8 Chapter 8:trials

In a deserted area that was once a forest there are 6 people walking in the direction of a shiny ancient looking temple that has dangerous aura all around it that can easily be seen as the aura of Death if not for Rosalia mana counting them now most would already have fainted.

They walked for some minutes and finally reached the Kodai temple(AN:sure took some time) and looking at it all the structure screams greatness and can be easily seen as a holy place by church fanatics, they were wowed by the beauty of the place but that didn't stop them from advancing as they continued walking, once they stepped inside the floor started shining and they heard a voice.

[two descendants detected the other four shall be sent to the trials, good luck]

Rayden:this is not good?!

I said hurried and worried.

Rosalia:stupid ancestors and their hate for other races.

Said mother while having a complicated expression.

Gram:don't worry I'll protect them all.

He said with a smile on his face.

Melty:nooooooooooo!!!!!! I wanna be with Rayden.

She Said with teary eyes.

Two maids:why did it have to be us!?!?!

They said while crying.

Then the light covered us all and that's how it all started a hellish place we should have never have gone to.

In dark room With only a faint light coming from the moss present on the walls there are 4 unconscious people these people are Gram, Merty and two maids. In the cave-like place you can see that they are exposed to danger.

Not to long after strong steps can be heard and felt as the floor trembled and shaked in the tunnel of the cave in which they are now a monster can be see walking towards them this monster seems to be dangerous as it has huge claws, long and sharp fang, a pitch black fur and about 3 meters of height and 2 meters long it is a earth breaker hound and has a fur that is considered extremely hard.

As the steps get loud it gets closer but there's no sign of a single one of them waking up and the monster keeps getting closer, not long after this monster was right front of them it looked at them and then walked closer open its mouth ready to eat Gram.

Gram:<wind magic:shotgun punch>

And out of Gram's punch just like with a a lot of mini air bullets came out of his fist and destroyed the monsters head(AN:ONEEEEEEEE PUNNNNNNCHHHHH!!!!!!!), in reality Gram was already awake and silently prepared the chant as the monster got closer and attacked when he felt the mana signature was close enough also the monsters breath was so terrible that he had to act or he would seriously die.

Gram:really what's wrong with this place? I can't feel any many outside a 500m range. Just what kind of trap did we end up in? Better wake these girls up but seriously don't they have a too heavy sleep for a maiden, I'm starting to question if the maids in our mansion are competent enough or if these tree are just a special case I get Melty ending up like this but these two are a mystery do all maids that serve my son end up like this, I sighs internally that boy is to nice to women.

I get up and go wake the girls wake and all I get are some lazy answers like " we'll work tomorrow" "please not today" "yes Rayden pet me more", seriously how much does this girl like my son? Well being treated like a Queen after a hard life it's understandable besides I can only imagine what she been through with that son of mine, really where did I go wrong in raising him how did he end up like that maybe I was too soft yh, I should have been stricter, I really wish I could help him even tho he does a lot of horrible things he's still my son after all and there's also that girl but I haven't heard of anything about her in a while did she change, yh right like if wishful thinking like this were to ever come true, why are those two so mischievous? No that's not the correct word their evil even if a father should not think this way about his own child it's true their evil . But let's not think about this now. Back to waking them up what's wrong with this this two maids do they not want to work today? Seriously what happened to all their train to behave, really Rayden what have you been doing to the maids?

Then half an hour passed and they are still sleeping very comfy on the hard floor, I can't wait more my mana has already refilled which is weird it should have taken a few more hours even if you considerate the time I was unconscious because of this stupid temple. So I reproach the girls and since I don't see another option I'll do it that way, I created a mana hand out of my own that is a very hard and draining process that I can hardly maintain for a single minute and I use the mana hand to grab the left breast of one of the maids and she immediately wakes up and covers her boobs while looking at me scared and disappointed.

Gram:calm down first I didn't touch you directly and second I just wanted to wake you up.

I said this while I show her the mana arm which puts her at ease, and she wasn't scared of me she was disappointed the scared look was not for me but because she new what would happen to her if my wife were to discover this.

Maid(1): Sorry for the unpleasant sight Master Reiner, worry not I'll take care of waking the others up.

She said so while still slightly blushing, really Rayden what did you do? They were way better trained than this.

Then just like she said she would the made took care of waking up the other two using the same method but with different reactions, the second maid looked at the first one after waking up and kissed her, a very passionate kiss where both tongues were dancing with one another as they exchange saliva and look at each other with love while their tongues twirl and twirl back and forth just by looking you see the passion in this kiss which is less then Gram and Rosalia's but way more than most, but it's soon separated by the first maid and then the second maid looks around confused at why her partner did so and when she saw her master there looking at them with a deadpan expression and thought about what she wanted to do next got extremely red and started hiding her face, while that the first maid went to Melty like nothing happened and when she saw Melty's completely flat chest and didn't know where exactly to touch for little then remembered and did so and the same way melty woke up.

Melty:hurrrh Rayden let me sleep a little more please.

She said with a very sleepy tone and expression.

Maid(1):*cough* your not home Melty.

Then Melty realized and started apologizing.

Gram:first my wife tricked me by telling me we are having a picnic in paloa forest and then brings us here and we discover a lot of stuff and now all the maids that work in my house are slacking off because of my son teaching them something weird, really what's wrong with this picnic. And you two i didn't know you girls are lesbians.

Maid(1):we are actually bisexual.

Said the first maid while the second only seemed to get more embarrassed.

Gram:I see well good luck with that. Now we have to go we can't stay here forever but we still have time since my mana still needs a bit to get fully restored, so use that time to get ready we are going to have a long and hard time.

I said with a serious tone and expression. Cause I know that whatever is it that is there it's not pretty and will must definitely bring problems.

We decide to eat and prepare for what may be up ahead, after 2 hours or so we were finally fully ready after reviewing all our provisions and dividing them equally among us we don't know when will end up separated so we have to be prepared in this moment I ask myself if those two are ok now but since this place recognized them they must be I have to believe that otherwise I won't have any strength to fight.

Not wanting wasting any more time we venture into the unknown, if I were to classify this place I would say it's a dungeon and about rank A and maybe even rank S, so why is the temple ranked Unknown everyone knows that Unranked rank is given to anything beyond SSS rank but nobody knows how something ends up considered unknown rank.

If I remember correctly rank I is given to those with the strength of a normal person, rank H is given to those with the strength of a new adventurer, rank G is given for those with the strength of two man or simply beginner adventurers, Rank F is given to those who can fight 10 goblins or ten adult man simply a normal adventurer, Rank E is given to those with the strength of 25 goblins, Rank D is given to those with the strength to destroy a small village or simply 100 goblins, Rank C is given to those with the strength to destroy a big village or simply 10000 goblins which is equivalent to 100 well trained knights, Rank B have the strength to destroy 5 big villages or 50000 goblins or 500 well trained knights, Rank A have the strength to destroy 1 big City or 200000 or 2000 well trained knights, Rank S have to destroy 5 big cities or 1000000 goblins or 10000 well trained knights, Rank SS have the strength of 100 holy knights or 1000000 well trained knights or 1000 royal knights, Rank SSS the strength to destroy a country or 1000 holy knights, Rank Unranked have the strength to destroy 5 countries or 500 holy knights or 5000 royal knights, now I remember unknown rank is said to be able to destroy a whole continent by itself or 50 countries or 5000 holy knights or 50000 royal knights.

I myself am only a rank S while my wife is rank also a rank S even so she is a lot stronger than I am, while I only have 1000000000 mp she has 10000000000 because even tho we are in the same rank there is a huge difference and because of that the system used is that for those whose's strength just reached a rank they are given a -, for those who are in middle they are given their letters have nothing and those in the end close to the next rank are given a +, so accurately speaking I'm a rank S- and she is a rank S.

Well mana is not the only thing counted when ranking someone but this serves as an example.

While I was concentrated on my own thoughts we reached a new room in the cave and this one is well disgusting, there's the smell of death all over as you can see rooted corpses everywhere it's horrible and that's just me I can't imagine how those tree are feeling I admit it's disgusting and horrible but it's not bothering that much but they are probably affected even more if you consider there are corpses from all kinds of creatures Demi-humans, humans, lizard people, demons, dragons, beast people, monsters etc.

It must be chocking and I know their all affected since Melty fainted and is now piggyback riding on my back must be because either of the chock of the scene or because wolf people have a way greater scent ability so this smells is way worse for them. As for the other two they are each clinging to one of my arms.

With all this in mind I realize that this is going to be even worse than I thought and that I better be prepared to do everything alone.

Gram: this really is going to be a long trip.
