294 Light On Horizon

Prince Qui had long developed his body clock. It was one of the things that they would teach you in military school. You just had to know or at least estimate at what hour of the day it was already, basing on the position of the celestial bodies in the sky.

When he turned to the balcony doors, he could already see a line of light on the horizon. It was summer and the sun came up far too earlier than usual. He estimated that he had around two hours max before he had to leave.

He swiped Tianshi Xue's stray hair to the side. "Aren't you going to sleep?"

Tianshi Xue was turned to him, but he thought that it was on purpose that she put her back against the balcony doors. Maybe she really did not want to know that their time was running up. "I don't feel like sleeping. I don't want to wake up and find that you're no longer here."
