24 The queen consort and Daphne

" Is there another Queen consort?" I asked confused

" Yes there is, nobody is allowed to say anything, it is a secret, anybody found saying it will get their head cut off,"

" What, really, so can you tell me please, I just want to know, what happened?"

They all looked at each other. Lauryn went and closed the door.

" The queen consort was a nice lady, she treats everyone all equal even the commoners, the present queen was the person who was going to marry the queen long time ago but the king did no, because he fell in love with the Queen consort, the present queen found out about it and was very angry, she made a ruckus, it was a big one, the guard sent her out, we thought she will come again but was quiet for a while, everybody thought that she has given up and she wished them happiness" she explained

" An affair?"

" yes, at that time princess Daphne was 10 years old, the rumor was going on and it reaches the ear of the king.
