72 Chapter 71

David kept silent. This was the first time I see that he kept quiet when he is having an argument with him.

I wonder what is wrong with Jeremy. He doesn't have to talk to him that way even if his rank is low.

" Guys, that is enough," I looked at them " Why don't I walk with the two of you?"

" Why will you walk? Sit down and I will sit with you,"

" If we do that then David has to sit with us,"

" Why will he?" he questioned " His job is to walk and protect us,"

" Jeremy, that's enough. I can't believe you are looking down on him because of his rank, what does his rank has to do with you? You are just someone I met while he lives with me in the palace," I looked at them " I am getting down, find another horse so we can ride on, there is no way anybody is walking,"

I come down.

" I am sorry," he apologized, he was looking down

Did I shout at him too much? He was the one who did wrong. My mother usually tells me that my temper is one that can explode in n instance once someone gets me angry. I never believed her because she might just be lying to me.

" Jeremy, don't look like that. You are making me feel guilty,"

I touched his shoulder.

" I will look for another horse so we can get into," David said with a harsh tone in his voice

Why does he sound like that? Is he angry? But why will he be angry when I defend him? He should be thanking me instead.

[A few minutes later]

David comes with another horse, he said it is only one horse he can find. The horse that comes with the carriage Jeremy will take that one and I will take the other one with David. Jeremy was at disagreement with it at first but I convinced him that we should just go before the night comes. We entered the horse. This is my first time entering a horse, I am so scared. I usually watch movies about people riding a horse, how a horse can kill someone.

" Are you scared?"

" Of course I am scared, this is my first time,"

" Hold me tight if you don't want to fall,"

I was hesitating to hold him but I eventually hold him and my heart was beating very fast. I was afraid he will hear my heart beating.
