12 Moonlight Meeting

"One!"

"Two!"

"Three!"

"Ha!"

Swing in his sword in an empty forest, a ten-year-old Arthur swung a wooden sword without a care in the world

At a staggering five foot four at only ten years old, it was obvious that people in this world grew more and faster than in his former life

Not only that but with his bright blue eyes and long silver hair, looking no different from an adult

"Sigh…, I can't believe that five years have passed since I awakened aura, thankfully with the help of Uncle Amos and as well some books in the family library"

"During these five years, I've managed to become a mage apprentice as well as an adept swordsman, however, the outside world still thinks of me as the fool of the mage house"

"Unable to wield mana, and barely able to aura, during these five years it's no surprise that I've been nicknamed the Thorn of the Thorneheart house"

Thinking of his life these past five years, although it was a bit unbearable at first Arthur still decided to go for the lowkey approach even after choosing aura

Not for anything, but the fact that he was assassinated back then just days after awakening aura

Perhaps it was from people after getting news of his awakening feared the offspring of the berzerker and demoness, or maybe it could have even been revenge from the royal capital after what his parents did to Sylas back then

However, remembering the feeling of helplessness and hopelessness he felt when he saw their blades Arthur couldn't help but clench the swords in his arm tighter

"Damn! Even now that I think about it, I feel so angry!"

*Boom! *

Punching a nearby tree with anger, Arthur's fist directly went through it creating a fist size hole

Not only that, but if one looked closely, one would notice that the tree's interior had begun to decay after Arthur's punch just now

However, after seeing this, Arthur just smiled as even if he hadn't achieved much these five years his Aura and Mana achievements were one of them

First off, not only was he able to identify his black energy as the rare death attribute which is rarely seen in humans, but he had been able to become a mage apprentice as well as an adept swordsman

Speaking of this, Arthur couldn't help but think of both their characteristics

Looking at the property panel which had changed a lot over the years, Arthur realized that since the chaos seed was technically bound to him, then any new information he got would in turn affect the panel

Which meant that the panel was technically just a visualization of what he already knew

"However, it's not bad for tracking your progress from time to time" Saying this Arthur clicked on the section titled realms

[Adept Swordsman equivalent to a circle mage

Death bite: Covers an object or target in a layer of death aura slowly corroding it.

Telekinesis: Moves small objects with the power of the mage's mind.]

'Haha a ten-year-old dual second circle expert, no one dares to believe something like this"

"However, to avoid being targeted like last time I have to pretend to be an untalented waste," said Arthur as he looked toward the sky

Unknowingly time had passed and the sun had begun to set, seeing this Arthur knew he had to hurry up and get back home before his parents began to worry

"Fortunately, this forest is not too far from the villa, if not mom and Dad would not have allowed me to practice here in the first place"

Sighing sightly, without wasting too much time Arthur took one final look at the tree which he had punched a hole into before heading home.

...........

Forrest of a thousand wails

Due to the shape of the leaves that resided in the forest, with the passage of the wind a strange wailing sound could be heard making it extremely fearsome to ordinary people thus earning its name

Not only that but according to legend, all kinds of fierce magical beasts lived in its center making it a no-go zone for most people,

Fortunately, the Thorneheart villa was built directly at the entrance of this forest making the people of the viscounty feel safe and secure

It was also for this reason that as long as Arthur didn't go far, his parents allowed him to practice in the forest from time to time

However, at this moment unknown to anyone, Arthur was currently lost as he tried to find his way back home

"Damn! Just what was I thinking when I practiced today, how could I have gone so deep into the forest!" Cursed Arthur

It turns out that in the process of training today, Arthur had gotten so lost in his thoughts he unknowingly lost track of where he was.

Now sun had set, and only the bright light of the moon served as a source of light as Arthur made his way through the dense array of trees and leaves

Thinking of how angry his parents would be and the punishment he would receive for coming late, Arthur couldn't help but pick up his pace as he hurried through the forests

Unfortunately, all this was for naught as he was completely lost.

*Crack! *

Just as Arthur was lost in thought, the sound of a breaking branch sounded behind him gaining his attention

"Who goes there!"

Reading his wooden sword, Arthur turned to the source of the sound

However, what he saw next left him truly shocked
