all around the cave.

It's actualy very easy to see it now that i am not panicking, the bees are going forward at a very slow pace but all their territory is covered in a yellow coloured layer of wax.

Now that i think about it, it was probably the white centipede that attacked the bees since it felt threatened and got it's ass whopped.

Thinking of it like this i couldn't help but let out a small chuckle.

After thinking about it for a bit i compressed gluttonus aura into a ball before throwing it out, this is the same situation as my gluttonus spear but with a small twist.

The ball travelled around 70 meters and bounced around for a bit, the bees seemed to not enjoy the free ball and attacked it which by the way was a bad idea.

With a 'bang' that previously safe looking ball exploded and covered a 20 meter radious with gluttonus aura, no not the deluted version but the real thing.

This is another move i figured out because of my need to kill a lot of things from a big distance, while the spear is good for the bosses it is horible when it comes to to multiple enemies so this 'grenade' type thing was created.

All the bees got up from whatever they were doing and run straight into the dust and this continued even after they noticed that it was fatal.

Crazy, this is my conclusion, these thing are completely crazy, no rather than crazy it would better to call them loyal to death.

On another note it would seem that the wax not only can be 'eaten' very quicly but it also gives a lot of mana and energy, it's also all conected so it is going to keep spreading until it either 'eats' it all or the bees figure it out and make some spaces in between.

With every bee in the dust i finally make my apearence and start spreading deluted dust all around the area.

And as expected these bees turned around almost instantly, this is too fast for a normal bee even if they are the apex in this floor they shouldn't be this smart!

Wait!

This coordination, this ability to single mindedly work and sacrifice for the colony, the bee that was able to almost kill the white centipede while it is so far from the nest!

My eyes popped right open and cold sweat started to come out.

Hive mind?!

Just when i thought of this horrifying possibility i felt my danger sense start sending me signals!
