Jason was unaware of the talks between John and Jermy, he went to the pokemon center and gave his pokemons to nurse joy then he along with his two pokemons walked towards black market, he changed his attire and went inside. As for why is he here now so it is because he saw a Gastly on one of the shop and spending alot of money at the same time could have been dangerous for him so he thought to return later and purchase it. Jason was just wishing for that pokemon to not to be sold as he was looking weak with lack of nutrition but under his training and nutritional foods he can be too strong in few years.

Jason had total 95800 Poke dollars with him, he went towards that shop and saw that the Gastly was not yet sold so he went to the Shopkeeper and asked fro the price and he said 1 million. Jason was shocked with that price as he barely had 1 lakh so how he will pay 1 million.

"Why this much for such pathetic pokemon, he is not even at initial Intermediate level." Jason said, though he knew from appearance that the pokemon was atleast at initial advance level but that shop keeper was not that experienced and he judged pokemon by their outer strength.

"Ok but I will lower it to 5 lakh" He said.

"What the hell, no one will pay more than 20000 for such waste" Jason said, that pokemon was looking angry from all the comments but Jason thought he will calm him later.

"That is too low, I can't sell at that low price. You can go and look somewhere else." He said.

Seeing that the deal was going out of hand, he gave one last shot, "You will be in loss, no one will buy and you won't get any benefit keeping it." He said and started walking away from him when he heard shout from that shopkeeper from behind. Jason walked back to him and shopkeeper said, "Ok pay 50,000 and thats final".

"Not more than 25000" Jason replied.

Finally after alot of bargaining he agreed to sell gastly at 35000 pokedollars, Jason took the pokemon and left, both were happy that they got good deal. Now main event was going to occur when Jason will try to bond with pokemon as pokemon was already angry with the comments.

Jason after collecting his pokemons back from pokemon center went to nearest opening in forest and called out Gas pokemon,

From that ball appeared a black, spherical Pokemon surrounded by a purple haze. It has a wide, pink mouth with two visible fangs. Though its eyes seem to extend past its round body, visible eyelids surround them.

When the pokemon appeared it looked at the person holding the pokeball, when he saw the person he almost attacked him if it was not for his Kirlia who stopped him in air.

Jason patted kirlia's head and said "Good girl, just hold a little."

Jason walked towards now floating pokemon and said, "Look you are powerful and I can feel that but that fellow there was abusing you by not giving proper food which can be seen from your physique so I thought to free you from his grip, thats why I said those things or else I needed to take loan for buying you. Now if you think anything I said you can attack" And he told Kirlia to free him, though still angry but Gastly understood what this trainer wanted.

Jason gave him specially brought Items for ghost types which he bought to enhance powers of his ghost type pokemons. Though he gave only one of the items as he wanted him to learn few things on own and train himself. Then Jason motioned him to use his poison attack on nearby tree and he did that and he was able to poison a branch of the tree.

"You need to train hard on your poison core so that you will be able to completely burn a big tree by your poison." Jason said with determined eyes and Gastly also wanted to be powerful as such because if he was that powerful then he could have beaten the poachers.

"Look what I read about increasing poison core is that there are two ways, first by eating items which will increase your poison core but they are hard to find or second one is deadliest but most effective, that is by sucking core of other poison type. But that will make you mad" Jason said and Gastly shuddered a little but agreed, then they started training and an ekans appeared after beating few pokemons, Jason motioned him to use the trick and he did as asked. That ekans was quite powerful and his poison core was also powerful, Kirlia beat that ekans and Gastly went inside his body and sucked the poison. When he came out he was shining blue and he fainted.

After a while when he regained conscious, Jason gave him oran berries and said, "That ekans had quite powerful poison core, so we will stop this one for today and you keep on training on your other power, like Psychic, ghost and Electric. (This Gastly knows Thunderbolt as well, though don't know how but he used that as well while beating wild pokemons)"

Gastly continued his training and others were also training under guidance of Jason.
