10 Verdenturf Town- Chapter 3

Next morning after finishing his breakfast and feeding the pokemons newly made cubes as per element type and for Kirlia Fairy type cubes were also given to enhance her fairy type element, Jason went towards the gym for gym battle. Gym was a rock type gym as there were many bug types around the part so rock types are effective against them.

Gym guy took him to battlefield and he stood on his side, a guy in 30's or 40's with brown hairs entered the other side. He was average looking guy with normal fitness and he wore black gloves in his hands also he wore a brown jacked over his white T shirt and he was in brown pant.

"Hello challenger, I am Jonathon Gym leader here and an Ace trainer, Welcome to my gym and I accept your challenge." Gym leader said.

Jason said hello and introduced himself, then referee standing on right middle said, "This is an unofficial gym battle between Gym Leader Jonathon from Verdenturf Town and Challenger Jason wood from Gao Village. As challenger have 1 badge so this will be 2 vs 2 battle and if challenger wins then he will be rewarded as per league policy. There is no badge for winning this gym battle."

"Do you understood Jason, If you are ready then I will start with this." Jonathon said and he sent out his Geodude.

Geodude is a gray boulder Pokemon. It has bulging, rocky eyebrows, trapezoidal, brown eyes and a wide mouth. Its arms are muscular with five-fingered hands.

Jason sent out his Gastly and the battle started. Geodude started with sending Rock throw but was dodged by sneak attack of Gastly and it sent smog towards the geodude, that move was not that effective but it poisoned geodude. Geodude in poison attacked with Rock Head. But Gastly dodged that with easy and sent a shadow bold towards him. Geodude used Magnitude but Gastly was unaffected due to its Levitate Ability and sent another shadow ball due to which geodude fainted.

"That was quite something, I am impressed with this but let see how you will tackle this one." Said Jonathon with smiling face and sent out his aron.

As Gastly was not hit by a single attack so Jason kept him to battle the aron. Aron used rock throw but Gastly dodged it and miscalculation of Gastly he was hit by Metal claw, that hit was hard that Gastly fell down, He was battling against Peak Advance level pokemon. Gastly than hit by another rock throw and then slide. This hurt Gastly very much but he again stood and started levitating then used a Shadow ball on aron which was blasted in between by a rock throw, Gastly meanwhile used sneak attack and that was a direct hit. Gastly used lick attack paralyzing Aron.

Aron was paralyzed now, Gastly proceeded with Shadow ball and then a sneak attack but when gastly used sneak attack he got hit by another powerful Metal claw and sent back on the ground. These powerful attacks were sufficient to evolve Gastly and that was what jason waiting for, a white light emerged from gastly and after few minutes Haunter appeared in front of them all,

Haunter is a purple Pokemon with a gaseous body. It has a round head flanked by three large, spiked protrusions on either side. It has triangular eyes with small pupils and a mouth with a long, pink tongue. The gases composing its head curve into its mouth to form several pointed teeth. Disembodied hands with three clawed fingers each float in front of its body. Its body tapers into a jagged tail.

"Haunter finish with Shadow punch" This time Jason ordered his newly evolved pokemon, haunter used 4 Shadow punch which were enough to make aron faint. Aron was unable to dodge because of paralysis and that made it easy for Haunter to land attack.

"Aron is Unable to battle and Haunter wins that mean winner is Jason wood from Gao Village" Said referee.

Jason walked towards his newly evolved pokemon and said, "Congrats buddy now we are one step closer to become world's strongest team of Gengar and Human". For that Haunter floated around Jason tickling him and Jason started laughing. Jonathon came towards Jason and said, "that was great battle, you are going to be one of the best trainer hoenn ever had."

Jonathon asked Jason to follow him for reward and he followed him, Jonathon took jason to room behind the battleground and handed 2 gifts, one was a poke egg and one a Rock and said, "This Egg is a gift from one of your admirer who knew you are here and you will challenge me so he asked me to give you it. This rock is part of an Emperor level Onix and it will give great power to any rock type pokemon in your team and atleast level it up or can make it evolve."

Jason had few metal coats of good qualities so he thought to give these two to Aron for eating and that may make him evolve so he will have a Lairon by 1 month. He took his gifts and returned back towards the pokemon center from where he planned to purchase few pokeballs and potions with some herbs for 1 month training as this training he planned was too exhaustive and he also planned to beat many trainers and powerful wild pokemons to train his pokemons to next level.
